“Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines; even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation!” — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) No matter what the doctor’s report says, or what the balance is on the bank statement, continue to rejoice in Yahweh. He is our Healer, our Redeemer and our Provider. No matter how dismal the current circumstances may be, I will rejoice in the God of my salvation. I trust in His unfailing love. I will rejoice because He has rescued me. (See Psalms 13:5 NLT) Finally, my fellow believers, continue to rejoice and delight in the LORD. To write the same things again is no trouble for me, and it is a safeguard for you. Rejoice in the Lord always [delight, take pleasure in Him]; again I will say, rejoice! (Philippians 3:1 & 4:4 AMP)

  Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Selah — Psalms 68:19 (NKJV) Notice that the Scripture says “ daily ” we are loaded with benefits. It's not every once in a while, but EVERY day that our Heavenly Father loads us with more benefits and blessings than we are able to count. Open your heart to Him and receive them, each and every day. His compassions never fail.  He also has become my salvation.’ ” — Isaiah 12:2 (NKJV) Trust Yahweh and find your strength in Him. It is God who arms us with strength, and makes our way perfect. (See Psalms 18:32 NKJV) “Yahweh will always guide you where to go and what to do. He will fill you with refreshment even when you are in a dry, difficult place. Blessed be the Lord, who daily bears our burden, the God who is our salvation. Selah. — Psalm 68:19 (NASB1995) In Matthew 9:36 (NKJV), when Jesus saw saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. The Lord is very compassionate toward us. First Peter 5:7 (NLT) instructs us to give all our worries and cares to God, because He cares about us. The Lord carries our heavy loads everyday. In Matthew 11:28 (VOICE), Jesus says: “Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” When we are yoked to Him, our weary souls find rest. For His yoke is easy, and His burden is light. (See Matthew 11:29-30).  Psalm 68:19 (NKJV) says: Blessed be the Lord, Who daily loads us with benefits, the God of our salvation! Yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the Lord; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:18 (AMP) No matter how chaotic your circumstances may seem, choose to rejoice in the Lord. Realize that the great “ I AM ” is the source of your strength and He empowers you to be more than a conqueror. We can choose to rejoice because Jesus has already gained the victory for us. The challenges we face, fade into the background, when we gaze upon the light of His magnificent Presence. As we submit to the work of the Holy Spirit within us, His mighty power works in us and through us, and we go from glory to glory, full of peace and joy. The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet and makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility] . — Habakkuk 3:19 (AMP)

Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive fails and the fields produce no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (AMP) No matter how circumstances may appear, choose to rejoice today. If God is all we have, we have all that we need. We still have the victory! Offer up to the LORD a sacrifice of praise. Hallelujah!

But as for me, I will look expectantly for the LORD and with confidence in Him I will keep watch; I will wait [with confident expectation] for the God of my salvation. My God will hear me. — Micah 7:7 (AMP) My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him. (Psalm 62:5) Our waiting upon the LORD is not a passive, lay there and do nothing kind of wait. It is an active, continually doing what God has called me to do on a daily basis, kind of wait. We are to prayerfully, keep watch to see what He will speak to us next. We are open to receive additional instruction and guidance. It is a patient wait, full of anticipation and expectation. While we wait, we are confident that no matter how circumstances may appear, God is working for our good. As Psalm 34:19 (AMP) says: Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues him from them all.

Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive fails and the fields produce no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD; I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (AMP) No matter what the current situation may be, let us choose to rejoice in the LORD, because He is with us and He has given us the victory. In Isaiah 43:2-3, He says, “ When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. For I am the LORD, your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior… ” (NLT) “ See, God has come to save me. I will trust in him and not be afraid. The LORD God is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. ” (Isaiah 12:2 NLT)

Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls— Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.  — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NKJV) I would sum up this passage of scripture like this: Though circumstances are not perfect, I will rejoice in the LORD, my God. Instead of complaining and finding fault, let us continually give thanks and praise to our Mighty God. Colossians 3:15 (NLT) reminds us that we are to always be thankful.  We can rejoice and be thankful at all times because our heavenly Father is our provider and no good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11) I will be glad and rejoice in You; I will sing praise to Your name, O Most High. (Psalm 9:2 NKJV)

I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) No matter how bad circumstances may appear, we can rejoice because we have the greater One living inside of us. In His Presence, we have all that we need. His power enables us to overcome every challenge. When situations seem impossible, He goes before us and makes a way. Praise God for His Presence in our lives.

Even though the fig trees have no blossoms, and there are no grapes on the vines;  even though the olive crop fails, and the fields lie empty and barren; even though the flocks die in the fields, and the cattle barns are empty, yet I will rejoice in the LORD! I will be joyful in the God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NLT) When circumstances appear utterly hopeless, we can still rejoice in the God of our salvation, our protector and provider, knowing that He is working all things together for our good. God’s sovereign rule will prevail in your life. The LORD has His way in the whirlwind and in the storm (Nahum 1:3), and in any other adverse situation you face. He makes a way where there is no way. Amen!

Though the fig tree may not blossom, nor fruit be on the vines; Though the labor of the olive may fail, and the fields yield no food; Though the flock may be cut off from the fold, and there be no herd in the stalls—Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation. — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NKJV) Simply stated, the prophet is saying is that when everything he sees with his eyes, contradict the promises of God, He will continue to rejoice in the LORD. May we never let our trust and faith in God be moved by what our current situation looks like. Job said, “Though He slay me, yet will I trust Him.” (Job 13:15 NKJV). Surely, the God who loved us enough to save us, loves us enough to sustain us.

The LORD lives! Blessed be my Rock! Let the God of my salvation be exalted. — Psalm 18:46 (NKJV) Our mighty God is alive and active. He does not sleep, nor slumber. Whatever concerns you, He has already taken care of it. Let us enter into His gates with thanksgiving and a thank offering and into His courts with praise! Be thankful and say so to Him, bless and affectionately praise His name! For the Lord is good; His mercy and loving-kindness are everlasting, His faithfulness and truth endure to all generations (Psalm 100:4-5 AMP). Glory hallelujah!
