Consider the kind of extravagant love the Father has lavished on us—He calls us children of God! It’s true; we are His beloved children. And in the same way the world didn’t recognize Him, the world does not recognize us either. — 1 John 3:1 (VOICE) But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name: (John 1:12 NKJV) Believe in Yahweh, believe also in Yeshua. (See John 14:1) In addition to believing, be imitators of God as dear children. (See Ephesians 5:1) And make Him your first love. Know that we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.  For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (See Romans 8:37-39 NKJV)

For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus. — Galatians 3:26 (NLT) Consider the kind of extravagant love the Father has lavished on us—He calls us children of God! It’s true; we are His beloved children… (See 1 John 3:1 VOICE) God showed how much he loved us by sending his one and only Son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. (1 John 4:9 NLT) There is no greater love than the love Yahweh has for His children. He loves us unconditionally and He has no favorites. (See Galatians 2:6 NLT) And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. (Romans 8:38 NLT) May we live clean, innocent lives as children of God, shining like bright lights in a world full of crooked and perverse people. (See Philippians 2:15 NLT)

Then you will be empowered to discover what every holy one experiences—the great magnitude of the astonishing love of Christ in all its dimensions. How deeply intimate and far-reaching is his love! How enduring and inclusive it is! Imitate God, therefore, in everything you do, because you are his dear children. Live a life filled with love, following the example of Christ ... — Ephesians 5:1-2a (NLT) Instead of copying the ways of this world, may we imitate the ways of our heavenly Father. The Message Bible says, “Watch what God does, and then you do it, like children who learn proper behavior from their parents. Mostly what God does is love you. Keep company with him and learn a life of love. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn’t love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that.” (Ephesians 5:1-2) The Amplified Bible tells us to walk continually in love [that is, value one another—practice empathy and compassion, unselfishly seeking the best for others]… (Ephesians 5:2). Amen!

See what an incredible quality of love the Father has shown to us, that we would [be permitted to] be named and called and counted the children of God! And so we are! — 1 John 3:1a (AMP) See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! (1 John 3:1a NIV) God’s love is extravagant; it's over the top. God’s love is extraordinary; it goes above and beyond the ordinary. We can count on God’s love because it will never run out on us. Such hope [in God’s promises] never disappoints us, because God’s love has been abundantly poured out within our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us (Romans 5:5 AMP). The Message Bible says, we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit! (Romans 5:5) When we fall short, the love of God goes the distance and them some. When your heart longs to be loved, God’s love is the only love that will satisfy; ...

LORD, I have loved the habitation of Your house, and the place where Your glory dwells. — Psalm 26:8 (NKJV) In the secret place where the glory of the LORD dwells, there is everlasting life, abiding peace and an extravagant love that never ends. In His Presence, there is fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. His marvelous light shines brightly, in His holy habitation. It illuminates our darkness and guides us along on the path of life. One thing I have desired of the LORD, that will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to inquire in His temple (Psalm 27:4).

And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord’s holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge—that you may be filled to the measure of all the fullness of God.  — Ephesians 3:17-19 (NIV) Let's dive deeper and deeper into the love of Christ. His love is a pool of pure pleasure and delight for our souls. Take the plunge! His love is cleansing and freeing. His loves breaks shackles and destroys bondages. His love NEVER gives up on us. It stands by us. Others may abandon us, but His love never runs out on us. His love is an everlasting flow that constantly pours into our lives. His love is extravagant! And nothing can separate us from the great love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (Romans 8:39). Hallelujah!

Return to the LORD your God, for he is merciful and compassionate, slow to get angry and filled with unfailing love. Joel 2:13 (NLT) When you don't know what to do or where to go, run to the LORD our God. He is full of grace and mercy, always ready to forgive. He crowns us with love and compassion (Psalm 103:4) and His compassions never fail. They are brand new every morning (Lamentations 3:22-23). Our God is extremely patient and extravagant in love. And nothing can separate us from His great love. Amen!

And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you'll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ's love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God. Ephesians 3:17-19 (The Message) Jesus loved us and gave Himself for us, as the ultimate sacrifice. Let us be rooted and grounded in the love of Christ. Observe how Christ loved us. His love was not cautious but extravagant. He didn't love in order to get something from us but to give everything of himself to us. Love like that (Ephesians 5:2, The Message).

Then you have probably asked God, "how can I love that person who is so hard to get along with?" Ephesians 5:1-2 answers that question. As we keep company with God, watch what He does and then do it, we will learn to live in love. God is love and as we spend time with Him, we take on His nature. Change your life, not just your clothes. Come back to God, your God. And here's why: God is kind and merciful. He takes a deep breath, puts up with a lot, This most patient God, extravagant in love, always ready to cancel catastrophe. Joel 2:13 (The Message) The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). Our heavenly Father is extravagant in love and full of kindness. Because of His great love for us, God who is rich in mercy, saves us by His grace (Ephesians 2:4-5). Draw near to the LORD, our God.
