He Goes With You

Image
“Be strong and courageous, do not be afraid or tremble in dread before them, for it is the LORD your God who goes with you. He will not fail you or abandon you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6 (AMP) Whatever challenges come your way, know that Yahweh, our Heavenly Father is with you. Others may leave you, but our great and mighty God is with you. He will never abandon you. In Isaiah 41:10 (AMP), He says: ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’  ‘Ah Lord Yahweh! Behold, You have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You… (See Jeremiah 32:17 LSB).

Receive His Instruction

Image
I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will counsel you [who are willing to learn] with My eye upon you. — Psalms 32:8 (AMP) Do not be wise in your own eyes; Fear the LORD [with reverent awe and obedience] and turn [entirely] away from evil. (Proverbs 3:7 AMP) Give attention to the Word of God, and listen for His still small voice. Follow the lead of His Holy Spirit, knowing that Yahweh is faithful to show you the way you should go. Prayer : Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning; For I trust in You; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk; For to You I lift up my soul. Teach me to do Your will, for You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground. (Psalms 143:8, 10 LSB) Amen.

“Call to Me”

Image
“The LORD who made the earth, the LORD who forms it to establish it, Yahweh is His name, says this: Call to Me and I will answer you and tell you great and incomprehensible things you do not know.” — Jeremiah 33:2-3 (HCSB) Let us call on the name of the LORD, the Everlasting God, Who is worthy to be praised. “For what great nation is there that has a god so near to it as is the LORD our God whenever we call on Him?” (Deuteronomy 4:7) The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to ALL who call upon Him in truth. (Psalm 145:18 NASB1995) And He is faithful to give an answer. For there is no distinction between Jew and Gentile; for the same Lord is Lord over all [of us], and [He is] abounding in riches (blessings) for all who call on Him [in faith and prayer]. (Romans 10:12 AMP)   If any of you need wisdom to guide you through a decision or circumstance, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking. (See James 1:5) He will guide us into all the tru...

Nothing Too Difficult

Image
‘Oh, Lord God! Behold, You Yourself have made the heavens and the earth by Your great power and by Your outstretched arm! Nothing is too difficult for You,’ — Jeremiah 32:17 (NASB) Endure hardships and sufferings being confident that the Lord will rescue you out of them all. Lawlessness is increased in the land, but the one who endures to the end will be saved. (See Matthew 24:12-13) Do not fret because of evildoers or be envious of the wicked; (Proverbs 24:19 NASB1995 ) In the midst of challenges and difficulties, let the perfect love of God cast out all fear and exercise the measure of faith in you. The battle is the LORD’s and nothing is too difficult for Him. Our God is great and powerful, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. He has all wisdom and does great and mighty miracles. (See Jeremiah 32:18-19 NLT) He is a miracle worker and a promise keeper. Stand on His Word.

Still have Hope

Image
Come back to the place of safety, all you prisoners who still have hope! I promise this very day that I will repay two blessings for each of your troubles. — Zechariah 9:12 (NLT) When Job prayed for his friends, the LORD restored his fortunes. In fact, the LORD gave him twice as much as before! (Job 42:10 NLT) Yahweh is a God of restoration. So be strong and courageous, all you who put your hope in the LORD! (Psalm 31:24 NLT) No matter what challenges you face today, keep your hope in El Elyon, the God Most High, alive. Nothing is too difficult for Him. I will be glad and rejoice in your unfailing love, for you have seen my troubles, and you care about the anguish of my soul. (Psalm 31:7 NLT) …I am trusting you, O LORD, saying, “You are my God!” My future is in your hands. (Psalm 31:14-15 NLT) Lead me by your truth and teach me, for you are the God who saves me. All day long I put my hope in you. (Psalm 25:5 NLT)

Start Over

Image
So I did as he told me and found the potter working at his wheel. But the jar he was making did not turn out as he had hoped, so he crushed it into a lump of clay again and started over. — Jeremiah 18:3-4 (NLT) When our choices cause the shape of our lives to veer away from the good plan the LORD has for us, He takes us, and uses the same lump of clay to start over. As long as we stay on His Potter’s wheel, He will give us a “do over.” He will use everything and work it together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose.  (See Romans 8:28) We now have this light shining in our hearts, but we ourselves are like fragile clay jars containing this great treasure. This makes it clear that our great power is from God, not from ourselves.  (2 Corinthians 4:7 NLT) But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; and all of us are the work of Your hand. — Isaiah 64:8 (NASB)

Our Strength & Shield

Image
The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving. — Psalm 28:7 (NLT) When you are good and tired of trying to do things in your own strength, draw from the well of the LORD. He is the source of our strength. Trust in Him with unwavering confidence for our help comes from Him. God strengthens the weary and gives vitality to those worn down by age and care (Isaiah 40:29 (VOICE). The LORD is our shield. When we abide in the shadow of His wings, we are protected from the flaming arrows of the evil one. Let us seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually [longing to be in His presence]. (1 Chronicles 16:11 AMP) Finally, brothers and sisters, draw your strength and might from God.  — Ephesians 6:10 (VOICE)

Turn Cartwheels of Joy

Image
Though the cherry trees don’t blossom and the strawberries don’t ripen, though the apples are worm-eaten and the wheat fields stunted, though the sheep pens are sheepless and the cattle barns empty, I’m singing joyful praise to God. I’m turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God. — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (MSG) Regardless of external circumstances, our inner man can always be filled with joy, knowing that God is with us and He will provide what we need to get us through each and every situation and season. I will praise the LORD at all times. I will constantly speak his praises. (Psalm 34:1 NLT) Counting on God’s Rule to prevail, I take heart and gain strength. I run like a deer. I feel like I’m king of the mountain! (Habakkuk 3:19 MSG)

Commit Your Works

Image
There is a path before each person that seems right, but it ends in death — Proverbs 16:25 (NLT)  There are many ways that “seem” right, in this world, however, there is no [human] wisdom or understanding or counsel [that can prevail] against the LORD. (Proverbs 21:30 AMP) Commit your works to the LORD and your plans will be established. (Proverbs 16:3 NASB) Whoever despises the word and counsel [of God] brings destruction upon himself, but he who [reverently] fears and respects the commandment [of God] will be rewarded. (Proverbs 13:13 AMP)

Praise God for His Provision

Image
Soon the people began to complain about their hardship, and the LORD heard everything they said. Then the LORD’s anger blazed against them… — Numbers 11:1 (NLT) The Israelites said, “ We remember the fish which we ate freely in Egypt, the cucumbers, the melons, the leeks, the onions, and the garlic; but now our whole being is dried up; there is nothing at all except this manna before our eyes! ” (Numbers 11:5-6 NKJV). They despised the provision of the LORD and glorified what they ate while they were slaves. Sometimes we can get so focused on the small insignificant things, that we miss the big thing God is doing. The big thing is that they were free. May we always remember the good the LORD is doing, and has done in our lives. Instead of complaining about what we don’t have, let us lift our hands to praise God for all that He has provided. May we use the breath of life that He has put in our lungs to thank God that in spite of the hardships we face, He still reigns!

Be Confident

Image
And He said to them, Why are you disturbed and troubled, and why do such doubts and questionings arise in your hearts? — Luke 24:38 (AMP) I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.] (John 16:33 AMP). Receive this Word in your heart, mind and soul. When we are truly confident in all that the Lord has done for us,  no tribulation or trial will cause us to doubt or question the goodness of our great God. And we will allow no earthly event to steal our joy. Amen.

The Promise Keeper

Image
You have kept what You promised Your servant David my father; You have both spoken with Your mouth and fulfilled it with Your hand, as it is this day. — 1 Kings 8:24 (NKJV) Man may fall short of what his mouth has spoken, but God cannot lie (Titus 1:2). He fulfills every word He has spoken. If you seek the LORD our God, you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul (Deuteronomy 4:29). He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you,” (Hebrews 13:5). When you pass through the waters, He will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you (Isaiah 43:2). Continue to stand on the promises of God, no matter how circumstances appear. Our God is Faithful!

In Every Situation...

Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.  — Philippians 4:6-7 (NIV) In EVERY situation, let your requests be made known to God, by prayer and petition, always giving thanks to our great God for Who He is, all He has done and all He will  do in the future. When we give all our worries and cares to God (1 Peter 5:7), our burdens become lighter and we find rest for our souls. Also, the perfect peace of God settles upon our hearts and goes to the very center of our being. This peace goes above and beyond the realm of human understanding and keeps you completely calm in the middle of chaos and crises. It shields your heart and mind against anxiety, as you as you live in and trust Christ Jesus.

GOD of Restoration

Restore us, Lord God Almighty; make your face shine on us, that we may be saved . — Psalm 80:19 (NIV) Our God is a God of restoration. He restores us to the joy of our salvation (Psalm 51:12). First Peter 5:10 says, after you have suffered a little while, He will restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. May the Lord make his face shine on you today and be gracious to you.

Success in Serving

He dedicated his life to serving God in the days of Zechariah, who taught him to fear God. As long as he dedicated his life to serving the LORD, the LORD gave him success. 2 Chronicles 26:5 (GW) As long as King Uzziah dedicated his life to serving the LORD, he experienced success. May we dedicate ourselves to serving the LORD everywhere we go, whether it is working in the home, in the workplace or in the church. Seek God's guidance in every situation and He will give you success.

"Come to Me"

Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.” Matthew 11:28-30 (NLT) Where do you turn when you are bone-tired and struggling with a large load? Jesus said, "Come to Me." If you are heavily burdened today, give it to the Lord. Cast all your cares on Him and He will sustain you (Psalm 55:22). When we put on the yoke of Jesus and learn from Him we find rest for our souls. When we pace our steps with the Lord and flow in the same direction, His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

Don't Keep Worrying

"Don't have so little faith! Don't always think about what you will eat or what you will drink, and don't keep worrying. All the people in the world are trying to get these things, and your Father knows you need them. But seek God's kingdom, and all the other things you need will be given to you." Luke 12:28-31 (NCV) Worrying takes up a lot of mental energy and gets you nowhere good. It just makes you stressed out. Those who are always worrying have not put their trust in God. Our Heavenly Father knows what we need and He always provides. When you are tempted to worry speak the Word of God instead and your faith will be strengthened. Amen. Love, Jesus

The True and Living God

But the LORD is the true God, he is the living God, the eternal King. Jeremiah 10:10 (NIV) God made the earth by His power. He founded the world by His wisdom and stretched out the heavens by His understanding (Jeremiah 10:12). The LORD Almighty is His name. We serve a mighty, mighty God. Let us bow down before Him and give Him the honor due His name. May we forsake all else and put Him first in our hearts and in our lives. May we draw near to Him and cast all our cares upon Him, because He cares for us. Instead of boasting about ourselves, let us boast about how BIG our GOD is.  From the heart, Love, Jackie
