Manna for Your Morning

But Mary treasured up all these things and pondered them in her heart. — Luke 2:19 (NIV) Mary pondered the words that were prophesied about her Son. When we ponder something we continually think about it. The thought just keeps grabbing our attention, until it gets deep into our heart. Some of us ponder the negative things others have spoken to us. Others ponder people and why they said or did something to us. Let all of that go. If it didn’t kill you, it made you stronger and better. Let us treasure all the awesome words our heavenly Father has spoken to us through His wonderful Word. Ponder all the promises He has spoken to you and know that He is a Promise Keeper. Not one of all the LORD’s good promises to Israel failed; every one was fulfilled. (Joshua 21:45 NIV). Just as He did for Israel, He will do for you. Ponder that!

In that day a man will look to his Maker, and his eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel.  — Isaiah 17:7 (NKJV) Let today be the day, you consider the One who made you, your Creator. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker (Psalm 95:6). Hold the Holy One of Israel in high regard and consider the things of this world as rubbish. Our Heavenly Father loves us with an everlasting love. We are His treasured possession and He takes great delight in us!

Psalm 139:15-16 (The Message) God knit you together in your mother’s womb. Like the Master potter, He sculpted you into a unique creation. You are fearfully and wonderfully made. Absolutely beautiful, in the eyes of your Creator. You are a beloved and highly treasured child of God. Our heavenly Father prepared each day of your life and recorded them in His book, before a single day had passed. God has special plans for your life, plans to give you a future filled with hope and peace. Only you can fulfill the purpose for which God created you. Persevere and pursue the passions of your heart.
