He is Patient

Image
The Lord isn’t really being slow about his promise, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to be destroyed, but wants everyone to repent. — 2 Peter 3:9 (NLT) But do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years like one day. (2 Peter 3:9 NASB) And remember, our Lord’s patience gives people time to be saved. (See 2 Peter 3:15 NLT) “God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. For he has set a day for judging the world…” (See Acts 17:30-31 NLT) “But you, my delightfully loved friends, constantly and progressively build yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy faith by praying every moment in the Spirit. Fasten your hearts to the love of God and receive the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ, who gives us eternal life.” — Jude (Judah) 1:20-21 (TPT)

Know This

Image
“My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge...”  — Hosea 4:6 (NASB1995) In Hosea 4:6 (NLT) the LORD says: “My people are being destroyed because they don’t know me…” Know that the LORD is good (See Psalms 34:8) Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that God exists and that he rewards those who sincerely seek Him. (See Hebrews 11:6 NLT) Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised. (Hebrews 10:35-36 NASB1995) Know that because God so loved the world, He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. (See John 3:16) Yeshua is the good shepherd; the good shepherd lays down His life for the sheep. The sheep follow him because they know his voice. (See John 10:11 & 10:4) We need to know the voice of our Shepherd, so we can follow Him. May we know Him and personally experience th...

Keep Pressing On!

Image
Look, the winter is past, and the rains are over and gone. The flowers are springing up, the season of singing birds has come, and the cooing of turtledoves fills the air. — Song of Solomon 2:11-12 (NLT) We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 NLT) No matter what you may be going through, remember: this too shall pass. Keep pressing on with the Lord! He is faithful to fulfill all His wonderful promises. There is a season (a time appointed) for everything and a time for every delight and event or purpose under heave n— Ecclesiastes 3:1 (AMP)

Never Abandoned

Image
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT) That’s why we live with such good cheer. You won’t see us drooping our heads or dragging our feet! Cramped conditions here don’t get us down. They only remind us of the spacious living conditions ahead. It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. Do you suppose a few ruts in the road or rocks in the path are going to stop us? (2 Corinthians 5:6-7 MSG) Trust God, He is with you. The LORD delivers the righteous out of all their troubles. (Psalm  34:17).

I will Arise

Image
Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me. — Micah 7:8 (NKJV) A righteous man may fall seven times and rise again (Proverbs 24:16a). We may be struck down, but we are not destroyed. Unto the upright there arises light in the darkness; He is gracious, and full of compassion, and righteous. (Psalm 112:4) Arise, shine; for your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you. (Isaiah 60:1) The night is far spent, the day is at hand. Therefore let us cast off the works of darkness, and let us put on the armor of light. (Romans 13:12)

Persevere & Overcome

Image
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT) May we magnify the good that God is doing in our lives. Be the bearer of good news, and not the voice of doom and gloom. Let us talk more about what is going right, than what is wrong with the world. Whatever you go through today, remember God is always with you and He is for you. Our heavenly Father will never abandon you. When you are in the middle of a difficult situation, know that God has already made a way out, and He will reveal it to you, step by step. He will also give you the strength to persevere and overcome. The godly may trip seven times, but they will get up again … (Proverbs 24:16a NLT)

Get Back Up Again

Image
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT) Even though get pressured from every direction, we never have to let the enemy crush our spirits. When we are perplexed, we know that God sees the whole picture and He is working for our good. When the enemy hunts us down, we never stand alone because God never abandons us. Events of this life may cause us to be battered and bruised, but no weapon formed against us shall prosper. We may get knocked down, but our heavenly Father gives us the strength to get back up again. So do not lose heart. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17, NKJV).

Blessed & Broken

Image
“Now it came to pass, as He sat at the table with them, that He took bread, blessed and broke it, and gave it to them.” — Luke 24:30 (NKJV) In all of these accounts: Matthew 26:26, Mark 14:22, and Luke 24:30, Jesus blessed the bread before it was broken. Just because we have been broken by some horrific events in our past, doesn't mean that we are not blessed. We can be both at the same time, blessed and broken. We may be struck down, but never destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:9 AMP). After Jesus was beaten, and  crucified, He received the blessing of sitting at the right hand of the Father. We too will be broken as we receive our blessings and go from one glory to another. Brokenness builds strength and tenacity in us, and increases the capacity we have to give to others. It adds a richness and depth to our life experiences than if we never had anything to overcome. In our brokenness, we have bits and pieces of ourselves that we can share with those God brings into our lives an...

Pressed?

Image
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT) In the midst of adversity, we do not lose heart. For our light and momentary troubles are achieving for us an eternal glory that far outweighs them all (2 Corinthians 4:17 NIV). When we get pressed, let’s press on! Press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us (Philippians 3:14 NLT). Press on knowing that God always leads us in triumph in Christ… (2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV)!

Arise!

Image
Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; when I fall, I will arise; when I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me. — Micah 7:8 (NKJV)  When we fall, we shall get up again. We may be hard-pressed on every side, yet we are not crushed; we may be perplexed, but we are not in despair; we may be persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed— (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). In those dark moments of your life, the LORD will will enlighten your darkness and show you the way. Arise and walk In the light of the LORD!

Rely Only on GOD!

Image
We were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself. Indeed, we felt we had received the sentence of death. But this happened that we might not rely on ourselves but on God, who raises the dead. — 2 Corinthians 1:8b-9 (NIV) Sometimes, life events may cause us to wonder if we are going to live through them. However, when we are totally overwhelmed beyond our ability to endure, we learn to rely only on God. Any strength or power we have, comes from our great God, not from ourselves. We may be pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We may be perplexed, but we are not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but we are never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed! (2 Corinthians 4:8-9). So we can get back up again. Amen and Hallelujah!

More Than Conquerors!

Image
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9  (NLT) Yet amid all these things we are more than conquerors and gain a surpassing victory through Him Who loved us (Romans 8:37 AMP). Don't be fazed by the sufferings of this present time and the light momentary afflictions which are upon you. If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31 NKJV)

Don’t Give Up!

Image
We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated. We do not know what to do, but we do not give up the hope of living. We are persecuted, but God does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9  (NCV) Look at the troubles before you, as opportunities for God to display His greatness. No matter what hostile environments we must endure, God is there with us. We are not abandoned nor forgotten. We may get hurt, but we are not destroyed. Never give up the hope of living the abundant and fruitful life Jesus came to give us (John 10:10).

Nothing Too Difficult

Image
But He said, “The things which are impossible with men are possible with God.” — Luke 18:27 (NKJV) It does not matter how many seemingly impossible situations are in your midst, with Almighty God, all things are possible. Our wonder-working God knows no limits and He has no boundaries. Jesus said, “It is finished!” He has overcome the world and all that is in it. In His Presence, diseases flee, bondages are destroyed, and circumstances change; hearts are healed, and transformed. Keep the faith. Only believe. Nothing is too difficult for our great God!

He Stands with You!

At my first defense no one stood with me, but all forsook me. May it not be charged against them. But the Lord stood with me and strengthened me, — 2 Timothy 4:16-17a (NKJV)  Although people may desert you when you need them most, the Lord is faithful. He will never abandon you. Not only does He stand with you, He gives you the strength to stand. You may be hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; you may be perplexed, but not in despair; you may be persecuted, but not forsaken; you may be struck down, but, praise God, you are not destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:8-9)!

Don't Give Up!

We have troubles all around us, but we are not defeated. We do not know what to do, but we do not give up the hope of living. We are persecuted, but God does not leave us. We are hurt sometimes, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NCV) We may be surrounded by troubles, but we are not crushed. Jesus said, “In this world you will have trouble,” so we can expect that, but He also said, “take heart! I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33). Whatever life brings our way, we are not defeated, nor destroyed and we will never be abandoned by God. So, don't ever give up the HOPE of living a victorious life!

I will Arise!

Do not rejoice over me, my enemy; When I fall, I will arise; When I sit in darkness, the LORD will be a light to me.  — Micah 7:8 (NKJV) Like the Apostle Paul said, we are hard-pressed on every side, yet not crushed; we are perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed (2 Corinthians 4:8-19). We may be down, but we are not out! If we fall, we will arise again. If circumstances appear to be dark, look for the light of the LORD and follow Him.

Not Abandoned!

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NIV) No matter what comes your way, always remember, you are not abandoned. God's love will never run out on you. When you pass through the waters, the LORD will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, nor shall the flame scorch you (Isaiah 43:2). “The LORD, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” (Deuteronomy 31:8) He is with you and will deliver you from all your troubles!

Get Back Up!

A righteous person may fall seven times, but he gets up again. However, in a disaster wicked people fall. — Proverbs 24:16 (GW) When the enemy knocks you down, you don’t have to stay down. We may be struck down, but we are not destroyed. The righteous are never defeated, because we already have the victory in Jesus! If you have fallen, declare the words of Micah 7:8, “Do not gloat over me, my enemy! Though I have fallen, I will rise. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light.” Arise, and shine; For your light has come! And the glory of the LORD is risen upon you! (Isaiah 60:1)

Continually with Him!

Nevertheless I am continually with You; You hold me by my right hand. You will guide me with Your counsel, and afterward receive me to glory. — Psalm 73:23-24 (NKJV) The word, “nevertheless” speaks volumes. It says, in spite of anything and everything that comes our way, come hell or high water, we are still with the Lord. All our earthly possessions can be destroyed by fire or flood waters, but nothing can disrupt the wonderful relationship we have with our heavenly Father. Always seek to develop a deeper level of intimacy with Him. It is good for us to draw near to the Lord GOD for we are continually with Him.
