He brought me to the banqueting house, and his banner over me was love. — Song of Solomon 2:4 (NKJV) In Exodus 17:15 (NLT), Moses built an altar there and named it Yahweh-Nissi (which means “the LORD is my banner”). His banner over us is one of love and victory. God gives us victory over the world, our flesh and the devil. Now thanks be to God who always leads us in triumph in Christ, and through us diffuses the fragrance of His knowledge in every place. (2 Corinthians 2:14 NKJV) You have set up a banner for those who fear You [with awe-inspired reverence and submissive wonder—a banner to shield them from attack], a banner that may be displayed because of the truth. Selah. (Psalms 60:4 AMP)  His banner over us is a banner of deliverance and salvation. In that day the heir to David’s throne will be a banner of salvation to all the world. The nations will rally to him, and the land where he lives will be a glorious place. (Isaiah 11:10 NLT)

“Make thankfulness your sacrifice to God, and keep the vows you made to the Most High.” — Psalms 50:14 (NLT) In Psalms 50:23 (NLT), GOD says: “…giving thanks is a sacrifice that truly honors me. If you keep to my path, I will reveal to you the salvation of God.” It is good to give thanks to Yahweh and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; (Psalms 92:1 LSB) Therefore I will give thanks to You among the nations, O Yahweh, and I will sing praises to Your name. (Psalms 18:49 LSB) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! Make me know Your ways, O Yahweh; Teach me Your paths. He will show you the path of life; in His presen ce is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore. Though the fig tree does not blossom and there is no fruit on the vines, though the yield of the olive fails and the fields produce no food, though the flock is cut off from the fold and there are no cattle in the stalls, yet I will [choose to] rejoice in the LORD;
I will [choose to] shout in exultation in the [victorious] God of my salvation! — Habakkuk 3:17-18 (AMP) When you are down to nothing, know that Yahweh is up to something. When it seems that nothing is working, remember our great and mighty God has already worked everything out concerning you. His lovingkindness never fails. In the face of lack, keep in mind that we serve a God of abundance and overflow (more than enough). Habakkuk 2:4 (AMP) reminds us that the righteous will live by his faith [in the true God]. So no matter how circumstances may appear, believers can choose to rejoice in Yahweh and know that He is faithful to provide for His children. Our joy is not in the provision, but in the Provider.

Don’t let the excitement of youth cause you to forget your Creator. Honor him in your youth before you grow old and say, “Life is not pleasant anymore.” Yes, remember your Creator now while you are young, before the silver cord of life snaps and the golden bowl is broken. Don’t wait until the water jar is smashed at the spring and the pulley is broken at the well. — Ecclesiastes 12:1, 12:6 (NLT) Whatever your current age, it’s never too late to earnestly remember your Creator. Second Corinthians 6:2 (NKJV) says: Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation. Don’t be like those who instead of worshiping the glorious, ever-living God, they worshiped idols made to look like mere people and birds and animals and reptiles. They traded the truth about God for a lie. So they worshiped and served the things God created instead of the Creator himself, who is worthy of eternal praise! Amen. Selah. — Psalms 68:19 (LSB) In 2 Corinthians 1:8-9, the apostle Paul says, they were burdened excessively, beyond their strength, so that they despaired even to live, but he says they learned not to trust in themselves, but in God who raises the dead. Are you weighed down with heavy burdens or overwhelmed by troubles? Cast your burden upon Yahweh and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. (Psalms 55:22 LSB) We can trust Him in any and all situations and circumstances. The righteous cry, and Yahweh hears and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. — Psalms 34:17-18 (LSB)

“He will be your constant source of stability in changing times, and out of his abundant love he gives you the riches of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. Yes, the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure!” — Isaiah 33:6 (TPT)

 The conditions and state of this world consistently fluctuate. However, Yahweh is the One constant. In Malachi 3:6 (LSB) He says: “I, Yahweh, do not change;” Our Everlasting God remains the same, and He shows no partiality. He is a good, good Father. In His abundant love, He always takes care of His children. Return to your rest, O my soul, for Yahweh has dealt bountifully with you. For You have rescued my soul from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. I shall walk before Yahweh in the land of the living. (Psalms 116:7-9 LSB)  I have set Yahweh continually before me; Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken. — Psalms 16:8 (LSB)

For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ, for it is the power of God to salvation for everyone who believes, for the Jew first and also for the Greek. Through our faith, the mighty power of God constantly guards us until our full salvation is ready to be revealed in the last time. May the thought of this cause you to jump for joy, even though lately you’ve had to put up with the grief of many trials. — 1 Peter 1:5-6 (TPT) We can jump for joy because our present troubles are small and won’t last very long. Yet they produce for us a glory that vastly outweighs them and will last forever! So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (See James 1:17) He has clothed us with the garments of salvation and covered us with the robe of righteousness. (See Isaiah 61:10 NKJV) He has loved His people, with an everlasting love. He makes me as surefooted as a deer, able to tread upon the heights. — Habakkuk 3:17-19 (NLT) In the worst moments of our lives, we can still worship our Heavenly Father and rejoice in His Presence. Keep the faith, no matter what the circumstance. Our mighty God is a God of restoration. He will restore what the locusts have eaten. Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. Be prepared. You’re up against far more than you can handle on your own. Take all the help you can get, every weapon God has issued, so that when it’s all over but the shouting you’ll still be on your feet. Truth, righteousness, peace, faith, and salvation are more than words. Learn how to apply them. You’ll need them throughout your life. God’s Word is an indispensable weapon. In the same way, prayer is essential in this ongoing warfare. Pray hard and long. Pray for your brothers and sisters. Keep your eyes open. Keep each other’s spirits up so that no one falls behind or drops out. — Ephesians 6:13-18 (MSG) When we clothe ourselves with the full armor of God, we are prepared and protected. Amen!
