As God’s obedient children, never again shape your lives by the desires that you followed when you didn’t know better. Instead, shape your lives to become like the Holy One who called you. For Scripture says: “You are to be holy, because I am holy.” — 1 Peter 1:14-16 (TPT) We are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that we may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light; (1 Peter 2:9) I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength! — Ephesians 1:18-19 (MSG)

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; — 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) We are a chosen generation! God chose us in Christ before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love. (Ephesians 1:4) We are chosen to show others the goodness of God, to tell about the wonderful works of our awesome God. We are chosen to be a holy people, God’s very own possession. We are chosen and called children of Almighty God, and co-heirs with Christ. In the past you had never received mercy, but now you have received God’s mercy. (1 Peter 2:10) We are chosen to receive God’s grace and mercy. Chosen to live in His marvelous light, and walk in His love. We are chosen with a purpose to execute His perfect will and plan on the earth. Let us be about our Father's business. Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD, ...

“ A light to bring revelation to the Gentiles, and the glory of Your people Israel. ” — Luke 2:32 (NKJV) Simeon said Jesus is a light to bring revelation. He is the one light we have in these dark times. May we, as God’s special people, a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, and a holy nation (1 Peter 2:9), let His light brightly shine through us, that those in the darkness may see the Light and come. We couldn’t be more sure of what we saw and heard—God’s glory, God’s voice. The prophetic Word was confirmed to us. You’ll do well to keep focusing on it. It’s the one light you have in a dark time as you wait for daybreak and the rising of the Morning Star in your hearts. (2 Peter 1:19 MSG)

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light;  — 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) We are a chosen generation. God chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love… (Ephesians 1:4). We are to be in the world but not of the world. What communion has light with darkness? He called us out of darkness. As He who called you is holy, you also be holy in all your conduct, because it is written, “Be holy, for I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:15-16) Jesus said, “ You are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden. ” (Matthew 5:14) May we proclaim His praises and let His light shine brightly through us. As God has said: “I will dwell in them and walk among them. I will be their God, and they shall be My people.” Therefore “Come out from among them and be separate, says the Lord....

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; — 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) We are God’s special people. See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! (1 John 3:1 NIV) He called us out of darkness and into His light. He called us out of bondage, sin and death. Jesus set us free and put before us, the path that leads to everlasting life. He called us out of lack, to live a full, more abundant life. He called us out of discouragement and defeat. Instead of being a victim, we are called to success and victory! Whenever God pulls us out of something, it is to give us something even better. We are the generation God has chosen to be here now, for such a time as this. Let us proclaim the praises of God and invite others to live in the light of His extravagant love and grace.

Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes (Ephesians 1:4 NLT). He chose us out of the world, brought us out of the domain of darkness and into the kingdom of His marvelous light. You are the ones chosen by God, chosen for the high calling of priestly work, chosen to be a holy people, God’s instruments to do his work and speak out for him, to tell others of the night-and-day difference he made for you—from nothing to something, from rejected to accepted. (1 Peter 2:9-10 MSG) I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened in order that you may know the hope to which he has called you, the riches of his glorious inheritance in his holy ...

“For what great nation is there that has God so near to it, as the LORD our God is to us, for whatever reason we may call upon Him?” — Deuteronomy 4:7 (NKJV) We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God’s own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light; (1 Peter 2:9). We do not have a God who is far off. Our God is with us and He will not abandon us. He is intimately acquainted with us. He is there to catch our tears in His bottle. He knows what you are going to say even before you speak a word. (Psalm 139:4). Be confident that you can call upon Him any time of the day or night and He will hear your voice and answer.

For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago (Ephesians 2:10 NLT). You are on this earth and have come to the kingdom of God for such a time as this. God has you here with an extraordinary plan and purpose to fulfill. Trust in the LORD with all your heart; do not depend on your own understanding. Seek his will in all you do, and he will show you which path to take. (Proverbs 3:5-6 NLT).

But you are not like that, for you are a chosen people. You are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession. As a result, you can show others the goodness of God, for he called you out of the darkness into his wonderful light. — 1 Peter 2:9 (NLT) God chose us in Him before the foundation of the world (Ephesians 1:4). Whatever God delivered you from, it was not just for you. He chose you with a purpose and a destiny, that will effect the lives many. And if He woke you up this morning, He still has something for you to do. We are to show others the goodness of God. We can lead others out of the darkness of this world and into His marvelous light. Let us actively pursue the passions God has placed in our hearts, then we will live abundant, joyful lives and bear much fruit for His kingdom.

I took you from the ends of the earth, from its farthest corners I called you. I said, ‘You are my servant’; I have chosen you and have not rejected you. — Isaiah 41:9 (NIV) Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes (Ephesians 1:4 NLT). Before God formed you in the womb, He knew you. He created you and called you for a purpose. God has not abandoned you, nor rejected you. Answer the call, pursue His purpose for your life. For we are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light (1 Peter 2:9 NKJV)!

Let us walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:8). We have been called and chosen by God. God is light and in Him is no darkness at all (1 John 1:5 NKJV). The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light (Isaiah 9:2). We are the light of the world (Matthew 5:14). May we walk before God in the light of the living, and draw those caught up in the darkness of this world, into His marvelous light!

Never listen to the lies of the enemy for one second if he tells you that your life is insignificant and doesn't matter. You belong to the family of God. God created you and chose you with a purpose and a plan. And He who began a good work in you is faithful to complete it.

However, you are chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, people who belong to God. You were chosen to tell about the excellent qualities of God, who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light. — 1 Peter 2:9 (GW) God chose you. He called you by name and brought you out of darkness and into His marvelous light. He took you out of the world and made you part of His royal family. While others may have rejected us, our heavenly Father accepted us, just the way we were. Declare His praises! Display His virtues. Tell others about the difference God has made in your life.
