Be Faithful

Image
Do not fear what you are about to suffer. Behold, the devil is about to cast some of you into prison, so that you will be tested, and you will have tribulation for ten days. Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. — Revelation 2:10 (NASB1995) Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; (1 Peter 4:12) Who would have ever thought we would live to see someone be arrested for reading the Word of God? May we be faithful to the point of death. ...as for you, brothers and sisters, do not grow weary of doing good. (2 Thessalonians 3:13) In Revelation 2:23, the Son of God says this: “…I am He who searches the minds and hearts; and I will give to each one of you according to your deeds.” “He who overcomes [the world through believing that Jesus is the Son of God] will accordingly be dressed in white clothing; and I will never blot out his name from the Book of Life,...

Conquer the World

Image
Every God-begotten person conquers the world’s ways. The conquering power that brings the world to its knees is our faith. The person who wins out over the world’s ways is simply the one who believes Jesus is the Son of God. — 1 John 5:4-5 (MSG) The one who knows Jesus overcomes because, He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world (1 John 4:4). Those who believe know that our God is bigger than any giant Goliath that dares stand in our way. Believers know that our great God is bigger than the IRS, He is bigger than the doctor's report. His power goes beyond what we can see with our natural eyes. The one who believes knows that we have already won the victory. Only believe!

Thirsty?

Jesus stood and cried out, saying, “If anyone thirsts, let him come to Me and drink.  — John 7:37 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled (Matthew 5:6). In Revelation 21:5-7, Jesus said, “It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the Beginning and the End. I will give of the fountain of the water of life freely to him who thirsts. He who overcomes shall inherit all things, and I will be his God and he shall be My son.” What a glorious future awaits us! Come to Jesus and drink freely from the fountain of living waters, for we shall overcome. Amen!
