He Makes a Way

Image
“I am the LORD, your Holy One, the Creator of Israel, your King.” Thus says the LORD, Who makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters, — Isaiah 43:15-16 (NASB1995) Just as He made a way for the Israelites through the wilderness and through the waters, Yahweh still makes a way for His people today. Whatever you are going through today, know that He will show you the way to go. “Because the Sovereign LORD helps me, I will not be disgraced. Therefore, I have set my face like a stone, determined to do his will. And I know that I will not be put to shame.” (Isaiah 50:7 NLT)

He Will Be With You

Image
“When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” — Isaiah 43:2 (NLT)   Even though you walk through the valley of the shadow of death, fear no evil because Yahweh is with you. (See Psalms 23:4) In His mighty Presence is His great power. He is able to bring us through the flood and the fiery trials. He is able to turn our darkness into light and make the crooked places straight. He Himself has said, “I will never leave you nor forsake you.” So we may boldly say: “The LORD is my helper; I will not fear. What can man do to me?” (See Hebrews 13:5-6 NKJV) “Unless the LORD had helped me, I would soon have settled in the silence of the grave. I cried out, “I am slipping!” but your unfailing love, O LORD, supported me.” (Psalms 94:17-18 NLT)  “Whenever my busy thoughts were out of control, the soothing comfort of...

Come

Image
“Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and delight yourself in abundance. Incline your ear and come to Me. Listen, that you may live; And I will make an everlasting covenant with you, according to the faithful mercies shown to David.” — Isaiah 55:2-3 (NASB1995) Yahweh is continually calling us to come to Him. How are we to come? Humbly, with an open heart, ready to let His unfailing love wash away anything that is not of Him - bitterness, unforgiveness, pride, selfishness, etc. Come with open hands, ready to receive all that He so generously gives. Come with an open, teachable mind so it can be renewed with the Word of God. Come with ears that are open to hear His still small voice. We may come wounded and broken but He heals and restores and makes us whole. “Seek Yahweh while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thought...

He Comforts You

Image
“ I, even I, am He who comforts you. Who are you that you are afraid of man who dies and of the son of man who is made like grass, that you have forgotten the LORD your Maker, Who stretched out the heavens and laid the foundations of the earth… ” — Isaiah 51:12-13 (NASB1995) Always remember Elohim, our Creator. Yahweh is a God of patience and comfort. (See Romans 15:5 NKJV) When doubts fill your mind, His comfort will give you renewed hope and cheer. (See Psalm 94:19 NLT) He comforts the downcast. (See 2 Corinthians 7:6 NASB1995) Second Corinthians 1:3 (NKJV) says, He is the Father of mercies and God of all comfort. He comforts us in all our troubles so that we can comfort others. When they are troubled, we will be able to give them the same comfort God has given us. (2 Corinthians 1:4 NLT) If you are in need of comfort, draw near to Yahweh, the very source of all that we need. If you are comforted, share the comfort of our Heavenly Father with someone who needs it. Shout for joy, O he...

Tell Everyone

Image
The heavens proclaim the glory of God. The skies display his craftsmanship. Day after day they continue to speak; night after night they make him known. — Psalm 19:1-2 (NLT) What are you proclaiming? We defeat the enemy by the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of our testimony. (See Revelation 12:11) Let each generation tell its children of your mighty acts; let them proclaim your power. (Psalm 145:4 NLT) O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal. If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them. (Psalm 40:5 NLT) But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign LORD my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do. (Psalm 73:28 NLT) When I see and consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars, which You have established, what is man that You are mindful of him, and the son of [earthborn] man that Y...

Strength

Image
My health may fail, and my spirit may grow weak, but God remains the strength of my heart; he is mine forever. — Psalm 73:26 (NLT) Yahweh arms us with strength for the battle. God is awesome in his sanctuary. The God of Israel gives power and strength to his people. Praise be to God! (Psalm 68:35 NLT) The LORD blesses His people with peace. (See Psalm 29:11 NLT) Search for the LORD and for his strength; continually seek him. (Psalm 105:4 NLT) …in my distress I cried out to you, the delivering God, and from your temple-throne you heard my troubled cry, and my sobs went right into your heart. God, all at once you turned on a floodlight for me! You are the revelation-light in my darkness, and in your brightness I can see the path ahead. (Psalm18:6, 28 TPT)

Gain New Strength

Image
But those who wait for the LORD [who expect, look for, and hope in Him] will gain new strength and renew their power; They will lift up their wings [and rise up close to God] like eagles [rising toward the sun]; They will run and not become weary, they will walk and not grow tired. — Isaiah 40:31 (AMP) Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. (Isaiah 40:28-29 NLT) The eyes of the LORD search the whole earth in order to strengthen those whose hearts are fully committed to him. (See 2 Chronicles 16:9) God arms me with strength, and he makes my way perfect. — Psalm 18:32 (NLT)

Healed & Whole

Image
“But for you who fear my name, the Sun of Righteousness will rise with healing in his wings and you will go free, leaping with joy like calves let out to pasture. — Malachi 4:2 (NLT) …he was pierced for our rebellion, crushed for our sins. He was beaten so we could be whole. He was whipped so we could be healed. (Isaiah 53:5 NLT) Abide in the shelter of His wings and receive healing and wholeness in every area of your life. “Heal me, O LORD, and I will be healed; Save me and I will be saved, for You are my praise.” (Jeremiah 17:14 NASB) Keep close watch over me as the apple of Your eye; shelter me in the shadow of Your wings. — Psalm 17:8 (VOICE)

Our Highest Priority

Image
“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6 (NKJV) The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in and puts his confidence in the LORD will be exalted and safe. (Proverbs 29:25 AMP) Worship instead of worry. Faith over fear. Make His Presence and praising Him your highest priority. We enter into His gates with thanksgiving, and His courts with praise. Blessed are the people who know the passwords of praise, who shout on parade in the bright presence of God. Delighted, they dance all day long; they know who you are, what you do—they can’t keep it quiet! Your vibrant beauty has gotten inside us— you’ve been so good to us! We’re walking on air! All we are and have we owe to God, Holy God of Israel, our King! (Psalm 89:15-18 MSG)

My eyes are upon You

Image
But my eyes are upon You, O GOD the Lord; in You I take refuge; Do not leave my soul destitute. — Psalm 141:8 (NKJV) The most effective and beneficial move we can make, in any and every situation is to keep our eyes on the LORD, our God. As Peter kept his eyes on Jesus, he was able to walk on the water, but when he looked at the external conditions, the wind, around him, he got fearful and started to sink (Matthew 14:28-30). With our eyes on Jesus we can do the extraordinary. In Matthew 14:19-21, Jesus took five loaves and two fish, and looked up to heaven. He then proceeded to feed five thousand men, besides women and children. They all ate and were filled, and they took up twelve baskets full of the leftover fragments (Matthew 14:19-21). When we look to the Provider, He will take care of the provision. Instead of examining the complexities of the challenges, keep your eyes on the Lord and entertain the possibilities of our great God. We keep looking to the LORD our God for his...

Chosen!

Image
But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; — 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) God chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love (Ephesians 1:4). We are alive today because God has called us to be here for such a time as this. We were not here during medieval times or for the dark ages, but God has called us and equipped us for this present age. We are ambassadors for Christ (1 Corinthians 5:20). May we represent Him well. Let us show others the goodness of God, that those who dwell in darkness may see His light and hear His call. “ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful. ” (Revelation 17:14)

He Knows & He Cares

Image
Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me, and know my anxieties; — Psalm 139:23 (NKJV) The LORD, examines our hearts and knows everything about us. He knows when we sit down or stand up. He knows our thoughts even when we are far away (Psalm 139:1-2 NLT). Our heavenly Father knows the heavy burdens we carry. He tells us to cast all our anxiety on him because he cares for us (1 Peter 5:7 NIV). Anxiety in the heart of man causes depression, (Proverbs 12:25a NKJV). Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; (Philippians 4:6 NKJV)

Trust Him at ALL Times

Image
My victory and honor come from God alone. He is my refuge, a rock where no enemy can reach me. O my people, trust in him at all times. Pour out your heart to him, for God is our refuge. Interlude — Psalm 62:7-8 (NLT) God is our safe place. He is our Rock of unyielding strength (Psalm 62:7b AMP). When the winds of adversity come, lean on the LORD. No matter what the doctor’s report says trust in the LORD and put your confidence in His Word. No matter how much negative news invades your atmosphere, completely rely on God! He is able to deliver you from all your troubles.

In the Father's Hand

Come, let’s worship and bow down. Let’s kneel in front of the LORD, our maker, because he is our God and we are the people in his care, the flock that he leads. If only you would listen to him today!  — Psalm 95:6-7 (GW) The LORD takes care of us and no one can take us out of His hand. Jesus says, “My Father, who has given them to Me, is greater than all; and no one is able to snatch them out of My Father’s hand.” (John 10:29) Instead of wandering away from Him, let us continually come and worship the LORD! May we always be led by our Shepherd and listen to Him. Our God is greater than all!

Crowned with Goodness

You crown the year with Your goodness, and Your paths drip with abundance.  — Psalm 65:11 (NKJV) This year is crowned with the goodness of the LORD. He has not brought you this far, to leave you now. People may ride over your head; you may go through fire and water, but God brings us to a place of abundance (Psalm 66:12). Abundant peace, grace, joy, etc. Our heavenly Father amply supplies all of our needs, according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Pleasures by His Side

You make the path of life known to me. Complete joy is in your presence. Pleasures are by your side forever. Psalm 16:11 (GW) Our heavenly Father guides our feet along the path of abundant life and peace. He smoothes out the rough places. When we go through the fiery trials and flood waters, Abba Father is by our side. He will not allow His children to be burned up or to drown. Why stray away? In His Presence, our joy is made complete. Stay by His side and experience the pleasures forevermore.

Forgiveness for All

Since God chose you to be the holy people he loves, you must clothe yourselves with tenderhearted mercy, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Make allowance for each other’s faults, and forgive anyone who offends you. Remember, the Lord forgave you, so you must forgive others. Colossians 3:12-13 (NLT) Make room for the faults of others. All of us are a work in progress. Instead of taking offense, seek to understand and do what is in your power to make peace. Just as readily as we accept God's forgiveness, let us be quick to extend forgiveness to others. Amen.

Our Confidence

This is the confidence we have in approaching God: that if we ask anything according to his will, he hears us. And if we know that he hears us - whatever we ask - we know that we have what we asked of him. 1 John 5:14-15 (NIV) May we approach the throne of grace, confident that the ear of God is open to hear our pleas. Let there be no doubt that we will receive what we ask for as long as it is according to the will of God. Rest assured, our heavenly Father knows what is best for us. God bless you, Love, Jackie

Hard Pressed but not Crushed

We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. 2 Corinthians 4:8 (NIV) -- Even though we may be pressed from every direction, we will not be crushed because we have the all-surpassing power of God dwelling inside of us. He will not abandon you. Keep looking to Him, to fight your battles. He has already given us the victory. Love, Jackie
