He Formed Us

Image
“ You formed my innermost being, shaping my delicate inside and my intricate outside, and wove them all together in my mother’s womb. You even formed every bone in my body when you created me in the secret place; carefully, skillfully you shaped me from nothing to something. ” — Psalms 139:13, 15 (TPT) We are created in the image of God. (See Genesis 1:27) The One Who formed you in the womb of your mother knows everything there is to know about you. He knows our inside is delicate, easily broken or damaged. And our outside environment is intricate, very complicated or detailed. No need for pretense with Him. We cannot hide anything from Him, so be humble, open and honest with our heavenly Father. Even though He knows our weaknesses and the areas where we completely miss the mark, He also sees the best in us and wants the best for us. The Work of His Hands

Image
You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, The days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day. — Psalm 139:15-16 (MSG) But now, O LORD, You are our Father; we are the clay, and You our potter; and all we are the work of Your hand (Isaiah 64:8 NKJV). Our heavenly Father is the Master potter. He takes us and creates magnificent masterpieces that reveal His greatness. He created you into something special. Let us be pliable and responsive to the touch of His hand as we are living testimonies made to reveal the glory of God, our Creator.

Something New!

“Forget what happened in the past, and do not dwell on events from long ago. I am going to do something new.  It is already happening. Don’t you recognize it? I will clear a way in the desert. I will make rivers on dry land.” Isaiah 43:18-19 (GW) Do not dwell on the past. We can do nothing to change what has already happened. The LORD is doing something new.  He is making a way for you, a pathway through the wilderness (Isa 43:19, NLT). In the words of Pastor Matthew Pollock, "we have a great big GOD, doing great big things!" Let's move onward and forward! There are still greater things to be done. Hallelujah!
