First, he knew that his Redeemer was alive. Second, he believed that God will stand on the earth, in the end. And third, he was certain he would see God with his own eyes. Job called God his Redeemer. He had a personal relationship with Yahweh. We too need to have a personal one-on-one relationship with Yahweh, through His Son, Yeshua, the Messiah. No one comes to the Father but through Him. (See John 14:6) Don’t just be familiar with Him, through what your parents or your pastor says about Him. In Psalms 46:10 (NKJV) Yahweh says: “Be...

As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people from this time forth and forever. — Psalm 125:2 (NASB) People may desert you, but the Lord will stand with you and give you strength. In His Presence, there is wonder-working power. We are empowered to complete the assignment He has given to each one of us. In His Presence, we have peace, protection and fullness of joy. For the Lord your God is living among you. He is a mighty savior. He will take delight in you with gladness. With his love, he will calm all your fears. He will rejoice over you with joyful songs.” (Zephaniah 3:17 NLT) Faithfully stand with the Lord, as He stands with you.

For who is God except the LORD? Who but our God is a solid rock? God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. He makes me as surefooted as a deer, enabling me to stand on mountain heights. — Psalm 18:31-33 (NLT) The LORD trains my hands for battle; He strengthens my arm to draw a bronze bow. He has given me His shield of victory. His right hand supports me; His help has made me great. (Psalm 18:34-35) I’m singing joyful praise to God. I’m turning cartwheels of joy to my Savior God. Counting on God’s Rule to prevail, I take heart and gain strength. I run like a deer. I feel like I’m king of the mountain! (Habakkuk 3:18-19 MSG) Hallelujah and Amen!

For even though I am absent [from you] in body, nevertheless I am with you in spirit, delighted to see your good discipline [as you stand shoulder to shoulder and form a solid front] and to see the stability of your faith in Christ [your steadfast reliance on Him and your unwavering confidence in His power, wisdom, and goodness].  — Colossians 2:5 (AMP) We can stand stable in our faith because the LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. (Psalm 25:8 NLT) The LORD is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works. (Psalm 145:9 NASB) Be confident that you will see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living. (Psalm 27:13)

Be sober [well balanced and self-disciplined], be alert and cautious at all times. That enemy of yours, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion [fiercely hungry], seeking someone to devour. — 1 Peter 5:8 (AMP) Be alert at all times. In Revelation 12:17, the devil declared war with those who keep the commandments of God and hold fast to the testimony of Jesus. Our enemy does not take breaks and he doesn't go on vacation. He continually prowls around, seeking someone to devour. Take a decisive stand against him and resist his every attack with strong, vigorous faith. For you know that your believing brothers and sisters around the world are experiencing the same kinds of troubles you endure. (1 Peter 5:9 TPT)

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. — Revelation 3:20 (NASB) Jesus is continually knocking. Pay attention and have ears to hear His call. Open the door of your heart and invite Him in. Dine with the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He wants to bring healing and wholeness to every part of our hearts and every area of our lives. May we partake of the living Bread. In John 6:48 (AMP), Jesus said: “I am the Bread of Life [the Living Bread which gives and sustains life].” Let the Living Water satisfy your soul. In John 7:37 (NLT) Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me!” “Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” (John 7:38 NLT) You spread out a table before me, provisions in the midst of attack from my enemies; You care for all my needs, anointing my h...

“Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away.” — Luke 21:33 (NKJV) Don’t be shaken by temporary events or circumstances. They will come and they will also go. May we stand on the powerful Word of God, which will last forever. The Words Jesus spoke will never wear out. In Mark 10:27, Jesus said, “… with God all things are possible .” No matter how impossible the situation may seem, let us remember that ALL things are possible with God. Stay with God and keep standing in faith, no matter what. Believe God for the best. As Jesus hung on the cross, He said, “ It is finished! ” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit. (John 19:30) Jesus overcame the world. (John 16:33) He has already given us the victory. He made a way for us. God always leads us in triumph in Christ. (2 Corinthians 2:14) The Message Bible says: In the Messiah, in Christ, God leads us from place to place in one perpetual victory parade. (2 Corinthians 2:14) Amen! And Hallelujah!

But Jesus knew their thoughts, and said to them: “Every kingdom divided against itself is brought to desolation, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand. — Matthew 12:25 (NKJV) If America (or any other country), doesn’t come together in unity we will fall. It all starts with the Church, the body of Christ. Believers are to unite in a bond of brotherhood, coming together under the banner of Jesus, as citizens of God’s kingdom. When others dish out hate we are to pile on love. Hatred stirs up strife, but love covers all transgressions. (Proverbs 10:12 NASB) Let us pursue peace with all people, and holiness, without which no one will see the Lord (Hebrews 12:14). James 3:9-10 (NLT) has this to say about the tongue: Sometimes it praises our Lord and Father, and sometimes it curses those who have been made in the image of God. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort. (1 Corinthians 15:58 MSG) God will cause you to be fruitful in the land of your affliction.

When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. — Isaiah 43:2 (NLT) No matter how severe the storm, we have a SAVIOR who is stronger and greater. And He is with you. With our mighty God on your side, what can stand against you? In The Message Bible He says, “ When you’re in over your head, I’ll be there with you. When you’re in rough waters, you will not go down. When you’re between a rock and a hard place, it won’t be a dead end— Because I am God, your personal God, The Holy of Israel, your Savior.”  (Isaiah 43:2 MSG)

“But be doers of the word, and not hearers only...” — James‬ ‭1:22‬ ‭(NKJV) ‬‬ After we hear the Word, may we apply it to what we do and who we are. In Matthew 7:24 (MSG), Jesus says, “These words I speak to you are not incidental additions to your life, homeowner improvements to your standard of living. They are foundational words, words to build a life on.“ When the Word of God is the foundation of our lives, what is built will withstand the storms of life. “”Therefore whoever hears these sayings of Mine, and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it did not fall, for it was founded on the rock. “But everyone who hears these sayings of Mine, and does not do them, will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand: and the rain descended, the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house; and it fell. I will climb up to my watchtower and stand at my guardpost. There I will wait to see what the LORD says and how he will answer my complaint. — Habakkuk 2:1 (NLT) Instead of getting anxious and fearful in response to a bad report from the enemy, look with eyes of faith to our heavenly Father. We can fully enjoy His Presence and remain in His peace, as we fully rely on the LORD. He will keep in perfect peace, all whose mind is stayed upon Him. So now, take your stand and see the great things which the LORD will do before your eyes. Because You have been my help, therefore in the shadow of Your wings I will rejoice. My soul follows close behind You; Your right hand upholds me. (Psalm 63:7-8 NKJV) We can rejoice knowing that with God on our side, nothing can stand against us.

Now when the sixth hour had come, there was darkness over the whole land until the ninth hour. And at the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” which is translated, “My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me?” — Mark 15:33-34  (NKJV) Just as Jesus had to go through the dark hour of Friday, to get to the glory of resurrection day, we too will go through some dark times, as we go from glory to glory. In the difficult seasons, it may seem that God has forsaken you, but know that He is with you and He has already made a way for you. Let us declare the words of Job 19:25-26,  “ For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; and after my skin is destroyed, this I know, that in my flesh I shall see God! ”

Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and dine with him, and he with Me. — Revelation 3:20 (NKJV) May your ears be open to hear. Jesus is calling your name. If you hear His voice, open the door of your heart and let Him in and give Him full access. Don't just confine Him to a closet that only gets opened on Sunday morning. Welcome Him into every crevice, every area of your life. He will cleanse it with His blood and fill it with His amazing love. A deep sense of peace will settle over your heart, mind and soul. Is the door of your heart open to receive Him? Do you allow Him access to every room on a daily basis?

They will fight against you, but they will not [ultimately] prevail over you, for I am with you [always] to protect you and deliver you,” says the LORD. — Jeremiah 1:19 (AMP) The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? (Psalm 118:6) When the enemy comes in like a flood, The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him. (Isaiah 59:19b) With us is the LORD our God, to help us and to fight our battles. The battle belongs to the LORD and He has already won. Hallelujah and amen! Be strong and of good courage; do not fear nor be dismayed, for the LORD God is with you.

The LORD is on my side; I will not fear. What can man do to me? — Psalm 118:6 (NKJV) LORD Almighty, blessed is the one who trusts in you (Psalm 84:12 NIV). It is better to trust in the LORD than to put confidence in man (Psalm 118:8 NKJV). Fear of man will prove to be a snare, but whoever trusts in the LORD is kept safe (Proverbs 29:25 NIV). The Lord Is faithful. When all others forsake you, the Lord will stand with you and strengthen you, as He did the Apostle Paul, in 2 Timothy 4:16-17. With God on your side, who can stand against you? Trust in the LORD always, for the LORD God is the eternal Rock. (Isaiah 26:4 NLT)

For I know that my Redeemer lives, and He shall stand at last on the earth; Whom I shall see for myself, and my eyes shall behold, and not another. How my heart yearns within me! — Job 19:25, 27 (NKJV) Job was in the midst of extraordinary pain and suffering. His wife was not supportive and his friends were critical and judgemental, but he persevered and clung to his faith in God. No matter what season of life you are going through, know that your Redeemer lives. He redeems your life from destruction, and crowns you with lovingkindness and tender mercies (Psalm 103:4) You have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous (1 John 2:1). He pleaded the case for your soul; He has redeemed your life. (Lamentations 3:58)

The angel went to her and said, “Greetings, you who are highly favored! The Lord is with you.” — Luke 1:28 NIV The angel came and told Mary that the Holy Spirit will come upon her and she would conceive and bring forth a Son, and call His name Jesus. (Luke 1:31-35) Then Mary said, “Behold the maidservant of the Lord! Let it be to me according to your word.” (Luke 1:38a NKJV) Let us have the same mindset as Mary and say, “let it be to me according to Your Word” God has spoken so many precious promises over us in His Word. Like Mary, may we believe His Word is for us. No matter what others may say about us, let us continue to stand on God's Word and what He says about us. His word does not return to Him void. It accomplishes what He pleases, and prospers in the thing for which He sent it. (Isaiah 55:11) As a child of God, you are blessed and highly favored and the Lord is with you too!

…and you have persevered and have patience, and have labored for My name’s sake and have not become weary. — Revelation 2:3 (NKJV) The dictionary says persevere means to continue in a course of action even in the face of difficulty or with little or no prospect of success. No matter how things may appear at this moment in time, we need to persevere. Let us always stand on God’s Word, persist in prayer and continually thank and praise God for victory and success in every area of our lives. Take the old prophets as your mentors. They put up with anything, went through everything, and never once quit, all the time honoring God. What a gift life is to those who stay the course! You’ve heard, of course, of Job’s staying power, and you know how God brought it all together for him at the end. That’s because God cares, cares right down to the last detail. (James 5:10-11 MSG)

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. — Ephesians 3:16 (NLT) When we open the door of our hearts and invite Him in, Christ lives in us, and His unlimited resources are available to us. We are empowered to do what God has called us to do and fight the good fight of faith. He gives us inner strength to stand on His Word, speak His Word and walk in victory. His Spirit dwelling in us completes those areas of our weaknesses. He fills in the gaps and brings about a fullness of joy, peace and love. It’s not about the skills and abilities we possess, but about the goodness and grace of God and His Spirit that is at work in us. When we go in the abundant strength and mighty power the LORD provides, we overcome and conquer all. No matter how big the mountain before us, our God is bigger.
