Stand Firm

Image
So the dragon became enraged at the woman and went off to make war with the rest of her offspring—those who keep the commandments of God and hold to the testimony of Yeshua. — Revelation 12:17 (TLV) You therefore must endure hardship as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No one engaged in warfare entangles himself with the affairs of this life, that he may please him who enlisted him as a soldier. (2 Timothy 2:3-4 NKJV) Put on the full armor of God, so that you are able to stand against the schemes of the devil. For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the worldly forces of this darkness, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you may be able to resist when the times are evil, and after you have done everything, to stand firm. (Ephesians 6:11-13 TLV) But thanks be to God, who keeps giving us the victory through our Lord Yeshua the Messiah!  — 1...

Tell Everyone

Image
The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. — Psalm 19:1-2 (NLT) What are you proclaiming? We defeat the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony. (See Revelation 12:11) Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. (Psalm 145:4 NLT) O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them. (Psalm 40:5 NLT) But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign LORD my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do. (Psalm 73:28 NLT) When I see and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have established, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that Y...

Be Alert

Image
Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour. — 1 Peter 5:8 (AMP) Be alert at all times. In Revelation 12:17, the devil declared war with those who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the testimony of Jesus. Our enemy does not take breaks and he doesn't go on vacation. He continually prowls around, seeking someone to devour. Take a decisive stand against him and resist his every attack with strong, vigorous faith. For you know that your believing brothers and sisters around the world are experiencing the same kinds of troubles you endure. (1 Peter 5:9 TPT)

Live in the Light

Image
And the dragon was angry at the woman and declared war against the rest of her children—all who keep God’s commandments and maintain their testimony for Jesus. — Revelation 12:17 (NLT) Realize we are in a war. (Excerpt from The Book of Mysteries , Day 45 ) God’s Word is true. And the darkness will always war against the light. And the light must always war against the darkness. In the end, there is no neutrality. You either let the darkness overcome you, or you overcome the darkness. There is no middle ground. In John 12:35-36 (NLT), Jesus said, “My light will shine for you just a little longer. Walk in the light while you can, so the darkness will not overtake you. Those who walk in the darkness cannot see where they are going. Put your trust in the light while there is still time; then you will become children of the light.” For once you were full of darkness, but now you have light from the Lord. So live as people of light!  — Ephesians 5:8 (NLT)

Help Spread the Good News

Image
And I want you to know, my dear brothers and sisters, that everything that has happened to me here has helped to spread the Good News. — Philippians 1:12 (NLT) Just as in the Apostle Paul’s life, everything that has happened to us can serve to spread the Good News of Jesus Christ and all that He has done in our lives. No matter what you have gone through, the greatest testimony of God’s faithfulness is that you are still here! He has not allowed the enemy to take you out. Whether it was a fire or a flood, He brought you through it! When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (Isaiah 43:2 NLT)

Prison & Pulpit

Image
I want to report to you, friends, that my imprisonment here has had the opposite of its intended effect. Instead of being squelched, the Message has actually prospered. — Philippians 1:12 (MSG) The Apostle Paul was imprisoned in an attempt to hinder the preaching of God’s message but it actually served to advance the gospel. The enemy will try to imprison us with whatever bad thing that happened to us, but that too can have the opposite of it’s intended effect. In Philippians 1:20 (MSG) Paul says, “They didn’t shut me up; they gave me a pulpit!” Let us utilize the things we go through to declare God’s mighty power and faithfulness. May our lives proclaim His praises and help the Message continue to prosper. We overcome and conquer the enemy because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony. (Revelation 12:11 AMP) Amen.

It’s War!

Image
And the dragon was angry at the woman and declared war against the rest of her children—all who keep God’s commandments and maintain their testimony for Jesus. — Revelation 12:17 (NLT) “Woe to the inhabitants of the earth and the sea! For the devil has come down to you, having great wrath, because he knows that he has a short time.” (Revelation 12:12 NKJV). Wake up! We are in a war. Lives are at stake. First Peter 5:8 (NLT) warns us to “Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.” But take heart, because Jesus has already overcome the enemy. We defeat him by the blood of the Lamb and by our testimony (Revelation 12:11a NLT). Let us continually speak God’s Word over our lives. Greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world.

What’s Your Story?

Image
And they overcame and conquered him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, for they did not love their life and renounce their faith even when faced with death. — Revelation 12:11 (AMP) What Jesus went through was not for himself. He suffered, bled and died for us. Maybe what you are going through today, or have gone through in the past, is not about you. Even when faced with death, hold on to faith. God can use the land of your suffering to bring about great blessing and much fruit. Your greatest struggle becomes your story. Our stories may vary, but if we persevere to the end, Jesus has ensured victory for us all. Endure the hardship, and you will overcome and conquer all! Share your story. Your testimony will give others hope that they too will see the LORD’s goodness here in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13)

No Secret

Image
Jesus left that place and went to the vicinity of Tyre. He entered a house and did not want anyone to know it; yet he could not keep his presence secret. — Mark 7:24 (NIV) Jesus is Immanuel, which means ‘God is with us (Matthew 1:23). His presence is not meant to be a secret. His presence destroys yokes and breaks bondages. He sets captives free. Tell others what He has done for you. We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony. (Revelation 12:11). Because we have His light in us, we are the light of the world—like a city on a hilltop that cannot be hidden (Matthew 5:14 NLT). Come out of hiding and declare the wonderful works He has done in your life.

It is Written

Image
Then Jesus said to him, “Away with you, Satan! For it is written, ‘You shall worship the LORD your God, and Him only you shall serve.’ ” — Matthew 4:10 (NKJV) In Genesis 3, when the devil approached Eve, she began to question God and thus fell into the trap of the enemy. Satan tempted Jesus three times and each time, Jesus responded with “it is written,” and the devil left Him (Matthew 4:11). We overcome by the word of our testimony; respond to the enemy by speaking the Word of God. It is the sword of the Spirit and it’s alive and active. Confront the lies of the enemy, with the Word! Death and life are in the power of your tongue (Proverbs 18:21).

Fight the Good Fight

Image
You intended to harm me, but God intended it for good to accomplish what is now being done, the saving of many lives. — Genesis 50:20 (NIV) Our adversary the devil prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8). However, no weapon formed against us shall prosper. What the enemy intends for our harm, God will cause all things to work together for good (Romans 8:28). So fight the good fight of faith (1 Timothy 6:12) and God will use your testimony to touch the lives of others.

The Voice of Triumph!

Image
Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. — Psalm 47:1-2 (NKJV) The Kingdom of God has a language. It is the voice of victory and triumph. Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: “The LORD’s right hand has done mighty things! (Psalm 118:15 NIV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony, (Revelation 12:11). As an ambassador (2 Corinthians 5:20) and citizen of the kingdom of God, are you speaking the language of defeat or with the victorious voice of God's kingdom?

“Bring It!”

Image
How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who proclaims peace, who brings glad tidings of good things, who proclaims salvation, who says to Zion, “Your God reigns!” — Isaiah 52:7 (NKJV) Be the one who brings the Good News into your atmosphere. Instead of the gloom and doom we hear in the worldly news, be the bearer of good news. Proclaim and promote peace with God and with everyone who comes your way. Bring to others, the message of God’s amazing love that He has poured into your heart. Tell others about the good things that God is doing in your life! We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony (Revelation 12:11). Amen!

We Overcome

And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death... — Revelation 12:11 (AMP) We overcome the devil, who deceives the whole world (Revelation 12:9), by the precious blood of Jesus and by the words we utter out of our mouths. Our tongues have the power of life and death (Proverbs 18:21). Choose to speak words of life. Tell others about the goodness of God and what He has done in your life. We conquer the lies and deception of Satan as we speak truth: the Word of God. In Deuteronomy 6:7, God’s people were instructed to talk about the Word when they sit in their homes, when they walk by the way, when they lie down and when they rise up. We overcome the works of our enemy by continually speaking God’s Word and sharing our testimonies.

What is the Word of Your Testimony?

And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of their testimony, and they did not love their lives to the death. — Revelation 12:11 (NKJV) Are you testifying more about your troubles than about the amazing God who delivers you out of all your troubles? All the trials and temptations we suffer in this world, are nothing more than an opportunity for us to testify about how our great God brought us through. Tell others about all the good things God has done in your life. Speak of how the wonderful Word of God has been proven true in your life. Give testimony of the victory we have in Jesus Christ!

Highly Honor His Name!

I will thank the LORD at all times. My mouth will always praise him. My soul will boast about the LORD. Those who are oppressed will hear it and rejoice. Praise the LORD’s greatness with me. Let us highly honor his name together.  — Psalm 34:1-3 (GW) Give thanks to the LORD at all times. Constantly speak his praises! Boast about all that God is doing in your life. It will encourage those who hear your testimony. Let us highly honor His name by living HOLY, being HUMBLE and staying HUNGRY for the things of God!

It's Already Done!

But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. — 1 John 4:4 (NLT) I love this verse, because it says it's already DONE! Just as Jesus said on the cross, "It is finished!" He has already won the victory for us. Praise the Lord! We just have to walk it out and work it out, knowing that we overcome by the blood of Christ and the Word of our testimony. Amen.

Our Testimony

They won the victory over him because of the blood of the lamb and the word of their testimony. They didn’t love their life so much that they refused to give it up. Revelation 12:11 (GW) The people of God overcome Satan by the blood of Jesus Christ and the word of our testimony. What are you saying? Tell people the good news about what God has done in your life. Tell about the goodness, grace and mercy He has shown to you. Proclaim the good news of peace through Jesus Christ, Lord and Savior of the world.
