Rise Up!

Image
“Some find their strength in their weapons and wisdom, but my miracle-deliverance can never be won by men. Our boast is in Yahweh our God, who makes us strong and gives us victory! Our enemies will not prevail; they will only collapse and perish in defeat while we will rise up, full of courage.” — Psalms 20:7-8 (TPT) As followers of Yeshua, we are a chosen people. We are royal priests, a holy nation, God’s very own possession… (See 1 Peter 2:9) Rise up for the battle is the LORD’s, and He has already given us the victory. “In times of trouble, may the LORD answer your cry. May the name of the God of Jacob keep you safe from all harm. May he send you help from his sanctuary and strengthen you from Jerusalem. May he grant your heart’s desires and make all your plans succeed. May we shout for joy when we hear of your victory and raise a victory banner in the name of our God. May the LORD answer all your prayers.” (Psalms 20:1-2 & 4-5 NLT)

Find Strength in the LORD

When David and his men came to the city, behold, it was burned with fire, and their wives and their sons and their daughters had been taken captive. Then David and the people who were with him lifted their voices and wept until there was no strength in them to weep. — 1 Samuel 30:3-4 (NASB1995) Further, David was greatly distressed because the people spoke of stoning him, for all of them were embittered, each man for his sons and daughters. But David felt strengthened and encouraged in the LORD his God. (1 Samuel 30:6 AMP) When all seems lost, encourage yourself in Yahweh and your strength will be renewed. Psalm 29:11 (LSB) says: Yahweh will give strength to His people…  In 1 Samuel 30:8, David inquired of the LORD. And the LORD said to him, “Pursue, for you will surely overtake them, and you will surely rescue all.” So David pursued and recovered all (See 1 Samuel 30:18 NASB1995) Now I know that the LORD saves His anointed; He will answer him from His holy heaven with the saving ...

Go in His Strength

Whom have I in heaven but you? I desire you more than anything on earth. My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever. — Psalm 73:25-26 (NLT) The Sovereign LORD is our strength! He makes our feet like the feet of a deer;
 He allows us to walk on high places. (See Habakkuk 3:19) Like the people of Jerusalem, may we find strength in the LORD of Heaven’s Armies. (See Zechariah 12:5 NLT) Just as the LORD told Gideon, in Judges 6:14, “Go with the strength you have…” Do whatever Yahweh has called you to do. God arms you with strength, for the battles that are before you, and He will subdue your enemies under your feet. Now may our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal comfort and a wonderful hope, comfort you and strengthen you in every good thing you do and say. — 2 Thessalonians 2:16-17 (NLT)

Find Strength

David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God. — 1 Samuel 30:6 (NIV) When David and his men came to Ziklag, their enemies had invaded the city, attacked it and burned it with fire. (1 Samuel 30:1) And their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive. (Samuel 30:3) Then David and the people who were with him raised their voices and wept until they were too exhausted to weep [any longer]. (1 Samuel 30:4 AMP) But David found strength in the LORD. When the enemy invades your life and everything seems lost, find strength in the Lord of lords and the King of kings. When those who once walked with you, hurl bitter insults and accusations against you, find strength in our faithful God. During those times that cause you to weep until you can weep no more, rise up out of the ashes and find strength to continue on with our mighty S...

Find Strength

David was greatly distressed because the men were talking of stoning him; each one was bitter in spirit because of his sons and daughters. But David found strength in the LORD his God. — 1 Samuel 30:6 (NIV) When David and his men returned to the city of Ziklag, it was burned with fire; and their wives, their sons, and their daughters had been taken captive. After they wept until they could weep no more, David found strength in the LORD. When all seems lost, may we find strength in the LORD our God. Be encouraged in His Word, which stands forever, through all kinds of weather! After David inquired of the LORD, he pursued his enemies and recovered everything the Amalekites had taken, including his two wives. (1 Samuel 30:8, 18). When we follow God’s direction, we too can overcome our enemies and recover all that the enemy has taken. And loved ones held captive by the enemy will be set free.

God is with You

So He said, “I am God, the God of your father; do not fear to go down to Egypt, for I will make of you a great nation there. I will go down with you to Egypt, and I will also surely bring you up again…” — Genesis 46:3-4 (NKJV) God promised Israel that He would accompany him on his journey to Egypt. And He fulfilled that promise. Israel dwelt in the best of the land, and grew and multiplied exceedingly. (Genesis 47:11, 27). Our mighty God is a Promise Keeper. His words still ring true for His people today. We are not to fear treading where God has called us to go. When we go down, let us remember that God is with us and He will surely bring us up again. May we encourage ourselves in the LORD and find strength to endure life's challenges. Wherever and whatever God leads us to, He is faithful to bring us through it, out of it, or over it. Glory hallelujah!
