Always Pray

Image
One day Jesus told his disciples a story to show that they should always pray and never give up. — Luke 18:1 (NLT) Jesus told a story about a widow who came to a judge repeatedly, saying, ‘Give me justice in this dispute with my enemy.’ The judge ignored her for a while, but finally he said to himself, ‘I don’t fear God or care about people, but this woman is driving me crazy. I’m going to see that she gets justice, because she is wearing me out with her constant requests!’” (See Luke 18:2-5 NLT) Then the Lord said, “Learn a lesson from this unjust judge. Even he rendered a just decision in the end. So don’t you think God will surely give justice to his chosen people who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? I tell you, he will grant justice to them quickly! But when the Son of Man returns, how many will he find on the earth who have faith?” (Luke 18:6-8 NLT) “And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will...

Draw Near

Image
But now in Messiah Yeshua, you who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of the Messiah. — Ephesians 2:13 (TLV) The call of God is always for us to come closer to Him. The nearness of God is for our good. When we wander away from Yahweh we make ourselves vulnerable to the attacks of the enemy. Draw near and abide in Him. Make the Lord GOD your refuge, and tell of all His wonderful works. (See Psalms 73:28) Dwell in the shelter of the Most High and abide in the shadow of the Almighty. For it is He who delivers you from the snare of the trapper and from the deadly pestilence. (See Psalms 91:1, 3 NASB1995) “ Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. But make sure you cleanse your life, you sinners, and keep your heart pure and stop doubting. ” — James (Jacob) 4:8 (TPT)

A Very Present Help

Image
God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. — Psalm 46:1 (NASB1995) In our lifetime, someone is bound to abandon us, in our time of need, but we can be confident that Yahweh is with us always and forever, through thick and thin and everything in between. He is a faithful Father, Who always takes care of His children. Behold what manner of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we should be called children of God! (See 1 John 3:1) The LORD is also our Shepherd [to feed, to guide and to shield us], we shall not want. (See Psalm 23:1 AMP) He keeps watch over us constantly and provides all of our needs. Amen.

He Rescues!

Image
Many hardships and perplexing circumstances confront the righteous, but the LORD rescues him from them all. — Psalm 34:19 (AMP) Beloved, do not be surprised at the fiery ordeal among you, which comes upon you for your testing, as though some strange thing were happening to you; (1 Peter 4:12 NASB1995) The Word tells us many are the afflictions of the righteous (Psalm 34:19 NASB1995) But it also says, the LORD delivers him out of them ALL. Persevere through the hardships. The LORD has already given us the victory. The angel of the LORD encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. O taste and see that the LORD is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! O fear the LORD, you His saints; for to those who fear Him there is no want. (Psalm 34:7-9 NASB1995) I will bless the LORD at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth. O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt His name together. — Psalm 34:1, 3 (NASB1995)

“Can these bones live?”

Image
Then He said to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” And I answered, “Lord God, You Yourself know.” — Ezekiel 37:3 (NASB) The Spirit of the LORD led Ezekiel to a valley filled with dead bones. Ezekiel 37:2 says they were completely dried out. Then the LORD said to Ezekiel, “Speak a prophetic message to these bones and say, ‘Dry bones, listen to the word of the LORD!'” (Ezekiel 37:4) The first step in going from death to life is to LISTEN to the Word of the LORD. In Ezekiel 37:7 Ezekiel spoke the message, just as the LORD told him. Suddenly as He spoke, there was a rattling noise all across the valley. The bones of each body came together and attached themselves as complete skeletons. In Ezekiel 37:10 Ezekiel spoke the message as the LORD commanded him, and breath came into their bodies. They all came to life and stood up on their feet—a great army. May we listen to and speak the powerful, living Word of God over dead relationships and dead situations in our lives. Elohim, our a...
