Seek Yahweh while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and deep darkness the peoples; But the LORD will rise upon you and His glory will appear upon you.” As darkness covers the earth, children of God are to become the light in this world. We are to reflect the glory of our Heavenly Father, more and more each day. Second Corinthians 3:18 (AMP) says: And we all… are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit. In order for us to reflect the light and love of Jesus, we must decrease and He must increase, in us. Open the door of your heart today and let Jesus shine on those He brings your way. Who has ascended into heaven, or descended? Who has gathered the wind in His fists? Who has bound the waters in a garment? Who has established all the ends of the earth? But you, dear friends, carefully build yourselves up in this most holy faith by praying in the Holy Spirit, staying right at the center of God’s love, keeping your arms open and outstretched, ready for the mercy of our Master, Jesus Christ. This is the unending life, the real life! — Jude 20-21 (MSG) The Passion Translation says: “…constantly and progressively build yourselves up on the foundation of your most holy faith by praying every moment in the Spirit.” (Jude 20) We should always pray and never give up, or lose heart. (See Luke 18:1-3) And let us keep ourselves in the love of God, receiving His love and allowing it to flow through us and onto others. Not only loving people, but also loving God with all of our heart, mind, and soul. Nothing between us and God, our faces shining with the brightness of his face. And so we are transfigured much like the Messiah, our lives gradually becoming brighter and more beautiful as God enters our lives and we become like him. — 2 Corinthians 3:18 (MSG) Recognize that God is a living personal presence. (2 Corinthians 3:16 MSG) He is personally present. Let there be nothing between you and our heavenly Father. Welcome Him into your heart and your entire life. Let us see and reflect the glory of the Lord Jesus. We all, with unveiled face, behold as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, and are progressively being transformed into His image, from one degree of glory to another, which comes from the Lord. Whether you eat or drink, live your life in a way that glorifies and honors God. — 1 Corinthians 10:31 (TPT)

Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore! — Psalm 105:4 (NKJV) Honor his holy name with Hallelujahs, you who seek God. Live a happy life! Keep your eyes open for God, watch for his works; be alert for signs of his presence. Remember the world of wonders he has made, his miracles, and the verdicts he’s rendered— (Psalm 105:3-5 MSG). When we seek His face, we draw closer to Him. It is the best way to become more acquainted with our heavenly Father. He already knows everything about us, including how many hairs we have on our head. He desires a personal and intimate relationship with you. He woke you up this morning and poured fresh new mercies and compassions on you. Make Him the source of your joy and you will live a happy life. Knowing that nothing is too difficult for Him.

Cause me to hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. — Psalm 143:8 (NKJV) We can not only hear of the LORD’s lovingkindness, we can experience it for ourselves. The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23 NASB) He crowns us [lavishly] with lovingkindness and tender mercy (Psalm 103:4b AMP). His lovingkindness is better than life itself (Psalm 63:3a).  How blessed and favored are the people in such circumstance; How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored] are the people whose God is the LORD! (Psalm 144:15 AMP)

So they brought what Moses commanded before the tabernacle of meeting. And all the congregation drew near and stood before the LORD. — Leviticus 9:5 (NKJV) Moses and Aaron went into the tabernacle of meeting, and came out and blessed the people. Then the glory of the LORD appeared to all the people (Leviticus 9:23 NKJV). When the Israelites drew near to God, He drew near to them. God does not show favoritism (Acts 10:34). When we come close to God, God will come close to us. (James 4:8a NLT). And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you, by the mercies of God, that you daily draw near to God and present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, and acceptable to God. Give Him all of you, as a vessel for His glory. And He will fill your temple with His Presence. What greater blessing is there?

In the morning, LORD, you hear my voice; in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait expectantly. — Psalm 5:3 (NIV) Some people expected to touch the hem of the Lord’s garment and they were made perfectly well (Matthew 14:36). The centurion requested Jesus just speak a word and his servant was healed (Matthew 8:8, 8:13). He is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us (Ephesians 3:20 NIV). What is your level of expectancy? “You will never rise above your highest level of expectation.” —Pastor Jeff T. Osborne. When you have done all you can do, look to the LORD and wait expectantly. My soul, wait silently for God alone, for my expectation is from Him (Psalm 62:5 NKJV).

O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You; My soul thirsts for You; My flesh longs for You in a dry and thirsty land where there is no water. — Psalm 63:1 (NKJV) Before that first cup of coffee, seek God. Look to the LORD, before checking the latest events on Facebook. Instead of glancing at the morning news, get the Good News. Seek God FIRST and He will direct your steps. Seek the LORD while He may be found,
 call upon Him while He is near (Isaiah 55:6). This world will leave you thirsting for more, but Jesus gives living water that truly satisfies. Whoever believes in Him shall never thirst (John 6:35).

“And now I will send the Holy Spirit, just as my Father promised. But stay here in the city until the Holy Spirit comes and fills you with power from heaven.” — Luke 24:49 (NLT) When we receive the Holy Spirit, we are endued with power from on high, from the throne room of heaven. In John 14:12, Jesus says, “Most assuredly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father.” His power equips us to execute the will of God in our lives. We have this power to speak to mountains and have them move. Empowered from on high, we can declare our victory over this world, through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). We are OVERCOMERS!

God be merciful and gracious to us and bless us and cause His face to shine upon us and among us—Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]!— That Your way may be known upon earth, Your saving power (Your deliverances and Your salvation) among all nations.  — Psalm 67:1-2 (AMP) God is merciful and full of grace. We are blessed because we woke up this morning and our heavenly showered us with new mercies and compassions. His face continually smiles on us with favor. May we make His ways known upon the earth by letting His light and love brightly shine through us.

I have called upon You, for You will hear me, O God; Incline Your ear to me, and hear my speech. Show Your marvelous lovingkindness by Your right hand, O You who save those who trust in You From those who rise up against them. Keep me as the apple of Your eye; Hide me under the shadow of Your wings, Psalm 17:6-8 (KJV) Our heavenly Father shows us His marvelous lovingkindess in so many ways. They are too many to count. When we call to Him, He hears us and He answers. The LORD saves and delivers those who trust in Him, from their enemies. He keeps and guards us as if we are the pupil of His eye. Abba Father hides us under the shadow of His wings. And gives us new mercies and compassions each day. What wonders of His great unfailing love!

Fear of the Lord lengthens one’s life, but the years of the wicked are cut short. Proverbs 10:27 (NLT) Respect and honor the LORD and your life will be lengthened. Let us put God first in all we do and bring glory to His name as His dearly beloved children.

"Pray that the LORD your God will tell us where we should go and what we should do." Jeremiah 42:3 (NIV) A remnant of the Israelites approached Jeremiah the prophet and asked him to seek direction from the LORD for them. The above prayer is a perfect example of how believers are to seek guidance from our wise God. Simply ask the LORD where you should go and what you should do. In the year that King Uzziah died, I saw the Lord seated on a throne, high and exalted, and the train of his robe filled the temple. Isaiah 6:1 (NIV ) The Lord Jesus is highly exalted above the earth. Jesus Christ the King is seated on His throne and He reigns in power and righteousness. The whole earth is full of His glory. Like the prophet Isaiah, each one of us will appear before Jesus, one day, and see Him face-to-face. Until that day, let us worship the Lord with all of our hearts and minds. The word became flesh and made his dwelling among us. We have seen his glory, the glory of the One and Only, who came from the Father, full of grace and truth. From the fullness of his grace we have all received one blessing after another. John 1:14, 16 (NIV) Jesus is full of grace and because of His amazing grace, His unmerited favor, we have all received one blessing after another.
