God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. For who is God except the LORD? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. — Psalms 18:30-32 (NLT) In 1 Samuel 30:3-4, David and his men came to the city, and it was burned with fire, and their wives and their sons and daughters had been taken captive. In Psalms 18:6 (LSB), David said: In my distress I called upon Yahweh, and cried to my God for help; He heard my voice out of His temple, and my cry for help before Him came into His ears. When you are distressed and in the midst of adverse circumstances, call upon Yahweh for help. He arms us with strength to stand strong through the troubles and challenges that come our way. …“I love You, O Yahweh, ...

He allows us to walk on high places. (See Habakkuk 3:19) Like the people of Jerusalem, may we find strength in the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. (See Zechariah 12:5 NLT) Just as the LORD told Gideon, in Judges 6:14, “Go with the strength you have…” Do whatever Yahweh has called you to do. God arms you with strength, for the battles that are before you, and He will subdue your enemies under your feet. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say. — 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NLT)
