Manna for Your Morning

Yours is the day, Yours also is the night; You have prepared the light and the sun. You have established all the boundaries of the earth; You have made summer and winter. — Psalm 74:16-17 (NASB1995) This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24) God is Lord of heaven and earth. He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things. He determined our appointed times and the boundaries of our habitation. His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find Him—though he is not far from any one of us. (See Acts 17:24-27)  Trust in the living God, Who gives us richly all things to enjoy. Let us give thanks to the LORD and sing praises to His name, the God Most High. Declare His lovingkindness in the morning and His faithfulness by night. (See Psalm 92:1-2) 

It is a good and delightful thing to give thanks to the LORD, to sing praises to Your name, O Most High, to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning and Your faithfulness by night, — Psalm 92:1-2 (AMP) It is good to give thanks to the LORD and declare His lovingkindness in the morning. This makes us aware of His never-ending love that will guide us and provide all that we need, as we go about our day. Appreciate the Father's love, a love so deep that He gave His only Son, so we could be with Him forever. Then let us give thanks and declare His faithfulness every night as He has given us the strength to get through another day. Delight yourself in His Presence always, that is where you will experience fullness of joy and everlasting peace.

Oh, give thanks to the LORD! Call upon His name; Make known His deeds among the peoples! — Psalm 105:1 (NKJV) I love the LORD, because He has heard my voice and my supplications. Because He has inclined His ear to me, therefore I will call upon Him as long as I live. (Psalm 116:1-2) Let us call upon the LORD, in the early morning, noon and night, (throughout our day). Why call? Because He is our constant companion and He is faithful to answer. Call because He is your helper and your only hope. Call upon Him because you love Him and He cares for you.

The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. — Psalm 121:5-6 (NKJV) The One who keeps you will not slumber or sleep. He watches over you and stands beside you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Even the darkness does not hide you from Him. (Psalm 139:12) The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever. (Psalm 121:7-8 NASB) Look up to the mountains— does your help come from there? Your help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! (Psalm 121:1-2) Look to the LORD, your Keeper. He is our help and our only hope. Amen.

(Psalm 36:7 NKJV) Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, My lips shall praise You. (Psalm 63:3) The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is His faithfulness. (Lamentations 3:22-23 NASB) At the end of the day, when you lie down, you will not be afraid; Yes, you will lie down in peace and your sleep will be sweet. (Proverbs 3:24 & Psalm 4:8) For He alone is faithful to watch over you and wake you up again.

Marvelous things He did in the sight of their fathers, in the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan. He divided the sea and caused them to pass through; and He made the waters stand up like a heap. In the daytime also He led them with the cloud, and all the night with a light of fire. — Psalm 78:12-14 (NKJV) For forty years, God led the Israelites through the wilderness. He led them with a cloud by day and a pillar of fire at night. Today, we are to be led by the Holy Spirit who resides within us. For all who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God. (Romans 8:14 NLT) He made His own people go forth like sheep, and guided them in the wilderness like a flock; and He led them on safely, so that they did not fear; but the sea overwhelmed their enemies. (Psalm 78:52-53 NKJV). Our heavenly Father keeps His people safe and takes care of our enemies. You may wander in the wilderness at times, but keep going, He has a land of promise for you too. Your unfailing love is better than life itself; how I praise you! I will praise you as long as I live, lifting up my hands to you in prayer. You satisfy me more than the richest feast. I will praise you with songs of joy. — Psalm 63:3-5 (NLT) The LORD redeems your life from destruction, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies (Psalm 103:4). Cherish His love as more valuable than the air you breathe. When we draw our last breath on this earth, it’s His face we will see for all eternity. Praise Him as long as you live. Seek Him early in the morning and throughout the day. The psalmist says, “O God, You are my God; Early will I seek You;” (Psalm 63:1a NKJV). Call upon Him in the night, as  Psalm 63:6 (NKJV) says: “When I remember You on my bed, I meditate on You in the night watches.” Declare His lovingkindness in the morning, and His faithfulness every night! (Psalm 92:2 NKJV)

Moreover You led them by day with a cloudy pillar, and by night with a pillar of fire, to give them light on the road which they should travel. — Nehemiah 9:12 (NKJV) As the Israelites wandered in the wilderness for 40 years, God led them with a cloud by day and a pillar of fire at night. Today, many of us rely heavily on our GPS to get where we need to go. However, God’s Positioning System (GPS) is His Holy Spirit within us. As we listen to God’s inner promptings, He will show us the way we are to take, to fulfill His plan and purpose for our lives. Sometimes our electronic GPS gives directions a little to late and we end up going the wrong way. But God always leads us in the right direction. He gets us in the right position and proper place at the perfect time. As we follow Him we will surely reach our desired destination.

But make sure that you don’t get so absorbed and exhausted in taking care of all your day-by-day obligations that you lose track of the time and doze off, oblivious to God. The night is about over, dawn is about to break. Be up and awake to what God is doing! — Romans 13:14 (MSG) Don't let the worries of this life choke God’s Word of life out of you. “The seed cast in the weeds represents the ones who hear the kingdom news but are overwhelmed with worries about all the things they have to do and all the things they want to get. The stress strangles what they heard, and nothing comes of it (Mark 4:18-19 MSG). Seek the Kingdom of God  above all else, and live righteously, and he will give you everything you need (Matthew 6:33 NLT).

When neither sun nor stars appeared for many days and the storm continued raging, we finally gave up all hope of being saved. — Acts 27:20 (NIV) No matter how fierce the storm rages around you, never lose hope. Weeping may last through the night, but joy comes with the morning (Psalm 30:5b NLT). After your darkest day, the Sun of Righteousness shall arise. The LORD hears his people when they call to him for help. He rescues them from all their troubles (Psalm 34:17 NLT).

Those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. He who continually goes forth weeping, bearing seed for sowing, shall doubtless come again with rejoicing, bringing his sheaves with him. — Psalm 126:5-6 (NKJV) There will be times of weeping, but the tears we sow, will water the seeds and bring forth a harvest of rejoicing. So let the tears flow freely. No matter how our circumstances appear right now, this too shall pass. Those who went off with heavy hearts will come home laughing, with armloads of blessing (Psalm 126:6 MSG). God blesses you who weep now, for in due time you will laugh (Luke 6:21 NLT). Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5 NKJV). Your morning is on the horizon!

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. — Psalm 30:5 (NKJV) To everything there is a season. A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; (Ecclesiastes 3:1, 4). However, God turns our mourning into dancing; He puts off our sackcloth and clothes us with gladness (Psalm 30:11). Despite the seasons of our lives, the LORD, our faithful and mighty God extends His favor to us for a lifetime. We may have to endure some weeping for a night, but praise God, joy comes in the morning. Glory hallelujah!

It knows no bounds and has a limitless supply. Nothing can separate us from His great love! Thank God for His faithfulness, every night. He is always faithful to provide all that we need. And His faithfulness extends to every generation (Psalm 119:90 NLT). Sing praises to the Most High God!

He shall cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you shall take refuge; His truth shall be your shield and buckler. You shall not be afraid of the terror by night, nor of the arrow that flies by day, — Psalm 91:4-5 (NKJV) There will be days when our enemy will send his flaming arrows our way. First Peter 4:12 says, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal that has come on you (1 Peter 4:12 NIV). However, we can find protection under the wings of our heavenly Father. His truth is our shield. It will extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. When the enemy tells you, "it's impossible" lift up your shield of truth —all things are possible with our great God!

I praise God for what he has promised; yes, I praise the LORD for what he has promised. I trust in God, so why should I be afraid? What can mere mortals do to me? — Psalm 56:10-11 (NLT) I will continually praise the LORD, in the morning, at noon, and through the night, for all the great things He has done and all the wonderful promises He has yet to fulfill in my life. No matter how much time it takes for God to work everything together for good in your life, keep praising the LORD. Trust Him. He knows what He’s doing. He has it all planned out—plans to take care of you, not abandon you, plans to give you the future you hope for (Jeremiah 29:11 MSG)!

For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for life; Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. — Psalm 30:5 (NKJV) Surely, the LORD, blesses the righteous and surrounds them with His favor as with a shield (Psalm 5:12). His shield protects us from the fiery darts of the enemy. Diligently seek what is good and you will bask in the glow of God’s wonderful favor. (Proverbs 11:27)

“Don’t be dejected and sad, for the joy of the LORD is your strength!” — Nehemiah 8:10 (NLT) Don’t let the enemy steal your joy. It is your strength to go the distance with God. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy is supposed to come in the morning. The joy of knowing that God is with you and He has brought you to another day. This is the day which the Lord has brought about; we will rejoice and be glad in it (Psalm 118:24 AMP). Amen!

‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ — Jeremiah 33:3 (NKJV) Our help comes from the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth (Psalm 121:2). Call upon the LORD, morning, noon, and night. He is always attentive to the cry of His children and He is very interested in anything that concerns you. Call to Him for whatever wisdom, guidance, and revelation you need to deal with the situation before you. Hold onto your confident trust in the LORD, because nothing is too difficult for our GREAT GOD!

Let us always give thanks and May we proclaim His unfailing love at daybreak. Because of the LORD’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; (Lamentations 3:22-22). Declare His faithfulness each and every night. His faithful Presence is with us throughout the day and all through the night. Sing His praises!
