Manna for Your Morning

This is the day which Yahweh has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalms 118:24 (LSB) “Do not be grieved, for the joy of Yahweh is your strength.” (See Nehemiah 8:10 LSB) In 2 Corinthians 7:4 (AMP), the Apostle Paul says: “I am overflowing with joy in spite of all our trouble.” We can choose joy in all circumstances, knowing that our heavenly Father is working for our good. For His anger is but for a moment, His favor is for a lifetime; Weeping may last for the night, but a shout of joy comes in the morning. (Psalms 30:5 NASB1995) Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in Yahweh, lovingkindness shall surround him. Be glad in Yahweh and rejoice, you righteous ones; And shout for joy, all you who are upright in heart. (Psalms 32:10-11 LSB) I will rejoice and be glad in Your lovingkindness, because You have seen my affliction; You have known the troubles of my soul, and You have not given me over into the hand of the enemy; You have set my feet in a large place. ...

“Meanwhile, the people of Israel settled in the region of Goshen in Egypt. There they acquired property, and they were fruitful, and their population grew rapidly.” — Genesis 47:27 (NLT) What an amazing and faithful God! Yahweh caused His people to multiply and be fruitful in the midst of a severe famine. After the Egyptians ran out of money to buy food, they exchanged their livestock and cattle. Then, they sold their land because the famine was so severe. Eventually they became Pharaoh’s servants. (See Genesis 47:14-25) At the same time, God caused His people to prosper in Goshen. Yahweh shows Himself faithful to the word He spoke to Jacob in Genesis 46:3 (NLT). Before Jacob arrived in Egypt, God said to Jacob: “I am God, the God of your father,” the voice said. “Do not be afraid to go down to Egypt, for there I will make your family into a great nation.” May we not fix our eyes on external circumstances, but always look to our great and awesome God. You will keep in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is steadfast [that is, committed and focused on You—in both inclination and character], because he trusts and takes refuge in You [with hope and confident expectation]. — Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) As you fix your thoughts on Yahweh, and dedicate your heart to Him, He will keep you in perfect peace. May we demolish arguments and ideas, every high-and-mighty philosophy that pits itself against the knowledge of the one true God. Let us take prisoners of every thought, every emotion, and subdue them into obedience to the Anointed One. (See 2 Corinthians 10:5 VOICE) Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

I can do all things [which He has called me to do] through Him who strengthens and empowers me [to fulfill His purpose—I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency; I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him who infuses me with inner strength and confident peace.] — Philippians 4:13 (AMP) YAHWEH empowers us to do what He has called each one of us to do. We don’t receive strength to attempt to run someone else’s race. We have to stay in our OWN lane, and be about fulfilling the purpose for which we were created. When you grow weary, listen to what the LORD told Gideon: “Go with the strength you have…” (See Judges 6:14 NLT) As you do this, know that YAHWEH is faithful to provide all you need. The Anointed One is our power and strength. (See Philippians 4:13 VOICE) Amen.  Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the LORD’s purpose for him that will stand (be carried out). — Proverbs 19:21 (AMP)

And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:19 (NASB 1995) Our awesome God is Jehovah-Jireh, our Provider. He will supply all you need from His unlimited resources. That does not mean that we will not have to do our part and labor in order for them to manifest. He will supply the strength. For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, how blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. (Psalm 84:11-12 AMP)  For everyone who knows your wonderful name keeps putting their trust in you. They can count on you for help no matter what. O Lord, you will never, no never, neglect those who come to you. (Psalm 9:10 TPT)

“ And he will turn many Israelites to the Lord their God. He will be a man with the spirit and power of Elijah. He will prepare the people for the coming of the Lord. He will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children, and he will cause those who are rebellious to accept the wisdom of the godly. ” — Luke 1:16-17 (NLT) An angel of the Lord spoke these words to Zechariah, regarding his son, John the Baptist. John did not give in to the cultural norms of his day. Instead, he was filled with the Holy Spirit. May we be like John the Baptist and go in the Spirit and power of our Lord and Savior, Jesus to point the people of this generation to our coming King. Let our lives exemplify God’s wisdom, grace and truth. …you should keep a clear mind in every situation. Don’t be afraid of suffering for the Lord. Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all. — 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (AMP) Regardless of how current circumstances may appear, continue to walk with God and keep your trust in Him. He is the way maker. The LORD gives his people strength. The LORD blesses them with peace. (Psalm 29:11 NLT)

For a day in Your courts is better than a thousand outside. I would rather stand at the threshold of the house of my God than dwell in the tents of wickedness. O LORD of hosts, how blessed is the man who trusts in You! — Psalm 84:10-12 (NASB) Don’t be an outsider. Come and dwell in the house of the LORD. What the world offers is shallow, temporary and it drains you of life. Our heavenly Father is the giver of every perfect gift. (James 1:17) He generously gives us grace and glory. He fills our hearts with His love and our lives with His goodness. The LORD is a sun (giver of light) and a shield (our protection). He gives us a more abundant life that will last forever. Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise. Give thanks to Him, bless His name . — Psalm 100:4 (NASB)

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ — Matthew 22:37-39 (NKJV) We are called to love. Love God and love others. When we walk in love, we build a strong family and community of unity and faith. Division and deception are instruments of the devil. He attempts to draw us away from our heavenly Father, then deceive us about His goodness and the love He has for us. Don’t fall for the tricks of the enemy. Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour. (1 Peter 5:8 NASB) No one has seen God at any time; if we love one another, God abides in us, and His love is perfected in us. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.” Interlude  — Psalm 39:4-5 (NLT) The Spirit of God made us, and the breath of the Almighty gives us life. (Job 33:4). It’s His breath in our lungs. Thank God for giving you today. James 4:14 (NASB) says we are just a vapor that appears for a little while and then vanishes away. May we make the most of each moment He has given us. Be true to the desires God placed in your heart: sing the song, dance the dance, play the music, etc. That is when our dreams become reality and we truly live the more abundant life. Jesus came that we may have life, and that we may have it more abundantly. (John 10:10) LORD, teach us to realize the brevity of life, so that we may grow in wisdom. (Psalm 90:12 NLT)

“And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself.” — John 12:32 (NKJV) To draw means to gently pull or guide someone in a specified direction. Jesus has been lifted up from the earth, and now He is drawing all peoples to Himself. Sometimes, we act like Jonah and go in the opposite direction, but our specified direction is to move toward Jesus. Once we have delighted ourselves in His precious, yet powerful Presence, how can we not hunger and thirst for more of Him, more of His love, mercy, grace, and compassion? Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good! (Psalm 34:8a) The Word says He draws ALL peoples. Don’t think you are excluded. No matter who you are or what you have done, Jesus desires to draw you into a love relationship with Him. Surrender your heart to Him today.

Oh, clap your hands, all you peoples! Shout to God with the voice of triumph! For the LORD Most High is awesome; He is a great King over all the earth. — Psalm 47:1-2 (NKJV) The Kingdom of God has a language. It is the voice of victory and triumph. Shouts of joy and victory resound in the tents of the righteous: “The LORD’s right hand has done mighty things! (Psalm 118:15 NIV) Death and life are in the power of the tongue (Proverbs 18:21). We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony, (Revelation 12:11). As an ambassador (2 Corinthians 5:20) and citizen of the kingdom of God, are you speaking the language of defeat or with the victorious voice of God's kingdom?

“Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.” — Luke 22:42 (NKJV) The commitment and submission Jesus had to the Father, led Him to give His life to save a lost world. For the joy that was set before Him, Jesus was obedient to the Father’s will and endured the pain of the cross (Hebrews 12:2). May we fully submit to God, and yield to His will and His ways. It may not always “feel good,” but after you have suffered a little while, He will restore, support, and strengthen you (1 Peter 5:10). Just like Jesus, we have a future full of hope and joy, that grows brighter and brighter. Stay committed to the Father's will and the rest of your life will be the absolute BEST of your life!

Gracious words are a honeycomb, sweet to the soul and healing to the bones. — Proverbs 16:24 (NIV) Let us do everything without complaining or arguing (Philippians 2:14, GW). Ephesians 5:19-20 instructs us to speak to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing, and making melody in our hearts to the Lord, giving thanks always for all things to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. Before you speak a word consult with the Holy Spirit who dwells within you and choose your words wisely. Speaking negative, critical words is like hitting a board with darts. You can apologize and pull the dart out, but like the hole that is left, the damage done with negative words is still there. Let your speech always be with grace (Colossians 4:6).

A man with leprosy came and knelt before him and said, “Lord, if you are willing, you can make me clean.” Jesus reached out his hand and touched the man. “I am willing,” he said. “Be clean!” Immediately he was cleansed of his leprosy. — Matthew 8:2-3 (NIV) The hand of Jesus reaches out to you today. There is healing power in His hand. Jesus is willing to help you in EVERY area of your life. Kneel down before the Lord and let Him touch you. If you need, strength, healing, cleansing, deliverance, etc., Jesus is able and willing! Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today and forever (Hebrews 13:8). Jesus is caring and compassionate and He doesn't change. Do you need a touch from Jesus today?

I ask you that we all love each other. And love means living the way God commanded us to live. As you have heard from the beginning, his command is this: Live a life of love. 2 John 5-6 (NCV) This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters, (1 John 3:16). Love does not demand its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking. It keeps no records of wrongs, (1 Corinthians 13:5). In order to lay down our lives for each other, we cannot hold onto any grudges. Instead of dwelling on the wrongs done to us, we must choose to forgive and move on. Love never fails or comes to an end. Live in love.

Deceit fills hearts that are plotting evil; joy fills hearts that are planning peace! Proverbs 12:20 (NLT) Are you running a little low on joy? King Solomon, the wisest man who ever lived, said joy would fill the hearts of those who plan peace. So make every effort to live in peace with everyone (Hebrews 12:14). To maintain peace we must answer offensive remarks with kind words in a loving attitude. Promote peace in your home, at your place of employment and wherever you go and you will have a joyful heart. "What strength do I have that I should still hope? What prospects, that I should be patient? Job 6:11 (NIV) In the midst of his trials and tribulations, Job asked, "What strength do I have that I should still hope?" You may be wondering the same thing. When we are bombarded with the circumstances that arise in our daily living, it is easy to feel like we don't have the strength to put our hope in anything. However, the Apostle Paul instructs us to put our hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment (1 Timothy 6:17). Let us look for the joy in our lives and be like David who said his hope was in God all day long (Psalm 25:5). God is faithful and He will not fail us. Praise the LORD. Love, Jackie
