Manna for Your Morning

The LORD is my shepherd, I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters. He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name’s sake. — Psalm 23:1-3 (NASB) When the LORD is our Shepherd, He will provide all that we need. Our heavenly Father is a good Father, He always provides for the needs of His children, and constantly takes care of us. Jesus is the Good Shepherd and He laid His life down for the sheep (John 10:11). When the storms of life come, the LORD leads us beside quiet waters. He is our inner peace, in every chaotic situation. He leads us along on the right paths, however, we must choose to follow Him. When we make the decision to follow Him, He will take us higher and deeper, and from glory to glory. He continually restores and revives our lives, day by day. The LORD appeared to me (Israel) from ages past, saying, “I have loved you with an everlasting love; Therefore with lovingkindness I have drawn you and continued My faithfulness to you.” — Jeremiah 31:3 (AMP) Just as the LORD drew Israel to Himself, He has drawn us with unfailing love. His love never fails. It never runs out on us. Open your heart and receive the lovingkindness that He continually lavishes on us. Great is His faithfulness (Lamentations 3:23), and it endures to all generations (Psalm 119:90). He is faithful to see you through every trial. He is faithful to heal all your hurts. And He is faithful to provide all your needs. Declare His lovingkindness in the morning, and His faithfulness every night. (Psalm 92:2)

It is a good and delightful thing to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to Your name, O Most High, to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness by night, — Psalm 92:1-2 (AMP) It is good to give thanks to the LORD and declare His lovingkindness in the morning. This makes us aware of His never-ending love that will guide us and provide all that we need, as we go about our day. Appreciate the Father's love, a love so deep that He gave His only Son, so we could be with Him forever. Then let us give thanks and declare His faithfulness every night as He has given us the strength to get through another day. Delight yourself in His Presence always, that is where you will experience fullness of joy and everlasting peace.

You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head. — Psalm 139:5 (NLT) He goes before you to lead you. He follows behind, to protect you. His hand of blessing is on your head, providing all your needs. And His Spirit is in you, empowering you to be all that He created you to be. “For the LORD your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (Zephaniah 3:17 NLT)  Rejoice over the One who rejoices over you.

Then the LORD said to Elijah, “Go to the east and hide by Kerith Brook, near where it enters the Jordan River. Drink from the brook and eat what the ravens bring you, for I have commanded them to bring you food.” — 1 Kings 17:2-4 (NLT)  Elijah did as the LORD told him (1 Kings 17:5) and the ravens brought him bread and meat each morning and evening, and he drank from the brook (1 Kings 17:6). In the midst of a drought, God took care of His faithful servant. Never doubt God’s ability to provide for you. When we follow our heavenly Father, He will always lead us to the place of His provision. The world around us may experience a drought but God takes care of His people.

And Abraham called the name of the place, The-LORD-Will-Provide; as it is said to this day, “In the Mount of the LORD it shall be provided.” — Genesis 22:14 (NKJV) Just as God provided a ram for Abraham to sacrifice instead of his son, He provided for His people in their 40 years of desert wandering. Our heavenly Father continues to provide for His people today. Wherever He leads you, know that He will provide. ...God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 NASB). For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. No good thing does He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, how blessed is the man who trusts in You! (Psalm 84:11-12).

And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.” — Exodus 33:14 (NKJV) “Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.” (Matthew 11:28-30 MSG) As we walk with the LORD, we can rest in His Presence, knowing that He loves us and will always provide for our needs. We can totally trust Him to work all things together for good, no matter how hopeless or impossible they may appear at the moment. Rest in the LORD, and wait patiently for Him; (Psalm 37:7a NKJV) Do not fret—it only causes harm. (Psalm 37:8b NKJV)

So Abraham called that place The LORD Will Provide. And to this day it is said, “On the mountain of the LORD it will be provided.” — Genesis 22:14 (NIV) Your heavenly Father knows exactly what you need before you ask Him and He is totally trustworthy and completely faithful to provide all that you need. He provides sight to the blind, healing to the sick and peace to the anxious. Our God provides protection to those in danger. He gives wisdom to those that ask. He shows the lost, the way to Him. He provides light to those who dwell in darkness. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11) And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19 (NASB)

Since we are living by the Spirit, let us follow the Spirit’s leading in every part of our lives. — Galatians 5:25 (NLT) My beloved brethren, there is no greater joy than abiding in the presence of Almighty God and basking in the wonderful light of His love. And the greatest peace we can ever have is knowing we are walking aligned to God’s perfect will. Since this is the kind of life we have chosen, the life of the Spirit, let us make sure that we do not just hold it as an idea in our heads or a sentiment in our hearts, but work out its implications in every detail of our lives (Galatians 5:25 MSG). If we look to Him, He is faithful to show us the way and provide what we need for each step.

Jesus said to them, “Fill the waterpots with water.” And they filled them up to the brim. — John 2:7 (NKJV) Jesus told the servants at this wedding to fill the waterpots with water because they ran out of wine. The servants didn’t know what was happening, they simply followed the instructions of Jesus. Then Jesus said to them, “Draw some out now, and take it to the master of the feast.” (John 2:8). The Master of feast declared that it was not just wine, but good wine! As we faithfully fill our waterpots, cups, jars or containers, with the living water, Jesus will provide whatever we lack: peace, joy, love, strength, wisdom, etc. Let us fill our hearts and minds with the Living Word and our mouths with His praises and thanksgiving. He will fill in the gaps and our lives will be better and more fulfilled than ever. We may not always understand what is happening, but we know that He is working for our good.

The LORD replied, “I will personally go with you, Moses, and I will give you rest—everything will be fine for you.” — Exodus 33:14 (NLT) When God called Moses to lead His people to the Promised Land, Moses felt inadequate for the task and voiced concerns about who God was going to send with him. (Exodus 33:12). We may feel unequipped to perform the task the LORD has given to us, but as long as we have His Presence with us, we are more than able. God He will provide whatever we need to complete the assignment.  In Exodus 33:14 (NCV), the LORD says, “I myself will go with you, and I will give you victory.” Amen!

In the day when I called, You answered me; and You strengthened me… — Psalm 138:3 (AMP) When you call upon the LORD, He will answer. Every day of your life was recorded in His book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (Psalm 139:16 NLT). And God will provide the strength you need to get through each day. Be confident that the LORD will work out his plans for your life— for His faithful love, endures forever. (Psalm 138:8a).

It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; To declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night, — Psalm 92:1-2 (NKJV) Let us give thanks to the LORD, every morning, for His unfailing love. It knows no bounds and has a limitless supply. Nothing can separate us from His great love! Thank God for His faithfulness, every night. He is always faithful to provide all that we need. And His faithfulness extends to every generation (Psalm 119:90 NLT). Sing praises to the Most High God!

You know me inside and out, you know every bone in my body; You know exactly how I was made, bit by bit, how I was sculpted from nothing into something. Like an open book, you watched me grow from conception to birth; all the stages of my life were spread out before you, the days of my life all prepared before I’d even lived one day. — Psalm 139:15-16 (MSG) Whatever stage of life you are in, be confident that God has prepared you for it and He will provide exactly what you need to get through it gracefully. He comprehends your path and your lying down, and is acquainted with all your ways (Psalm 139:3 NKJV). God is shaping you into a marvelous, awe-inspiring masterpiece. Let the Master Sculptor complete His perfect work in you.

Thus says the LORD, your Redeemer, The Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, Who teaches you to profit, Who leads you by the way you should go.” — Isaiah 48:17 (NKJV) The Message Bible says, “I am God, your God, who teaches you how to live right and well. I show you what to do, where to go” (Isaiah 48:17). When we don't know what to do or which way to go, we can go to God and seek His will and His wisdom. Though our vision is limited, God's is not. He knows exactly what we need and when, to get us where we ought to be. Our heavenly Father will show us the way and provide what we we need to fulfill His purpose and prosper in every area of our lives. All we need to do is FOLLOW.

I know the plans that I have for you, declares the LORD. They are plans for peace and not disaster, plans to give you a future filled with hope. — Jeremiah 29:11 (GWT) No matter what adverse circumstances we face in this life, Jeremiah 29:11 is a promise of a better future. The challenges we experience now, have come to pass. In Matthew 6:25, Jesus tells us not to worry about our life. Our Father knows the things we have need of (Matthew 6:8), and His Word tells us not to worry about tomorrow. Rest assured that God is always with you, He will provide everything you need and He has taken care of all your tomorrows.

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, and whose hope is the LORD.” — Jeremiah 17:7 (NKJV) The person who trusts in the LORD, shall be like a tree planted by the waters, which spreads out its roots by the river, and will not fear when heat comes; but its leaf will be green, and will not be anxious in the year of drought, nor will cease from yielding fruit (Jeremiah 17:8). Seasons come and seasons go, but the LORD remains faithful through them all! Do not fret, fear or be anxious. No matter how hopeless things appear, be confident that our great God will provide everything you need, in every area of life.

O praise the Lord, all you nations! Praise Him, all you people! For His mercy and loving-kindness are great toward us, and the truth and faithfulness of the Lord endure forever. Praise the Lord! (Hallelujah!)  — Psalm 117:1-2 (AMP) In this world, there is not much we can count on. However, as children of God, we can count on our heavenly Father's truth and faithfulness. He is always here with us. His mercies are new every morning. He always provides for our needs. He never leaves us as orphans. His loving-kindness towards us is great. It never runs out on us. Because His lovingkindness is better than life itself, our lips shall praise the Lord (Psalm 63:3). Amen and Hallelujah!

“I am the LORD God of all humanity. Nothing is too hard for me.” Jeremiah 32:27 (GW) Nothing is too hard for Almighty God! He brought life to Sarah's dead, barren womb and it produced living fruit. And Abraham became the father of many nations. Our heavenly Father has ways to turn situations around. He changes our darkness to light, our sadness to joy,  and desperation into hope. When the land was experiencing a drought, God used birds to bring food to the prophet, Elijah, twice a day, (1 Kings 17:2-6). Our heavenly Father is able to provide whatever we need, one way or another. Nothing is too difficult for Him!

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life? "And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these." Matthew 6:27-29 (NIV) Why worry and be over anxious? There is nothing valuable to be gained in worrying. If God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is tossed into the furnace, will He not much more surely clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear? (Matthew 6:30-31, Amp). Our heavenly Father knows our every need and when we seek His kingdom and His righteousness first, He will provide everything we need (Matthew 6:33).
