As we move in the Lord, the perfect timing of God unfolds, right connections are made and divine appointments take place. When we actually have our being in Jesus, we surrender all and submit to Him as the Master of our lives. In our Lord and Savior, we are able to become the person our heavenly Father created us to be. Work at living in peace with everyone, and work at living a holy life, for those who are not holy will not see the Lord. — Hebrews 12:14 (NLT) So prepare your minds for action and exercise self-control. Put all your hope in the gracious salvation that will come to you when Jesus Christ is revealed to the world. So you must live as God’s obedient children. Don’t slip back into your old ways of living to satisfy your own desires. You didn’t know any better then. But now you must be holy in everything you do, just as God who chose you is holy. Be confident that whatever difficulties come your way today, He is well able to handle them. He is higher than any mountain, and more powerful than the waves of adversity. The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in and puts his confidence in the LORD will be exalted and safe. — Proverbs 29:25  (AMP) Giving more weight to what people say or think about us, than we give to the Word of God, is a snare: a trap or a pitfall. The Message Bibles says, “The fear of human opinion disables; trusting in God protects you from that.” (Proverbs 29:25 ) As long as we are more concerned with what people say, than what God says, we will be disabled from fulfilling God’s purpose and plan for our lives. Close your ear to the opinion of people and keep your ear open to the voice of God. His Word will build you up and strengthen you. Trust Him and keep your confidence in Him always. For this is contained in Scripture: “Behold, I lay in Zion a choice stone, a precious corner stone, and he who believes in Him will not be disappointed.” (1 Peter 2:6 NASB)

The people who sat in darkness have seen a great light, and upon those who sat in the region and shadow of death Light has dawned.” — Matthew 4:16 (NKJV) Just reflecting this morning on how grateful I am that God brought me out of the darkness and into His marvelous light. For He has rescued us and has drawn us to Himself from the dominion of darkness, and has transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, (Colossians 1:13 AMP) What a privilege for us that God took us out of the domain of darkness, brought us into His Kingdom and adopted us into His family, to enjoy fellowship with Him and our wonderful Savior, Jesus. You groped your way through that murk once, but no longer. You’re out in the open now. The bright light of Christ makes your way plain. So no more stumbling around. So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. — 2 Corinthians 4:16 (MSG) No matter what difficulties you may be facing, do not lose heart. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory (2 Corinthians 4:17, NKJV). His grace unfolds in our lives each and every day. Yesterday’s shortcomings are covered by His amazing grace. Each day is new beginning and fresh start as the LORD showers us with new mercies and compassions. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. (Hebrews 4:16 NLT)

“I called out your name, O God, called from the bottom of the pit. You listened when I called out, ‘Don’t shut your ears! Get me out of here! Save me!’ You came close when I called out. You said, ‘It’s going to be all right.’ — Lamentations 3:55-57 (MSG) No matter how low you go, its never to late to call upon the LORD. When you call out,  He hears your voice and draws near. When you're at rock bottom, He will lift you out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire (Psalm 40:2 NLT). The LORD is good to those who wait for Him, to the soul who seeks Him (Lamentations 3:25 NKJV).

Give us help from trouble, for the help of man is useless. Through God we will do valiantly, for it is He who shall tread down our enemies. — Psalm 108:12-13 (NKJV) When trouble strikes, whom do you seek first, mom or dad, a friend, your pastor? Let God be the first One you run to for help. Human help is limited, but God knows the whole story and He holds the power for your deliverance. God tells us to cast all our cares upon Him. With God we gain the victory, for it is He, who will trample down our adversaries. The battle has already been won by the blood of Jesus. We are just walking it out. Amen!

And my God shall supply all your need according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:19 (NKJV) Let the peace of God rule in your mind and His exceedingly great joy overflow from your heart at all times, knowing that God will meet all your needs, from His glorious riches, not the lack you see in your own resources. And remember that when God says all your needs, He means ALL . He will supply your every need, in every area of life, spiritual, physical, financial, emotional, etc. He will take care of it all. The Amplified version says, God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need. Cast all your cares on Him today!

Before the creation of the world, he chose us through Christ to be holy and perfect in his presence. Because of his love he had already decided to adopt us through Jesus Christ. He freely chose to do this...  — Ephesians 1:4-5 (GW) Long before the foundation of the earth was laid, God chose you. Because of the GREAT LOVE He has for you (insert your name), He decided to adopt you and bring you into His family. You are a child of the King of glory, and all of His precious promises are for you! The Creator of the universe and all it contains, calls you by name and wants you in His Presence. He wants you to dine at the table with Jesus. Wow! Thank God for all of His loving thoughts toward you.

May the peoples praise you, God; may all the peoples praise you. May the nations be glad and sing for joy, for you rule the peoples with equity and guide the nations of the earth. Psalm 67:3-4 (NIV) Be glad and sing for joy because Jesus has the victory! The kingdoms of this world will become the kingdoms of our God and He will rule forever and ever. Every knee will bow before Him and every tongue will acknowledge God (Romans 14:11). He will proclaim peace to the nations. His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the River to the ends of the earth (Zechariah 9:10). The Lord will judge the people fairly and guide the people of the whole world. Glory Hallelujah!

Give ear to my words, O LORD, Consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, And I will look up. Psalm 5:1-3 (NKJ) Feeling down? Look up. Your help comes from the LORD, on high. Direct your prayers to the King each morning. Meditate on His goodness. Lay your requests before Him and patiently wait in full expectation that God hears your voice and will send an answer.

And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus. Ephesians 2:6-7 (NIV)  Nothing compares to the richness of God's grace. Grace is a gift of God, not something we gain by works. By His grace we are SAVED. We approach the throne of grace and receive help in our time of need (Hebrews 4:16). Those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and the gift of righteousness will REIGN IN LIFE (Romans 5:17). Praise God, we are not under the law, but under grace.
