No Favoritism

Image
Peter said, “Now I know for certain that God doesn’t show favoritism with people but treats everyone on the same basis. It makes no difference what race of people one belongs to. If they show deep reverence for God, and are committed to doing what’s right, they are acceptable before him.” — Acts 10:34-35 (TPT) My fellow believers, do not practice your faith in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ with an attitude of partiality [toward people—show no favoritism, no prejudice, no snobbery]. (James 2:1 AMP) Let us be like our Heavenly Father and not show partiality to any person. Praise the LORD! (Hallelujah!) Blessed [fortunate, prosperous, and favored by God] is the man who fears the LORD [with awe-inspired reverence and worships Him with obedience], who delights greatly in His commandments. (Psalms 112:1 AMP) God blesses us, and all the ends of the earth shall fear Him [with awe-inspired reverence and submissive wonder]. Live in His Kingdom

Image
For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. — Romans 14:17 (NLT) When we do what is right, pursue peace with all people, and maintain our joy, we are living a Kingdom life. Let us depart from evil, and do good and we will dwell forevermore. (Psalm 37:27 NKJV) Psalm 106:3 says, blessed are those who keep justice, and he who does righteousness at all times! He who sows righteousness will have a sure reward. (Proverbs 11:18) Those who dwell in His Kingdom work at living in peace with everyone (Hebrews 12:14 NLT). It doesn’t say it’s going to be easy. It is going to require some work. And the 3rd key to living a kingdom life is to rejoice always and delight in your faith; (1 Thessalonians 5:16 AMP) May we abide in the kingdom of God. His Way is much better and way more beneficial than the ways of this world.

Right on Target!

You are right and you do right, God; your decisions are right on target. You rightly instruct us in how to live ever faithful to you. — Psalm 119:137-138 (MSG) Let the peace of Christ [the inner calm of one who walks daily with Him] be the controlling factor in your hearts [deciding and settling questions that arise]. To this peace indeed you were called as members in one body [of believers]. And be thankful [to God always]. (Colossians 3:15 AMP) When we are led by the Spirit of God who dwells within us, we will have the peace of God and we will hit the mark every time. Trust God from the bottom of your heart; don’t try to figure out everything on your own. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. (Proverbs 3:5-7 MSG)
