Live Full Lives

Image
—that Christ will live in you as you open the door and invite him in. And I ask him that with both feet planted firmly on love, you’ll be able to take in with all followers of Jesus the extravagant dimensions of Christ’s love. Reach out and experience the breadth! Test its length! Plumb the depths! Rise to the heights! Live full lives, full in the fullness of God. — Ephesians 3:17-19 (MSG) We can only live full lives to the degree that we open the door of our heart and let Jesus dwell in us and work through us. As we let Him go in and clean out the cracks and crevices, His love will fill each chamber of our heart. His love is limitless. It knows no bounds. His love enters through the prison doors, and sets prisoners free. The love of Christ brings comfort to the sick, and the lonely. Know the Truth

Image
Jesus said to the people who believed in him, “You are truly my disciples if you remain faithful to my teachings. And you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” — John 8:31-32 (NLT) We can know the truth theoretically (in our heads) or we can know the truth from our experience and that is when it gets into our hearts. When we know the truth, we live it and it makes us free. When we know the victory Jesus provided for us, we walk in victory. When we truly know that God is love, we are free to live and walk in His love. When we realize that God has given us a peace that surpasses all understanding, we live in peace. Glory hallelujah! Oh, send out Your light and Your truth! Let them lead me… (Psalm 43:3a (NKJV)

Filled & Flooded

[That you may really come] to know [practically, through experience for yourselves] the love of Christ, which far surpasses mere knowledge [without experience]; that you may be filled [through all your being] unto all the fullness of God [may have the richest measure of the divine Presence, and become a body wholly filled and flooded with God Himself]! — Ephesians 3:19 (AMP) The Apostle Paul prayed for believers to gain an understanding of the infinite dimensions of Christ’s love for us, this endless love which continues to reach out across the generations and for ages to come. This understanding shifts us from just a surface level knowledge of His love to a much deeper experience of God Himself. Then, in the face of tragedy or disaster, there are no questions, nor any doubt that God has us covered. May your entire being be filled and flooded with God’s Presence.
