Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, but a good (encouraging) word makes it glad. — Proverbs 12:25 (AMP) If you are anxious about anything, God’s Word is has a good encouraging word just for you. Here a just a few: If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. —1 John 1:9 (NKJV) He shows mercy from generation to generation to all who fear him. —Luke 1:50 (NLT) The faithful love of the LORD never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning. I say to myself, “The LORD is my inheritance; therefore, I will hope in him!” —Lamentations 3:22-24 (NLT) The LORD will always lead you. He will satisfy your needs in dry lands and give strength to your bones. Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, but a good word makes it glad. — Proverbs 12:25 (NKJV) Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down (Proverbs 12:25a AMP), and the good word that makes it glad is God’s Word. Philippians 4:6-7 (AMP) says, do not be anxious or worried about anything, but in everything [every circumstance and situation] by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, continue to make your [specific] requests known to God. And the peace of God [that peace which reassures the heart, that peace] which transcends all understanding, [that peace which] stands guard over your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus [is yours].

Remember Me

And please remember me and do me a favor when things go well for you. Mention me to Pharaoh, so he might let me out of this place. — Genesis 40:14 (NLT) Joseph asked the chief butler to put in a good word for him to Pharaoh, however, the chief butler did not remember Joseph but forgot him (Genesis 40:23). However, God did not forget about Joseph and in due time, He exalted him over all the land of Egypt. (Genesis 41:41). Sometimes we try to make the right connections and orchestrate special favors, but may we realize the ultimate hook-up comes from God alone. It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man (Psalm 118:8 NKJV). God has plans for you that are good and He will direct your steps. (Proverbs 16:9). No matter where you are today, God remembers you and He is working for your good.
