Directed & Established

Image
The steps of a [good and righteous] man are directed and established by the LORD,
and He delights in his way [and blesses his path]. When he falls, he will not be hurled down, because the LORD is the One who holds his hand and sustains him. — Psalms 37:23-24 (AMP) As we faithfully follow the direction of Yahweh, He will establish our steps. Depart from evil and do good; And you will dwell [securely in the land] forever. For the LORD delights in justice and does not abandon His saints (faithful ones); They are preserved forever, but the descendants of the wicked will [in time] be cut off. The righteous will inherit the land and live in it forever. (Psalms 37:27-29 AMP) …the salvation of the righteous is from the LORD; He is our refuge and stronghold in the time of trouble. The LORD helps us and rescues us; He rescues the righteous from the wicked and saves us, because we take refuge in Him. (See Psalms 37:39-40 AMP)

He Stands With You

Image
The first time I was brought before the judge, no one came with me. Everyone abandoned me. May it not be counted against them. But the Lord stood with me and gave me strength so that I might preach the Good News in its entirety for all the Gentiles to hear. And he rescued me from certain death. — 2 Timothy 4:16-17 (NLT) Everyone may desert you, but always remember, the Lord stands with you. He will strengthen and empower you to do all that He has called you to do. Yeshua, the righteous Messiah is our Advocate and support. And if God is for us, who can be successful against us? (See Romans 8:31 AMP) “All things are possible for the one who believes and trusts in Yeshua!” (Mark 9:23 AMP) You can do all things [which He has called you to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers you [to fulfill His purpose... (See Philippians 4:13 AMP)

Perfect Peace

Image
You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! — Isaiah 26:3 (NLT) If your mind is being bombarded with anxiety producing thoughts, fix your thoughts on Yahweh. Dedicate your heart and mind to Him. Remember all the good things He has done, and is doing. The Amplified Bible says, He will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on Him. Trust the God Most High always, and take refuge in Him, with hope and confident expectation. For the LORD GOD is an everlasting Rock [the Rock of Ages], strong, stable, and trustworthy. (See Isaiah 26:4 AMP/VOICE) Even if the mountains heave up from their anchors, and the hills quiver and shake, I will not desert you. You can rely on My enduring love; My covenant of peace will stand forever. So says the Eternal One, whose love won’t give up on you. — Isaiah 54:10 (VOICE)

Perfect & Constant

Image
“ You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. ” — Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) When you dwell on the mountains before you, they seem to grow bigger. When your mind is committed to and focused on the LORD, He will keep you in perfect peace. The mountains melt like wax at the presence of the LORD, at the presence of the Lord of the whole earth. (Psalm 97:5 NKJV) Set your mind on the Prince of Peace. Let the peace of God rule in your heart. He has given us His perfect peace. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. Let His perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge. (See John 14:27 AMP) Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, whi...

Seek & Submit

Image
The LORD is good to those who depend on him, to those who search for him. So it is good to wait quietly for salvation from the LORD. And it is good for people to submit at an early age to the yoke of his discipline: — Lamentations 3:25-27 (NLT) Seek the LORD and submit to His will. Jeremiah 29:13 (NLT) tells us, if we look for Him wholeheartedly, we will find Him. Whatever your age, it’s never too late to start following God. Why resist the good plans the LORD has for you? They are plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 AMP)  God proves to be good to the man who passionately waits, to the woman who diligently seeks. It’s a good thing to quietly hope, quietly hope for help from God. — Lamentations 3:25-26 (MSG)

The Call to Worship

Image
Happy are those who hear the joyful call to worship, for they will walk in the light of your presence, LORD. They rejoice all day long in your wonderful reputation. They exult in your righteousness. — Psalm 89:15-16 (NLT) Blessed are the people who know the passwords of praise, who shout on parade in the bright presence of God. Delighted, they dance all day long; they know who you are, what you do—they can’t keep it quiet! Your vibrant beauty has gotten inside us— you’ve been so good to us! We’re walking on air! All we are and have we owe to God, Holy God of Israel, our King! (Psalm 89:15-18 MSG) And so, dear brothers and sisters, I plead with you to give your bodies to God because of all he has done for you. Let them be a living and holy sacrifice—the kind he will find acceptable. This is truly the way to worship him. (Romans 12:1 NLT)

It's a Vital Union

Image
“I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. — John 15:5 (AMP) A branch that is cut off from the vine, withers and eventually dies. So our union with Jesus is vital, that means absolutely necessary or important; essential. We should not attempt to do anything on our own, because apart from Him we can do nothing. In Him we live and move and exist (Acts 17:28). Invite Him into every area of your life. Ask for His help and continually seek to do His will. He is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). When we abide in Him, we bear much fruit. May our daily prayer be:  “Father, not My will, but Yours be done.” Seek more of his strength! Seek more of him! Let’s always be seeking the light of his face. — Psalm 105:4 (TPT)

Be Alert

Image
Dear friends, don’t be surprised at the fiery trials you are going through, as if something strange were happening to you. — 1 Peter 4:12 (NLT) Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8 NASB) The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; (John 10:10a NASB) But you belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. (1 John 4:4 NLT) Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly. (John 10:10b NASB) His purpose is to give us a rich and satisfying life. (John 10:10b NLT)

Complete Dependence

Image
God, the Master, The Holy of Israel, has this solemn counsel: “Your salvation requires you to turn back to me and stop your silly efforts to save yourselves. Your strength will come from settling down in complete dependence on me— the very thing you’ve been unwilling to do.” — Isaiah 30:15-17 (MSG) Let us turn to God, and rely on Him for all that we need, not only for our salvation, but with each and every day we live on the earth. He gives us the strength to do what He has called us to do. He provides the resources we need, at the time that we need them. He doesn't expect us to do it alone, He is our helper and guide. Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalm 31:24 NKJV)

Look Up

Image
My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. — Psalm 5:3 (NKJV) When you don’t know where to go, turn to the LORD. When you're uncertain of what to do, look to the LORD. When you're at a loss for words, speak the Word of God. Lay your requests before the LORD and wait expectantly. Watch and wait for Him to speak to your heart. When we call upon Him He is faithful to answer. When they call on me, I will answer;  I will be with them in trouble.  I will rescue and honor them. (Psalm 91:15 NLT)

He Draws All

Image
“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” — John 12:32 (NKJV) Jesus said, He draws ALL peoples to Himself. Nationality, color, race, social status, socioeconomic status, language, etc. does not matter. God does not show favoritism (Acts 10:34 NIV). Jesus draws all of us. He draws us with unconditional love and compassion, and His love never fails. Nothing can separate us from His love. Instead of condemnation, He shows us forgiveness, grace and mercy. Jesus came that we may have life, and have it more abundantly (John 10:10). We enjoy that abundant life as we abide in constant companionship with our Savior. Don’t be among those who draw back, instead, allow Jesus to continually draw you into a deeper, more intimate relationship with Himself, the very source of our peace, joy, love and life.

God's Great Provision

Image
And it will be that you shall drink from the brook, and I have commanded the ravens to feed you there.” So he went and did according to the word of the LORD, for he went and stayed by the Brook Cherith.. . — 1 Kings 17:4-5 (NKJV) The prophet Elijah did as the LORD told him, and the ravens brought him bread and meat in the morning, and in the evening; and he drank from the brook (1Kings 17:6). Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts? (Luke 24:38) God fed Elijah in the middle of a barren desert. Surely, your Father knows the things you have need of before you ask Him (Matthew 6:8). Never doubt our great big GOD, just do as the LORD has instructed. Wherever He has called you, He will supply. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think (Ephesians 3:20).

They Were Listening

Having received such a charge, he put them into the inner prison and fastened their feet in the stocks. But at midnight Paul and Silas were praying and singing hymns to God, and the prisoners were listening to them.  — Acts 16:24-25 (NKJV) Paul and Silas had their clothes torn off, were beaten with rods and then thrown into prison, yet at midnight, they were praying and singing praises to God. They did not get caught up in doubt, unbelief or fear. On your worst day, when it seems as though the enemy has you imprisoned, what sounds come out of your mouth? Hebrews 12:1 says, we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses. Let us fight the good fight of faith by praying and praising God always, no matter what the circumstance. You don't know whose salvation is hanging in the balance as they see and hear your faithfulness or lack of it. Amen!

Day and Night

O Lord, the God of my salvation, I have cried to You for help by day; at night I am in Your presence. Let my prayer come before You and really enter into Your presence; incline Your ear to my cry!  — Psalm 88:1-2 (AMP) Like the mother of a newborn baby attentively listens for his cry, so our heavenly Father's ear is always attuned to our cries. When we cry out to the Lord, we can be confident that He hears us and He will be faithful to answer. Seek Him day and night and be at peace in His Presence.

Let the Faithful Pray

Therefore let all the faithful pray to you while you may be found; surely the rising of the mighty waters will not reach them. You are my hiding place; you will protect me from trouble and surround me with songs of deliverance. Psalm 32:6-7 (NIV) Let all the faithful saints of God continually pray. The prayer of a righteous person avails much. When the floodwaters come, you will be on higher ground. Our heavenly Father is our hiding place. He protects us from trouble and surrounds us with joyous songs of victory. Hallelujah!

Spread the News!

How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news, the good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns! Isaiah 52:7 (NLT) Let us spread the good news that Christ has come to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release the prisoners from darkness (Isaiah 61:1). Jesus came that we may have life and have it to the full (John 10:10). Jesus gives the gift of peace (John 14:27) and eternal life (John 5:24) to those who believe. Through Christ, God gives us the victory (1 Corinthians 15:57). Share the good news!

What Great Love!

Come back to the LORD your God, because he is kind and shows mercy. He doesn't become angry quickly and he has great love. Joel 2:13 (NCV) God is kind, patient and full of mercy. His great love for us reaches to the heavens and His faithfulness to the skies (Psalm 57:10). The LORD does not change. We can count on Him to always be loving and full of grace. There is no greater love than Jesus giving His life on the cross for His friends. Accept the wonderful gift of God's great love for you. Love, Jackie

Cast Your Cares

Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous fall. Psalm 55:22 (NIV) Whatever concerns you have weighing heavy on your heart were not meant for you to hang on to. The LORD wants you to cast all your cares on Him. Put your burdens in the hand of the LORD and trust Him to take care of them. Instead of worrying, thank God for the victory in that situation. Love, Jackie
