Upward Call

Image
I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 3:14 (NKJV) God chose us and called us, and He has plans to give us a future and a hope. We are to progress forward and upward, as we pursue the good plans and purposes God has for us. In Philippians 3:12, the Apostle Paul says, not that I have already attained, or am already perfected; but I press on, that I may lay hold of that for which Christ Jesus has also laid hold of me. May we too, PRESS ON! Instead of letting the difficulties set you back, use them to take a step up, into a stronger, more spacious place in God. Run your race, with your eye on the prize, being fully confident that He who began a good work in you, is faithful to complete it.

Prevail, Progress & Prosper!

‘According to the word that I covenanted with you when you came out of Egypt, so My Spirit remains among you; do not fear!’ — Haggai 2:5 (NKJV) God didn’t bring you out of the place where you were enslaved for you to aimlessly wander through this life. He brought you out, to take you to a better place, as you go from one glory to another place of glory, in Him. You were not saved to sit. God’s Spirit remains with us, because He wants to lead us to a certain place and He wants us to bring as many people with us, as are willing to come. He is there for us, no matter what we may encounter on the way. Not by might, nor by power, but by His Spirit, we prevail, progress and prosper.

Persevere & Prevail!

And He said, “Your name shall no longer be called Jacob, but Israel; for you have struggled with God and with men, and have prevailed.” — Genesis 32:28 (NKJV) In order for any progress to be made, there is going to be a struggle. Jacob wrestled all night with a Man and refused to let go until he received his blessing (Genesis 32:24, 26), then he became Israel, Prince with God. If we persevere through the struggles and the pain, and keep God as our strong foundation, we too will prevail. God gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57). Amen!
