This is what the LORD says— the Holy One of Israel and your Creator: “Do you question what I do for my children? Do you give me orders about the work of my hands? God decided in advance to adopt us into his own family by bringing us to himself through Jesus Christ. This is what he wanted to do, and it gave him great pleasure. This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel: “I am the LORD your God, who teaches you what is good for you and leads you along the paths you should follow. Oh, that you had listened to my commands! Then you would have had peace flowing like a gentle river and righteousness rolling over you like waves in the sea.” — Isaiah 48:17-18 (NLT) May we turn a deaf ear to the voices of this world and listen to the still small voice of Yahweh. He teaches us what is good for us. For the LORD is God, and he created the heavens and earth and put everything in place. He made the world to be lived in, not to be a place of empty chaos. “I am the LORD,” he says, “and there is no other.” (Isaiah 45:18 NLT) He speaks only what is true and declares only what is right. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Selah. — Psalms 46:1-3 (LSB) No matter what chaos and disasters occur on the earth, Yahweh is always ready to help. In the midst of your challenges and troubles, He is with you. The LORD of Heaven’s Armies is here among us; the God of Israel is our fortress. Interlude (Psalms 46:7 NLT) The Lord is my Strength and my [impenetrable] Shield; my heart trusts in, relies on, and confidently leans on Him, and I am helped; therefore my heart greatly rejoices, and with my song will I praise Him. When I do, I’m safe and sound in you— delivered from my foes!” — Psalms 18:2-3 (TPT) God’s way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection. (Psalm 18:30 NLT) You have armed me with strength for the battle; you have subdued my enemies under my feet. For you are my hiding place; you protect me from trouble. (Psalm 18:39 NT) You surround me with songs of victory. Interlude (Psalm 32:7 NLT) Abide in the LORD. He equips us for the battle and ensures us of victory.

O taste and see that the LORD [our God] is good; How blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who takes refuge in Him. — Psalm 34:8 (AMP) No matter what happens in your life, always remember that the LORD is good. Do not lean on your own understanding. “My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the LORD. “And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine. For just as the heavens are higher than the earth, so my ways are higher than your ways and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.” (Isaiah 55:8-9 NLT) But as for me, it is good for me to draw near to God; I have made the Lord God my refuge and placed my trust in Him, that I may tell of all Your works. (Psalm 73:28 AMP) Let me hear Your lovingkindness in the morning, for I trust in You. Teach me the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. Teach me to do Your will [so that I may please You], for You are my God; Let Your good Spirit lead me on level ground.  — Psalm 143:8, 10...

Search me, O God, and know my heart; test me and know my anxious thoughts. Point out anything in me that offends  you, and lead me along the path of everlasting life. — Psalm 139:23-24 (NLT) The LORD will make known to us the path of life. (See Psalm 16:11) When we let the distractions of the enemy draw our attention away from God, we lose our sense of direction, and end up on some desolate dead end road. But our heavenly Father is faithful to guide us back to Him. May we give attention to the Word of God and keep our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith. (See Hebrews 12:2) The LORD says, “ I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you .” (Psalm 32:8 NLT) Follow His lead. If I take the wings of the dawn, If I dwell in the remotest part of the sea, even there Your hand will lead me, and Your right hand will lay hold of me . — Psalm 139:9-10 (NASB)

Now God has offered to us the same promise of entering into his realm of resting in confident faith. So we must be extremely careful to ensure that we all embrace the fullness of that promise and not fail to experience it. For we have heard the good news of deliverance just as they did, yet they didn’t join their faith with the Word. Instead, what they heard didn’t affect them deeply, for they doubted.” — Hebrews‬ ‭4:1-2‬ ‭(TPT‬‬) Instead of doubting join your faith to His Word. His precious promises will be fulfilled for all who believe. No matter what you are going through if you love God and are called according to His purpose, He will work all things together for good. (Romans 8:28)

“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal; for where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.” — Matthew 6:19-21 (NASB) Our security is not found in our possessions, but in His Presence. The richest resource we have is the presence of Almighty God dwelling in us. For in Him we live and move and have our being… (Acts 17:28 NKJV). In His Presence, we have fullness of joy, everlasting peace and a wealth of wisdom. Treasure His Presence above all else. In His Presence is protection and provision of all that we need. Any investment into His kingdom is one that will pay back full dividends.

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. — Psalm 125:2 (NKJV) Our heavenly Father surrounds us with arms of love. His eye watches over us to protect us and guide us along as we go about our day. He upholds us with His mighty hand. (Psalm 37:24) When you call out to Him, He will answer. Psalm 138:3 (AMP) says: On the day I called, You answered me; and You made me bold and confident with [renewed] strength in my life. You can be certain that the LORD will perfect that which concerns you. (Psalm 138:8a) For you bless the godly, O LORD; you surround them with your shield of love. (Psalm 5:12 NLT)

The LORD is your keeper; the LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, nor the moon by night. — Psalm 121:5-6 (NKJV) The One who keeps you will not slumber or sleep. He watches over you and stands beside you, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Even the darkness does not hide you from Him. (Psalm 139:12) The LORD will protect you from all evil; He will keep your soul. The LORD will guard your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forever. (Psalm 121:7-8 NASB) Look up to the mountains— does your help come from there? Your help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! (Psalm 121:1-2) Look to the LORD, your Keeper. He is our help and our only hope. Amen.

For we live by faith, not by sight. — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NIV) Let's live our lives by believing God and His Word. As the Message Bible says, It’s what we trust in but don’t yet see that keeps us going. Do you suppose a few ruts in the road or rocks in the path are going to stop us? (2 Corinthians 5:7). We are to hold up the shield of faith to stop the fiery arrows of the devil. (Ephesians 6:16 NLT). Circumstances may say “not enough,” but the Word of God says He will supply all of our needs (Philippians 4:19). He is the God of “more than enough!” Let us lay aside every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up, and run with endurance the race God has set before us, looking unto Jesus, the author and finisher of our faith.

Rejoice and exult in hope; be steadfast and patient in suffering and tribulation; be constant in prayer. — Romans 12:12 (AMP) Keep your hope in God alive. We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure. Proverbs 10:28 says, the hope of the righteous will be gladness. As you face various trials, let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing. (James 1:4). And devote yourselves to prayer with an alert mind and a thankful heart (Colossians 4:2 NLT). Instead of a prayer time, have a prayer life. The earnest prayer of a righteous person has great power and produces wonderful results. (James 5:16b)

But as for me, I will sing about your power. Each morning I will sing with joy about your unfailing love. For you have been my refuge, a place of safety when I am in distress. O my Strength, to you I sing praises, for you, O God, are my refuge, the God who shows me unfailing love . — Psalm 59:16-17 (NLT) God shows us His unfailing love as He keeps watch over us through the night, and wakes us up to see a brand new day, with fresh new mercies and compassion. Trust Him to help you get through whatever comes your way each day, for His unfailing love never ceases. Count on His unfailing love to lead you along the path of life, and keep you from stumbling. Surely His goodness and unfailing love will pursue you all the days of your life, and you will live in the house of the LORD forever (Psalm 23:6). Hallelujah! (Now that's something to sing about.)

It is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and they are life. — John 6:63 (NKJV) When will we, the church, take a stand for Jesus? If not now , then when? Let us stop consulting our flesh about how we "feel" instead of just saying "Yes!" to the Lord. Yes, I will go to church. Yes, I will pay my tithe. Yes, I will tell others about Jesus. Yes, I will love my neighbor as I love myself. Yes I will forgive. For if you live according to the flesh you will die; but if by the Spirit you put to death the deeds of the body, you will live. For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God (Romans 8:13-14, NKJV). Amen!

Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken. — Psalm 62:5-6 (NIV) Put your hope in the LORD, now and forevermore, for with the LORD is unfailing love and with him is full redemption (Psalm 130:7; 131:3). Find rest for your soul, in God alone. Those who hope in the living God will not be disappointed (Isaiah 49:23). Rest securely, in the arms of our heavenly Father, knowing that your hope will not be cut off (Proverbs 23:18). Be strong and take heart. The LORD will renew your strength.

I will praise the LORD, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me. I keep my eyes always on the LORD. With him at my right hand, I will not be shaken. Psalm 16:7-8 (NIV ) Our heavenly Father guides us with His counsel. Because of His direction we have sound judgment and insight. Seek the wisdom of the LORD and He will make your plans succeed. With Abba Father right beside you, you will not be shaken. Keep looking to the LORD, and His wise counsel.

Listen carefully to wisdom; set your mind on understanding. Cry out for wisdom, and beg for understanding. Search for it like silver, and hunt for it like hidden treasure. Proverbs 2:2-4 (NCV) Let us hunt for wisdom as we would for hidden treasure. May we listen carefully to wisdom and set our minds on gaining understanding. Proverbs 2:10-11, NLT tells us, wisdom will enter our hearts, and knowledge will fill us with joy. Wise choices will watch over us and understanding will keep us safe. Amen.

"Sacrifice thank offerings to God,  fulfill your vows to the Most High, and call upon me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor me." Psalm 50:14-15 (NIV) When you face difficulties of any kind, call upon God. The world and all that is in it belongs to Him. He is mighty and able to deliver you from all your troubles.
