For this reason we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, especially of those who believe. — 1 Timothy 4:10 (CSB) Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Because of his great mercy he has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead (1 Peter 1:3 CSB). At one time we lived in this world without God and without hope, but we have been born again. Now we can live with confidence and great expectation. God is not dead and He does not slumber. Don’t believe the lies of the enemy. Our heavenly Father has not forgotten about you. Keep your hope in Him alive and active. His Presence is with you. Always live in hopeful anticipation that God will fulfill every promise He has made. As a child of God you have a bright future, and your hopes will not be cut short.

Fix your hope on the living God, who is the Savior of all people. This hope [this confident assurance] we have as an anchor of the soul [it cannot slip and it cannot break down under whatever pressure bears upon it]—a safe and steadfast hope that enters within the veil [of the heavenly temple, that most Holy Place in which the very presence of God dwells], (Hebrews 6:19 AMP). Cling to your faith in Christ, and keep your conscience clear. For some people have deliberately violated their consciences; as a result, their faith has been shipwrecked. — 1 Timothy 1:19 (NLT)

“… and we are proclaiming good news to you, that you turn from these worthless things to the living God, who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and everything in them. ” — Acts 14:15 (CSB) Let us turn to the living God, at all times and in every situation. Anything we hold more dear in our hearts than our heavenly Father is an idol, a worthless thing. Count it all rubbish! Acts 14:17 (CSB) goes on to say, “ God did what is good by giving you rain from heaven and fruitful seasons and filling you with food and your hearts with joy. ” Our heavenly Father is a good God. He is not a deadbeat dad or an absentee father. He is with us always. Psalm 37:23b (NLT) says, He delights in every detail of our lives. Enjoy your fruitful seasons in His Presence. Open your heart to Him that He may fill it with everlasting joy. Cast all your cares and concerns on Him because He cares about you with deepest affection, and watches over you very carefully. (1Peter 5:7)

We realize He is able to conquer every situation that confronts us. Let us worship King Jesus. In His Presence, we encounter His love, His peace, and His grace. In His Presence, we are filled to overflowing with unspeakable joy. As we thirst for Him, our souls will be satisfied. Come, and appear before Him today.

May your soul long for the living God more than anyone or anything else. He will never fail you. Look straight ahead, and fix your eyes on what lies before you. I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh. — Ezekiel 36:26 (NKJV) The New Living Translation says: “… I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. ” (Ezekiel 36:26b) Is your heart tender and responsive to God? If you have a stony heart, let the gentle hands of our heavenly Father remove it and replace it with a heart of flesh. The heart of stone is cold and hard, nothing can get into it and nothing can get out. It is prideful and stubborn (wants its own way). It holds on to grudges and offense. A stony heart does not know God and turns away from Him. The heart of flesh has the blood of Jesus running through it, constantly giving it newness of life.
