Manna for Your Morning

Fear of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. — Proverbs 9:10 (NLT) Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life. If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. (Proverbs 9:11-12a NLT) Wisdom begins with a reverential fear and respect for the LORD. The foundation of wisdom is to honor the LORD by putting Him first in all that we do. So you should look for the LORD before it is too late; you should call to him while he is near.  (Isaiah 55:6 NCV) Let the wicked abandon their way of life and the evil their way of thinking. Let them come back to God, who is merciful, come back to our God, who is lavish with forgiveness.  A prudent person foresees danger and takes precautions.  The simpleton goes blindly on and suffers the consequences. Proverbs 22:3 (NLT) Be wise and use good judgment. Sensible people foresee trouble and take the necessary precautions to avoid putting themselves in situations that can cause them to stumble. Those who blindly float through life pay the penalty for being in the wrong place at the wrong time. Sin will take you further than you want to go, keep you longer than you want to stay and cost you more than you want to pay. Think before you act and take precautions to stay on the right track.
