Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8 NASB) May your faith not fail in times of trials, troubles, and temptations. The LORD will give His angels charge concerning you, to guard you in all your ways. (Psalm 91:11) May your eyes be open to see every situation through eyes of faith. In Luke 22:40, Jesus said, “ Pray that you may not enter into temptation .” Behold, for so shall the man be blessed and divinely favored who fears the LORD [and worships Him with obedience]. (Psalm 128:4 AMP)

“Simon, stay on your toes. Satan has tried his best to separate all of you from me, like chaff from wheat. Simon, I’ve prayed for you in particular that you not give in or give out. When you have come through the time of testing, turn to your companions and give them a fresh start.” — Luke 22:31-32 (MSG) You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. (2 Timothy 2:3 NKJV) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy. (John 10:10) Satan wants to separate us from our God, the source of our strength, wisdom and power. But I have prayed for you, that your faith should not fail. Keep fighting the good fight of faith. Finish the race. Keep the faith. Even if all abandon you, remember that the Lord Jesus stands by your side.

What shall we do?” (2 Kings 6:14-15) So he answered, “Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.” And Elisha prayed, and said, “LORD, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the LORD opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha. — 2 Kings 6:16-17 (NKJV) When you wake up in the morning and it seems like the enemy has you surrounded, remember,  there are more on our side than on theirs! Greater is the One in us than he who is in the world. Do not fear, for He shall give His angels charge over you, to keep you in all your ways. Then the LORD answered Job out of the whirlwind… — Job 38:1 (NKJV) Who do you call when your back is up against the wall? When you call upon the LORD, you can be confident, that He will answer. In the midst of your storm, listen for His still small voice. Isaiah 58:9 (NKJV) says: Then you shall call, and the LORD will answer; you shall cry, and He will say, ‘Here I am.’ In my distress I prayed to the LORD, and the LORD answered me and set me free. (Psalm 118:5 NLT) The LORD says: ‘ Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know. ’ (Jeremiah 33:3 NKJV)

Oh, remember that my life is a breath! My eye will never again see good. — Job 7:7 (NKJV) Job made the above statement in the midst grief and suffering. However, God had another plan for him, a triumphant plan that was good and full of hope. Job 42:10 (NASB) says, the LORD restored the fortunes of Job when he prayed for his friends, and the LORD increased all that Job had twofold. In Job 42:12, the LORD blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning. Job 42:16-17 says, after this, Job lived 140 years, and saw his sons and his grandsons, four generations. And Job died, an old man and full of days. God has all the days ordained for us written in His book. (Psalm 139:16) When you are in a chapter that contains tragic life events, remember, your story is not over. Don’t make a final conclusion based on a temporary condition. Know that our heavenly Father is with you in each chapter. He is taking you from one glory to the next as each chapter unfolds. God has a plan for you th...

There are more with us than with him. And the One who is in us is greater than the one who is in the world. (1 John 4:4). We are on the victorious side! I pray that the LORD would open your eyes to see your situation with eyes of faith. Amen.

The ear of the LORD is always open to the cry of His people. Call upon Him as your first course of action, not your last resort. “Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now, and don’t get worked up about what may or may not happen tomorrow. God will help you deal with whatever hard things come up when the time comes. (Matthew 6:34 MSG)

And she was in bitterness of soul, and prayed to the LORD and wept in anguish. — 1 Samuel 1:10 (NKJV) Hannah was sorrowful because she was not able to bear children. In her great distress, she poured out her soul before the LORD (1 Samuel 1:15). When we are in distress it’s best to go to the LORD, and cast our cares upon Him. First Samuel 1:19 says the LORD remembered her. So it came to pass in the process of time that Hannah conceived and bore a son, and called his name Samuel, saying, “Because I have asked for him from the LORD.” (1 Samuel 1:20) Whatever you have asked of the LORD, whatever you have poured your soul out to Him about, know that He has not forgotten you. In the the process of time, the desires of your heart will come forth. Wait on the LORD; Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the LORD! (Psalm 27:14) I wait for the LORD, my soul waits, and in His word I do hope. (Psalm 130:5)

What a gift life is to those who stay the course! You’ve heard, of course, of Job’s staying power, and you know how God brought it all together for him at the end. That’s because God cares, cares right down to the last detail. — James 5:11 (MSG) As we exercise patience and perseverance, God will work it all together for good. Indeed we count them blessed who endure. You have heard of the perseverance of Job and seen the end intended by the Lord (James 5:11a NKJV). The Lord restored Job’s losses when he prayed for his friends. Indeed the LORD gave Job twice as much as he had before (Job 42:10 NKJV). The Lord is very compassionate and merciful. (James 5:11b NKJV). May He restore unto you, double for all your troubles.

Cornelius answered: “Three days ago I was in my house praying at this hour, at three in the afternoon. Suddenly a man in shining clothes stood before me and said, ‘Cornelius, God has heard your prayer and remembered your gifts to the poor. — Acts 10:30-31 (NIV) Acts 10:1-2 (NIV) says, Cornelius and all his family were devout and God-fearing; he gave generously to those in need and prayed to God regularly. God does not show favoritism (Acts 10:34), just as He heard the prayers of Cornelius and remembered His gifts to the poor, as we commit our lives to Him, our prayers and acts of kindness to those in need ascend before God as a memorial offering. In every nation the person who fears God and does what is right [by seeking Him] is acceptable and welcomed by Him. (Acts 10:35 AMP). He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6b)

“Go and tell Hezekiah, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will add to your days fifteen years. — Isaiah 38:5 (NKJV) When Hezekiah was sick and near death, he received word from Isaiah the prophet, to set his house in order, because he was going to die and not live. Then Hezekiah turned his face toward the wall, and prayed to the LORD (Isaiah 38:1-2). When you receive a bad report where do you turn? Hezekiah sought the LORD and instead of dying God added fifteen years to his life. Let us always seek God first and foremost when confronted with adverse situations. Be confident that, He not only hears your prayers and sees your tears, He will also answer and bring deliverance. Live with a sense of expectancy. We serve an mighty God and He is doing great things in our midst!
