“The LORD directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.” — Psalms 37:23 (NLT) A man’s mind plans his way [as he journeys through life], but the LORD directs his steps and establishes them. (Proverbs 16:9 AMP) We have no problem following the GPS to get where we want to go. However, we sometimes hesitate and question the steps Yahweh directs us to take. Know that Yahweh’s plans for you are good, for peace and well-being. May you follow His instructions to get to the glorious destination He has for you. He has not brought you this far to leave you now.  “ For I know the plans and thoughts that I have for you,’ says the LORD, ‘plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. ” — Jeremiah 29:11 (AMP)

Let the whole world bless our God and loudly sing his praises. Our lives are in his hands, and he keeps our feet from stumbling. — Psalms 66:8-9 (NLT) When you go through deep waters, He will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you. (See Isaiah 43:2 NLT) Even though we go through fire and flood, He will bring us to a place of great abundance. (See Psalms 66:12 NLT) He crowns the year with His goodness, and His paths drip with abundance. …even the hard pathways overflow with abundance. (See Psalms 65:11 NKJV/NLT) Don’t get discouraged and lose heart. Press on and continually praise our mighty God.

Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin], having been deeply rooted [in Him] and now being continually built up in Him and [becoming increasingly more] established in your faith, just as you were taught, and overflowing in it with gratitude. — Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT) Let us live and move and have our being in Christ, the king of kings and Lord of lords. (See Acts 17:28 & Revelation 19:16) In this new life, it doesn’t matter if you are a Jew or a Gentile, circumcised or uncircumcised, barbaric, uncivilized, slave, or free. Christ is all that matters, and he lives in all of us. (Colossians 3:11 NLT)

For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh and the lust of the eyes and the boastful pride of life, is not from the Father, but is from the world. “People ruin their lives by their own foolishness and then are angry at the LORD.” — Proverbs 19:3 (NLT) Many lives are ruined because people choose “to do their own thing” instead of seeking and yielding to the will of our heavenly Father, Who created us and knows the plans He has for us. His plans are for peace and well-being and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. (See Jeremiah 29:11 AMP) “You can make many plans, but the LORD’s purpose will prevail.” (Proverbs 19:21 NLT) “No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the LORD.” (Proverbs 21:30 NLT) Second Samuel 22:29 (NKJV) says: “…You are my lamp, O LORD; The LORD shall enlighten my darkness.” When we walk in the light, with Him, He will show us the right path to take. The LORD says, “I will guide you along the best pathway for your life. I will advise you and watch over you.” — Psalms 32:8 (NLT)

All of us must die eventually. Our lives are like water spilled out on the ground, which cannot be gathered up again. But God does not just sweep life away; instead, he devises ways to bring us back when we have been separated from him. — 2 Samuel 14:14 (NLT) A woman from Tekoa who had a reputation for great wisdom (See 2 Samuel 14:2), spoke these words to King David, in regards to the situation with his son, Absalom. However, Yahweh does not drive us away from Him, when we sin. His call is always to come near to Him, with a humble and repentant heart. In Numbers 9:17, the children of Israel refused to obey Yahweh, and did not remember His wondrous deeds which He performed among them. So they became stubborn and in their rebellion they appointed a leader to return to their bondage (slavery in Egypt). For thus says the high and exalted One Who lives forever, whose name is Holy, “I dwell on a high and holy place, and also with the contrite and lowly of spirit in order to revive the spirit of the lowly and to revive the heart of the contrite.” — Isaiah 57:15 (NASB) Our living God, Who is exalted above all, dwells on a high and holy place. However, He also lives with those of a humble and repentant heart. He restores the crushed spirit and revives the heart of the contrite. And what does the LORD require of us? To do what is right, to diligently practice kindness, and to walk humbly with our God. (Micah 6:8) “ … I live in the high and holy place, yet I am with the low, the weak, and the humble. I renew their vitality and revive their strength. ” — Isaiah 57:15b (VOICE)

Their purpose is to teach people to live disciplined and successful lives, to help them do what is right, just, and fair. — Proverbs 1:3 (NLT) Having a disciplined life goes along with living a successful life. Exercising discipline helps us to stay focused. Let us be disciplined to read and meditate on the Word of God, day and night, so that we may be careful to do everything that is written in it. Then we will make our way prosperous, and then we will be successful. Do not deviate from the Word, turning either to the right or to the left. Then you will be successful in everything you do. (see Joshua 1:7-8) Open my eyes to see the wonderful truths in your instructions. ( Psalm 119:18 NLT ) Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions; the revelation of your word makes my pathway clear.   ( Psalm 119:105  TPT)

So now we must cling tightly to the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps his promises! — Hebrews 10:23 (TPT) Let us hold tightly, without wavering, to the living hope we have in the LORD. For He who promised is reliable, trustworthy and faithful to His Word. In Hebrews 13:5, He assures us that He will never leave us or forsake us. Psalm 119:65 says, those who love God’s law will have great peace and nothing will make them stumble. Psalm 55:22 promises that, if we cast our cares on the LORD, He will sustain us. All the promises God has made are “Yes” in Christ (2 Corinthians 1:20). Which one are you standing in faith on?

As God’s obedient children, never again shape your lives by the desires that you followed when you didn’t know better. Instead, shape your lives to become like the Holy One who called you. For Scripture says: “You are to be holy, because I am holy.” — 1 Peter 1:14-16 (TPT) We are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that we may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called us out of darkness into His marvelous light; (1 Peter 2:9) I ask—ask the God of our Master, Jesus Christ, the God of glory—to make you intelligent and discerning in knowing him personally, your eyes focused and clear, so that you can see exactly what it is he is calling you to do, grasp the immensity of this glorious way of life he has for his followers, oh, the utter extravagance of his work in us who trust him—endless energy, boundless strength! — Ephesians 1:18-19 (MSG)

You intended to harm me, but God intended it all for good. He brought me to this position so I could save the lives of many people. — Genesis 50:20 (NLT) “For I hold you by your right hand— I, the LORD your God. And I say to you, ‘Don’t be afraid. I am here to help you.” (Isaiah 41:13 NLT) People may plan evil against you but God will use those same plans for your good. When you endure hardship, the great and glorious outcome, is that the lives of countless people may be preserved. Even when I walk through the darkest valley, I will not be afraid, for you are close beside me. Your rod and your staff protect and comfort me. — Psalm 23:4 (NLT)

Behold, I stand at the door and knock; if anyone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and will dine with him, and he with Me. — Revelation 3:20 (NASB) Jesus is continually knocking. Pay attention and have ears to hear His call. Open the door of your heart and invite Him in. Dine with the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He wants to bring healing and wholeness to every part of our hearts and every area of our lives. May we partake of the living Bread. In John 6:48 (AMP), Jesus said: “I am the Bread of Life [the Living Bread which gives and sustains life].” Let the Living Water satisfy your soul. In John 7:37 (NLT) Jesus stood and shouted to the crowds, “Anyone who is thirsty may come to me!” “Anyone who believes in me may come and drink! For the Scriptures declare, ‘Rivers of living water will flow from his heart.’” (John 7:38 NLT) You spread out a table before me, provisions in the midst of attack from my enemies; You care for all my needs, anointing my h...

And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. — Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT) The choice to follow Christ is a moment by moment decision. Let us make a dedicated decision to continually follow Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. When we build our lives, with Him as the foundation, our faith will grow strong. The Amplified Bibles says, “Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin],” (Colossians 2:6) Amen. Now that you have welcomed the Anointed One, Jesus the Lord, into your lives, continue to journey with Him and allow Him to shape your lives. — Colossians 2:6 (VOICE)

Remember, our Message is not about ourselves; we’re proclaiming Jesus Christ, the Master. All we are is messengers, errand runners from Jesus for you. It started when God said, “Light up the darkness!” and our lives filled up with light as we saw and understood God in the face of Christ, all bright and beautiful. — 2 Corinthians 4:5-6 (MSG) Submit to the work of the Holy Spirit within you and your life will be filled with His light. Let us proclaim His praises. For we were once darkness, but now we are light in the Lord. (Ephesians 5:8) We are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that we may proclaim the praises of Him who called us out of darkness into His marvelous light; (1 Peter 2:9)

Then they remembered that God was their rock, and the Most High God their Redeemer. — Psalm 78:35 (NKJV) Our Redeemer is strong and mighty. Be confident that whatever difficulties come your way today, He is well able to handle them. He is higher than any mountain, and more powerful than the waves of adversity. Cast all your cares on the Lord, because He cares for you.  “...with everlasting love I will have compassion on you,” says the LORD, your Redeemer.” (Isaiah 54:8b NLT) “ But as for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, and he will stand upon the earth at last. ” (Job 19:25 NLT)   For the LORD, your Redeemer, and He who formed you from the womb says this, “I am the LORD, Maker of all things, Who alone stretches out the heavens, Who spreads out the earth by Myself,” — Isaiah 44:24 (AMP)

Then the angel spoke to the women. “Don’t be afraid!” he said. “I know you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified. He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said. Come, see the place where He was lying.” — Matthew 28:5-6 (NLT) Who do you look for? Seek Jesus, the Messiah, our Risen Savior, the One who touches and transforms lives. Look for Christ, the One who conquered sin, death and the grave. Matthew 28:1 (NLT) says:  Early on Sunday morning, as the new day was dawning, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary went out to visit the tomb.  May we seek Jesus early. Don’t get started on your day until you spend some time with the Lord, dine with Him, feed on His Word and seek His will. Engage with Him,  not just early, but continually throughout your day. Luke 24:1, says the women came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. Today, let us bring our hearts to Him. May we prepare our hearts to receive our King.
