This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun! And all of this is a gift from God, who brought us back to himself through Christ. What an honor and privilege for us to be able to enter into His Holy Presence. What a pleasure to have His Holy Spirit dwelling in us, helping us, and comforting us. We get to experience His everlasting peace, in the midst of worldly chaos and confusion. As ambassadors for the Kingdom of God, we are to live a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. The LORD’s lovingkindnesses indeed never cease, for His compassions never fail. They are new every morning; Great is Your faithfulness. — Lamentations 3:22-23 (NASB) Looking for the new normal? Do you want what's normal or new? So much about our heavenly Father is not routine or normal: seas parting, sick people being healed, barren wombs giving birth, blind eyes receiving sight, the dead coming back to life, etc. Instead of looking for what is normal, let us begin each day new and fresh, trusting God to be our guide. Instead of our own agenda, may we begin each day being led by the Holy Spirit, ready to execute God’s purpose and plan on the earth, as ambassadors of Christ, and as soldiers, continually focused on the mission. “ Do not remember the former things, or ponder the things of the past. ” — Isaiah 43:18 (AMP)  ...press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. We are not to copy the behavior and customs of this world. Instead we are to conform to the culture of God’s Kingdom, one of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (See Romans 14:17) We have been given the ministry of reconciliation to bring others to Christ. May we not be infected by the world, but instead, affect the world for the Kingdom of God. But all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ [making us acceptable to Him] and gave us the ministry of reconciliation [so that by our example we might bring others to Him], — 2 Corinthians 5:18 (AMP)

You, LORD, are my lamp; the LORD turns my darkness into light. With your help I can advance against a troop; with my God I can scale a wall. — 2 Samuel 22:29-30 (NIV) As followers of Christ and ambassadors for the Kingdom of God, let us advance and take territory for His kingdom. As a good soldier of Jesus Christ, let us not draw back, but continually seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness. We take ground for the Kingdom of God as we invade the darkness with His light and His love. We take ground for the Kingdom as we combat the forces of darkness with love, peace, and the Word of truth, that sets people free. “ Prepare your shields, and advance into battle! ” (Jeremiah 46:3 NLT) For the battle belongs to the LORD and He has given us the victory!

But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; — 1 Peter 2:9 (NKJV) God chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love (Ephesians 1:4). We are alive today because God has called us to be here for such a time as this. We were not here during medieval times or for the dark ages, but God has called us and equipped us for this present age. We are ambassadors for Christ (1 Corinthians 5:20). May we represent Him well. Let us show others the goodness of God, that those who dwell in darkness may see His light and hear His call. “ These will make war with the Lamb, and the Lamb will overcome them, for He is Lord of lords and King of kings; and those who are with Him are called, chosen, and faithful. ” (Revelation 17:14)

Don’t be obsessed with getting more material things. Be relaxed with what you have. Since God assured us, “I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,” we can boldly quote, God is there, ready to help; I’m fearless no matter what. Who or what can get to me? — Hebrews 13:5-6 (MSG) To focus on gaining more material possessions is a poor investment in temporary things that make no real profits in the eternal bank account. However, true and lasting treasure comes when we focus our time and energies on loving God and being His ambassadors on the earth. Great profits come as we touch the lives of others with God's love. “Don’t store up treasures here on earth, where moths eat them and rust destroys them, and where thieves break in and steal. (Matthew 6:19 NLT). Stockpile treasure in heaven, where it’s safe from moth and rust and burglars. (Matthew 6:20 MSG).

We don’t give people any opportunity to find fault with how we serve. Instead, our lives demonstrate that we are God’s servants. We have endured many things: suffering, distress, anxiety, beatings, imprisonments, riots, hard work, sleepless nights, and lack of food. People can see our purity, knowledge, patience, kindness, the Holy Spirit’s presence in our lives, our sincere love, — 2 Corinthians 6:3-6 (GW) Like the Apostle Paul, we must endure some things in this life, but let us also maintain a good witness before all. Hebrews 12:1 says we are surrounded by a great cloud of witnesses. Let our lives reflect the presence of the Holy Spirit within us. May sincere love and genuine kindness be the source of everything we do and every word that comes out of our mouths. We are ambassadors for Christ (2 Corinthians 5:20), representing His Kingdom on the earth. Let's serve with distinction!
