More Worship & Less Worry

Image
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) Cast your burden upon Yahweh and He will sustain you; He will never allow the righteous to be shaken. (Psalms 55:22 LSB) What we give our attention to magnifies. Let us spend more time praising our great GOD than we do talking about what the enemy is doing. Proverbs 19:21 (NLT) says: You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail. No matter what the enemy is planning the battle still belongs to Yahweh and Yeshua has already won the victory. O magnify Yahweh with me, and let us exalt His name together. (Psalms 34:3 LSB) He will keep in perfect peace all who trust in Him, all whose thoughts are fixed on Him! (See Isaiah 26:3 NLT)

The Strength of My Heart

Image
Nevertheless I am continually with You; You have taken hold of my right hand. With Your counsel You will guide me, and afterward receive me to glory. Whom have I in heaven but You? And besides You, I desire nothing on earth. My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever. — Psalm 73:23-26 (NASB1995) Blessed is the man whose strength is in You. It is good for me to draw near to God. For You are only my hope, O Lord GOD; You are my trust from my youth. By You I have been upheld from birth; You are He who took me out of my mother’s womb. My praise shall be continually of You. I have become as a wonder to many, but You are my strong refuge. Let my mouth be filled with Your praise and with Your glory all the day. (See Psalms 84:5, 71:5-8, 73:28) “…I’ll keep coming closer and closer to you, Lord YAHWEH, for your name is good to me. I’ll keep telling the world of your awesome works, my faithful and glorious God!” — Psalms 73:28 (TPT)

Call to Him

Image
From the end of the earth I call to You, when my heart is overwhelmed and weak; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I [a rock that is too high to reach without Your help]. For You have been a shelter and a refuge for me, a strong tower against the enemy. Let me dwell in Your tent forever; Let me take refuge in the shelter of Your wings. Selah. — Psalm 61:2-4 (AMP) Call upon Yahweh. His ear is attentive to the voice of our supplications and He is faithful to answer. He will help you and strengthen you. Our mighty God is an impenetrable fortress to our enemies. Take refuge in Him at all times.

The King of Glory

Image
Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is the King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift them up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is this King of glory? The LORD of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah. — Psalm 24:7-10 (NASB1995) The LORD is the King of glory who rules over all creation with His heavenly armies. (See Psalm 24:10 AMP) In Exodus 3:14, God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM” He is the great I AM (Yah). Yahweh (YHWH) is His name. He is the Self-Existent One and all that we need. He is Jehovah-Rohi, the Lord our Shepherd. He is Jehovah-Shalom who keeps in perfect peace all who trust in Him, all whose thoughts are fixed on Him! (See Isaiah 26:3 NLT) He is Jehovah-Rapha the Lord who heals. He is Jehovah-Shammah, our ever-present God. He will never leave us nor forsake us. Open your heart to Him today. And be led with His Holy ...

Run For It!

Image
So don’t sit around on your hands! No more dragging your feet! Clear the path for long-distance runners so no one will trip and fall, so no one will step in a hole and sprain an ankle. Help each other out. And run for it!” — Hebrews 12:12-13 (MSG) So since we stand surrounded by all those who have gone before, an enormous cloud of witnesses, let us drop every extra weight, every sin that clings to us and slackens our pace, and let us run with endurance the long race set before us. (Hebrews 12:1 VOICE) It is a long distance race, so let us run with endurance and active persistence, looking away from all that will distract us.  Now stay focused on Jesus, who designed and perfected our faith. He endured the cross and ignored the shame of that death because He focused on the joy that was set before Him; and now He is seated beside God on the throne, a place of honor. (Hebrews 12:2 VOICE) Stay focused on the future joy that is to be ours.

Delight in the LORD

Image
Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God, and you will dwell in the land, feasting on his faithfulness. Find your delight and true pleasure in Yahweh, and he will give you what you desire the most. — Psalm 37:3-4 (TPT) Whenever my busy thoughts were out of control, the soothing comfort of your presence calmed me down and overwhelmed me with delight. (Psalm 94:19 TPT)  May we delight ourselves in the Presence of our great God. He will never leave us nor forsake us. In His Presence we experience true joy and pleasures forever. “What delight comes to you when you wait upon the Lord! For you will find what you long for.” — Matthew 5:4  (TPT)

Constant Source of Stability

Image
He will be your constant source of stability in changing times, and out of his abundant love he gives you the riches of salvation, wisdom, and knowledge. Yes, the fear of the Lord is the key to this treasure! — Isaiah 33:6 (TPT) In a constantly changing world, the LORD will be our constant source of security and the stability of our times. The Voice Bible says: God will be what holds things together, fast and firm during these times… (Isaiah 33:6a). He will hold our families together. He will hold His church together. It is key to fear, reverence and honor the Lord, our God. In the fear of the LORD there is strong confidence... (Proverbs 14:26a NASB) Fix your thoughts upon the LORD. Lord, You have been our dwelling place [our refuge, our sanctuary, our stability] in all generations. — Psalm 90:1 (AMP)

Power Within

Image
My fellow believers, when it seems as though you are facing nothing but difficulties see it as an invaluable opportunity to experience the greatest joy that you can! For you know that when your faith is tested it stirs up power within you to endure all things. And then as your endurance grows even stronger it will release perfection into every part of your being until there is nothing missing and nothing lacking. — James 1:2-4 (TPT) Consider opposition an opportunity for great joy (James 1:2 NLT). Difficulties test our faith and stirs up power within us. Rely on the power of God within you to get you through the difficulties and onto your destiny. Don't let your dreams die when disaster strikes. God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble. (Psalm 46:1 NLT) Nothing is too difficult for Him.

Now is the Time

Image
‘Plant the good seeds of righteousness, and you will harvest a crop of love. Plow up the hard ground of your hearts, for now is the time to seek the LORD, that he may come and shower righteousness upon you.’ — Hosea 10:12 (NLT) Indeed, the “right time” is now. Today is the day of salvation. (2 Corinthians 6:2) Instead of setting your heart on worldly events, set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God. (1 Chronicles 22:19)  For it is time to seek and search diligently for the LORD and long for His blessing (Hosea 10:12 AMP). And if you search for Him with all your heart and soul, you will find Him. Seek the LORD and live… (Amos 5:6). Those who seek the LORD shall not lack any good thing. (Psalm 34:10b) Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD! Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore! (1 Chronicles 16:10-11 NKJV) The time is now!  Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near! (Isaiah 55:6...

Christ in You

Image
Remember, our Message is not about ourselves; we’re proclaiming Jesus Christ, the Master. All we are is messengers, errand runners from Jesus for you. It started when God said, “Light up the darkness!” and our lives filled up with light as we saw and understood God in the face of Christ, all bright and beautiful. — 2 Corinthians 4:5-6 (MSG) This mystery has been kept in the dark for a long time, but now it’s out in the open. God wanted everyone, not just Jews, to know this rich and glorious secret inside and out, regardless of their background, regardless of their religious standing. The mystery in a nutshell is just this: Christ is in you, so therefore you can look forward to sharing in God’s glory. It’s that simple (Colossians 1:26-27 MSG). Christ is the chief cornerstone and He lives in you. This gives you the hope and guarantee of sharing His glory.

Run to Win!

Image
Don’t you realize that in a race everyone runs, but only one person gets the prize? So run to win! All athletes are disciplined in their training. They do it to win a prize that will fade away, but we do it for an eternal prize. — 1 Corinthians 9:24-25 (NLT) All serious athletes, train hard and consistently. Let us run our race with perseverance, keeping our eyes on the prize, not allowing the hurdles of life to be a stumbling block. Press on to reach the end of the race and receive the heavenly prize for which God, through Christ Jesus, is calling us (Philippians 3:14, NLT). Let us run with endurance and active persistence the race that is set before us, [looking away from all that will distract us and] focusing our eyes on Jesus… (Hebrews 12:1-2, AMP)

Look to Your Maker

Image
In that day a man will look to his Maker, and his eyes will have respect for the Holy One of Israel. — Isaiah 17:7 (NKJV) When you are overwhelmed by life’s circumstances, look to your Maker. The LORD displays his power in the whirlwind and the storm (Nahum 1:3 NLT). Let this be the day, you look to your Maker and give pre-eminence to Christ, our Savior. Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care (Psalm 95:6-7 NLT).

In a Dry & Weary Land

Image
O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, i n a dry and weary land where there is no water. Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory. Because Your lovingkindness is better than life, my lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name.  — Psalm 63:1-4 (NAS) In a dry and weary land, earnestly seek the LORD. Hunger and thirst for Him and you shall be satisfied and fulfilled. Draw from His living spring of unlimited power and strength. Because His lovingkindness is better than life itself, let your lips praise Him as long as you live! In His generous love we really find life and life more abundantly.

Our Every Need

And my God will liberally supply (fill to the full) your every need according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:19 (AMP) Cast the whole of your care [all your anxieties, all your worries, all your concerns, once and for all] on Him, for He cares for you affectionately and cares about you watchfully (1 Peter 5:7, AMP). We can give all our worries and cares to God because He cares and He is faithful to supply our every need. He is the God of more than enough. Amen!

Remain Solidly Committed!

Barnabas was sent to Antioch. When he arrived there, he was pleased to see what God had done for them out of kindness. So he encouraged all the people to remain solidly committed to the Lord. — Acts 11:22-23 (GW) It is the work of the enemy to distort the truth about the way the Lord wants people to live (Acts 13:10). I encourage you to continue in your faith, established and firm, without being moved from the solid foundation of Christ Jesus, the Chief Cornerstone. Stay solidly committed, constantly tuned in to the Holy Spirit within, so that you will not be distracted or diverted away from the Lord.

Take Refuge in Him!

O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! O fear the LORD, you His saints; For to those who fear Him there is no want. Psalm 34:8-9 (NAS) The goodness of the LORD is sweeter than honey. His kindness is the most beautiful thing our eyes can look upon. Take refuge in Him and you will experience the wonderful blessings of abiding in His loving Presence. God honors those who truly honor Him, and they lack nothing.

Gain the Victory

Give us aid against the enemy, for the help of man is worthless. With God we will gain the victory, and he will trample down our enemies. Psalm 108:12-13 (NIV) Any help from a human being is limited. Go with God and gain the victory. The LORD is faithful. He is always there and He is mighty to help. Love, Jackie

Christ Accepts You

Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God. Romans 15:7 (NIV) To all who received Jesus, to those who believed in his name, He gave the right to become children of God (John 1:12). Jesus accepts all who call on His name. While those in the world may reject you, Jesus stands like the father of the prodigal son, with His arms always open to receive you unto Himself. Likewise, as followers of Christ we are to accept each other regardless of our differences, so we can glorify God with one heart and mouth (Romans 15:5-6). Love, Jackie
