The LORD Reigns!

Image
“The LORD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him— my father’s God, and I will exalt him! The LORD is a warrior; Yahweh is his name!” “The LORD will reign forever and ever!” — Exodus 15:2-3, 15:18 (NLT) In all of our trials and tribulations, we are more than conquerors and gain an overwhelming victory through Him who loved us [so much that He died for us]. (See Romans 8:37 AMP) Fight the good fight of faith; take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you made the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. May Yahweh give you the strength to run with endurance the race that is set before you. Finish the course, and keep the faith. (See 1 Timothy 6:12, 2 Timothy 4:7 & Hebrews 12:1) “Who is like you among the gods, O LORD— glorious in holiness, awesome in splendor, performing great wonders?” — Exodus 15:11 (NLT)

Are You Aware?

Image
Then Jacob awoke from his sleep and said, “Surely the LORD is in this place, and I wasn’t even aware of it!” — Genesis 28:16 (NLT) As Jacob journeyed to his uncle Laban’s place, he reached a certain place and spent the night there because the sun had set. Then he had a dream, and behold, a ladder stood on the earth with its top touching heaven; and behold, the angels of God were ascending and descending on it. And behold, Yahweh stood above it and said, “I am Yahweh, the God of your father Abraham and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie, I will give it to you and to your seed.” (See Genesis 28:10-13 LSB) Among the promises Yahweh made to Jacob in Genesis 14-15, He promised to be with Jacob, and to keep him. Today, wherever you are on your journey, know that Yahweh is with you. For the ways of a man are before the eyes of Yahweh, and He watches all his tracks. (Proverbs 5:21 LSB) May you be aware of His Presence and follow His guidance. And He will protect you. The Lord is faith...

Don't Worry

Image
Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done. Then you will experience God’s peace, which exceeds anything we can understand. His peace will guard your hearts and minds as you live in Christ Jesus. — Philippians 4:6-7 (NLT) The longer we look at our problems, and troubles, the larger they seem. When we keep our focus on God, we gain the proper perspective. “For nothing will be impossible with God.” (See Luke 1:37) He is bigger and more powerful than any difficulty we face. He is higher than any mountain that stands before us.  …let us strip off every weight that slows us down, especially the sin that so easily trips us up. And let us run with endurance the race God has set before us. We do this by keeping our eyes on Jesus, the champion who initiates and perfects our faith. (See Hebrews 12:1-2 NLT)

What's on Your Mind?

Image
When I look at the night sky and see the work of your fingers— the moon and the stars you set in place— what are mere mortals that you should think about them, human beings that you should care for them? Yet you made them only a little lower than God and crowned them with glory and honor. — Psalm 8:3-4 (NLT) O LORD, You have searched me and known me. You know when I sit down and when I rise up; You understand my thought from afar. You scrutinize my path and my lying down, and are intimately acquainted with all my ways. Even before there is a word on my tongue, behold, O LORD, You know it all. (Psalm 139:1-4 NASB1995) How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! I can’t even count them; they outnumber the grains of sand! And when I wake up, you are still with me! (Psalm 149:17-18 NLT) YAHWEH knows us. Nothing we do or say is a surprise to Him. The Word says, He is intimately acquainted with all our ways. What thoughts fill your mind? May we fill our minds wit...

Never Forget

Image
Let all that I am praise the LORD; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the LORD; may I never forget the good things he does for me. — Psalm 103:1-2 (NLT) Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (Psalm 34:8 NKJV) Never forget all the good things He does. Bless the LORD who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. (Psalm 103:3-5 ESV)  Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! For His mercy endures forever. — Psalm 118:29 (NKJV)

Kind & Tenderhearted

Image
Lord, you’re so kind and tenderhearted to those who don’t deserve it and so patient with people who fail you! Your love is like a flooding river overflowing its banks with kindness. — Psalm 103:8 (TPT) Bless the LORD, my soul, and all that is within me, bless His holy name. Bless the LORD, my soul, and do not forget any of His benefits; Who pardons all your guilt, Who heals all your diseases; Who redeems your life from the pit, Who crowns you with favor and compassion; Who satisfies your years with good things, so that your youth is renewed like the eagle. (Psalm 103:1-5 NASB) Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good, for His faithfulness is everlasting. (Psalm 136:1 NASB) He provides food for hungry men and animals! His tender love for us continues on forever! Give thanks to the great God of the heavens! His tender love for us continues on forever! (Psalm 136:25-26 TPT)

Better than Life

Image
Because You r lovingkindness is better than life, My lips will praise You. So I will bless You as long as I live; I will lift up my hands in Your name. — Psalm 63:3-4 (NASB) The lovingkindness of the LORD is better than life itself. His love never fails. O give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; for His lovingkindness is everlasting. (1 Chronicles 16:34) He is a God of forgiveness, gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness; (Nehemiah 9:17). And through the lovingkindness of the Most High we will not be shaken. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow you all the days of your life, and you will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. (Psalm 23:6) Daily I will worship you passionately and with all my heart. My arms will wave to you like banners of praise. — Psalm 63:4 (TPT)

Magnify the LORD

Image
But each day the LORD pours his unfailing love upon me, and through each night I sing his songs, praying to God who gives me life. — Psalm 42:8 (NLT) The LORD is our maker. He gives us the breath of life. In Him we live and move and have our being. (Acts 17:28) It is good to give thanks to the LORD, and to sing praises to Your name, O Most High; to declare Your lovingkindness in the morning, and Your faithfulness every night. (Psalm 92:1-2 NKJV) For You, LORD, have made me glad through Your work; I will triumph in the works of Your hands. O LORD, how great are Your works! Your thoughts are very deep. (Psalm 92:4-5 NKJV) Oh, magnify the Lord with me, and let us exalt His name together. (Psalm 34:3)

Loyal to the LORD

Image
For the eyes of the LORD move to and fro throughout the earth that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His. — 2 Chronicles 16:9a (NASB) The LORD shows Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him. Be totally devoted to God, His Word and His ways. Be fully committed to following Him, wherever He leads, knowing that He shows us the best pathway for our lives. Rely on the LORD, first and foremost. Before you text a friend or delve into social media, seek the LORD. When we look to Him for help, He gives us the victory. You too, be patient; strengthen your hearts [keep them energized and firmly committed to God], because the coming of the Lord is near. (James 5:8 AMP)

He Hears, He Sees & He Heals

Image
“Return and tell Hezekiah the leader of My people, ‘Thus says the LORD, the God of David your father: “I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears; surely I will heal you. On the third day you shall go up to the house of the LORD…”’” — 2 Kings 20:5 (NKJV) God spoke these words to Hezekiah, and He still speaks these words to His people today. Be confident that the LORD listens to your prayer. He hears the cry of your heart. Not only does He see your tears, Psalm 56:8 (NLT) says, He has collected all our tears in His bottle. He has recorded each one in His book. Psalm 126:5 (NKJV) lets us know that those who sow in tears shall reap in joy. Hallelujah! Surely God heals! Our heavenly Father wants His children, healed and whole. He says: But to you who fear My name The Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing in His wings; (Malachi 4:2). In Matthew 9:35, Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and heali...

Completely Well

Image
“If a man receives circumcision on the Sabbath, so that the law of Moses should not be broken, are you angry with Me because I made a man completely well on the Sabbath?” — John 7:23 (NKJV) Have you ever had a conversation with someone who just doesn’t get it? The religious people were upset because Jesus healed on the Sabbath. However, they missed the main point. People who had been burdened for years, with disease, deformities, and sin, were being set free and completely healed. The blind received their sight. The lame walked. Lepers were cleansed. The deaf were able to hear. Dead people were brought back to life! When we come to Jesus, He sets us free from sin, sickness and death. He wants to make us completely healed, in every area of our lives: body, mind and soul. Our relationships with spouses, children, parents, in-laws, other believers, our neighbors, etc are to be vibrant, healthy and whole. Don't miss the main point: JESUS SAVES & HEALS! Submit your life to Chr...

Run to God!

Image
The young lions lack food and suffer hunger, but they who seek (inquire of and require) the Lord [by right of their need and on the authority of His Word], none of them shall lack any beneficial thing. — Psalm 34:10 (AMP) Continually seek the LORD, and you shall not lack any good thing. Inquire of His will and do things His way. Do not rely on your own insight or understanding (Proverbs 3:5b AMP). Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. Don’t assume that you know it all. Run to God!  (Proverbs 3:6-7a MSG)

Bow Down & Worship

Then the people of Israel were convinced that the LORD had sent Moses and Aaron. When they heard that the LORD was concerned about them and had seen their misery, they bowed down and worshiped. — Exodus 4:31 (NLT) When we know that the LORD cares about us and that He has seen our affliction and troubles, the appropriate response is to bow down in humility and cast all our cares upon Him. Then we can wholeheartedly worship the LORD, knowing that our heavenly Father is a great and mighty God. He is able to handle everything that concerns us. Oh come, let us worship and bow down; Let us kneel before the LORD our Maker (Psalm 95:6). Worthy, worthy worthy is the LORD!

Grateful Recognition

But if one loves God truly [with affectionate reverence, prompt obedience, and grateful recognition of His blessing], he is known by God [recognized as worthy of His intimacy and love, and he is owned by Him]. — 1 Corinthians 8:3 (AMP) Gratefulness goes beyond perfection. We are to have a grateful heart even when circumstances are not perfect. Gratitude is an attitude of the heart that is able to recognize the good in every situation. Even though you didn’t get the promotion, you can be grateful to still have a job. Being grateful is simply a choice we make to either complain about what we don’t have or be grateful for what we do have.

Alive and Active!

I will meditate on the glorious splendor of Your majesty, and on Your wondrous works.  — Psalm 145:5 (NKJV) Our God is alive and active! The LORD upholds all who fall (Psalm 145:14). He executes justice for the oppressed, and gives food to the hungry. The LORD gives freedom to the prisoners and opens the eyes of the blind. The LORD raises those who are bowed down. He loves the righteous (Psalm 146:7-8). The LORD heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds (Psalm 147:3). Our heavenly Father  takes pleasure in His people; (Psalm 149:4) Marvelous are His works!

Be Joyful in Him Alone

Though the fig tree does not bud
and there are no grapes on the vines,
though the olive crop fails
and the fields produce no food,
though there are no sheep in the pen
and no cattle in the stalls,
yet I will rejoice in the LORD,
I will be joyful in God my Savior. Habakkuk 3:17-18 (NIV) If God is all he has, Habakkuk says he will still be happy. How many people today, have that same attitude. If God was all we had, we would truly find that God is all we need. Let us rejoice in Him. Amen.

The Fruit of Our Lips

Through Jesus, therefore, let us continually offer to God a sacrifice of praise—the fruit of lips that openly profess his name. And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased. Hebrews 13:15-16 (NIV) May the fruit of our lips be a stream of continual praise to God. Declare the praises of our Creator. He chose us and adopted us into His family. How pleasant and fitting it is to praise Him as long as we live! Praise the LORD in His sanctuary; praise Him in His mighty heavens. May the words that come out of our mouths give praise and honor to our Savior, who daily bears our burdens. May our lips overflow with praise to the Father of our Lord Jesus, who is to be praised forever. Hallelujah!

Why all this Trouble?

Then Moses went back to the Lord and protested, “Why have you brought all this trouble on your own people, Lord? Why did you send me? Ever since I came to Pharaoh as your spokesman, he has been even more brutal to your people. And you have done nothing to rescue them!” Exodus 5:22-23 (NLT) Sometimes when we follow the Lord's instructions, things seem to get worse. And like Moses, we throw ourselves little pity parties, where we whine and complain and accuse God of doing nothing. God never promised us it would be easy, but that He would get us through it. While we do not always see the big picture, we can treasure the Lord's declaration in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." Amen. Love, Jackie

So Great a Love

For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is his love for those who fear him; as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us. Psalm 103: 11-12 (NIV) So great is the LORD's love for us. He sent Jesus to pay the penalty of our sin so we could be cleansed of our sins and enter into fellowship with Him. His love is so great, nothing in all creation can separate us from the love of God we have in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:38-39). No matter what happens, we can rely on the great love our Creator has for us. Praise God. Love, Jackie
