The Everlasting God

Image
Abraham planted a tamarisk tree at Beersheba, and there he called on the name of the LORD, the Everlasting God. — Genesis 21:33 (NASB1995) Have you never heard? Have you never understood? The LORD is the everlasting God, the Creator of all the earth. He never grows weak or weary. No one can measure the depths of his understanding. (Isaiah 40:28 NLT) All that comes our way in this life, will eventually come to pass. But the LORD is the only true God. He is the living God and the everlasting King! The whole earth trembles at his anger. The nations cannot stand up to his wrath. (Jeremiah 10:10 NLT) He is El Olam, the eternal God, Who lives forever. “There is none like the God of Jeshurun (Israel), Who rides the heavens to your help, and through the skies in His majestic glory. “The eternal God is your refuge and dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms...” (See Deuteronomy 33:26-27 AMP). Trust in the LORD forever, for in YAH, the LORD, is everlasting strength. (Isaiah 26:4...

None Like Him

Image
There is none like You, O Yahweh; You are great, and great is Your name in might. Who would not fear You, O King of the nations? Indeed it is Your due! For among all the wise men of the nations and in all their kingdoms, there is none like You. — Jeremiah 10:6-7 (LSB) “…Yahweh is the true God; He is the living God and the everlasting King. At His wrath the earth quakes, and the nations cannot endure His indignation. It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom; And by His understanding He has stretched out the heavens.” (Jeremiah 10:10, 10:12 LSB) Thus says Yahweh, “Cursed is the man who trusts in mankind and makes flesh his strength, and whose heart turns away from Yahweh. (Jeremiah 17:5 LSB) Blessed is the man who trusts in Yahweh and whose trust is Yahweh. (Jeremiah 17:7 LSB) Set your heart to seek the one and only true God. Trust the living God in every situation. Nothing is too difficult for Him. Heal me, O Yahweh, and I will be healed; Save m...

He is the True GOD

Image
“The true God is the Creator of all things. He is the owner and Lord of the heavenly realm and the earthly realm, and he doesn’t live in man-made temples. He supplies life and breath and all things to every living being. He doesn’t lack a thing that we mortals could supply for him, for he has all things and everything he needs.” — Acts 17:24-25 (TPT) Yahweh is the only true God. He is the faithful God and the everlasting King. The LORD is our Source, Who gives life and breath to every person and everything. He opens His hand and satisfies the desire of every living thing. (See Psalms 145:16) From one man he created all the nations throughout the whole earth. He decided beforehand when they should rise and fall, and he determined their boundaries. His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. (Acts 17:26-27 NLT) Yahweh is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. ...

Satisfied?

Image
“Has a nation [ever] changed gods even though they were not gods [but merely man-made objects]? But My people have exchanged their Glory (the true God) for that [man-made idol] which does not benefit [them]. — Jeremiah 2:11 (AMP) “Why do you spend money for what is not bread, and your wages for what does not satisfy? Listen carefully to Me, and eat what is good, and delight yourself in abundance. (Isaiah 55:2 NASB1995) O taste and see that Yahweh is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him! (Psalms 34:8 LSB) The things of this world can never bring lasting satisfaction, only temporary thrills, then you are left empty and aching. For what does it profit a man to gain the whole world, and forfeit his soul? (Mark 8:36 LSB) When Yahweh opens His generous hand, it’s full of blessings, satisfying the longings of every living thing. (See Psalms 145:16 TPT) “Yahweh will always guide you where to go and what to do. He will fill you with refreshment even when you are in a dry, diffi...

Be Still & Calm

Image
“Be still, be calm, see, and understand I am the True God. I am honored among all the nations. I am honored over all the earth.” You know the Eternal, the Commander of heavenly armies, surrounds us and protects us; the True God of Jacob is our shelter, close to His heart. [pause] — Psalm 46:10-11 (VOICE) Instead of letting your thoughts and emotions be tossed to and fro with continually changing conditions and circumstances, stay focused on YAHWEH. He will keep in perfect peace all who trust in Him, all whose thoughts are fixed on Him! (See Isaiah 26:3 NLT) Do not fret; it leads only to evildoing. (See Psalm 37:8 NASB1995) The man who trusts in the LORD and whose hope is in the LORD will not be anxious in the year of drought nor will cease from yielding fruit. (See Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV) Acknowledge and honor the Most High God. He is the great  “ I AM” and nothing is too difficult for Him.

Turn to The Living God

Image
For they themselves report about us what kind of a reception we had with you, and how you turned to God from idols to serve a living and true God, — 1 Thessalonians 1:9 (NASB1995) Let us turn away from idols, which is any person, place or thing that we have more affection for, than we do for Elohim, our loving Creator. Do you place more importance on some earthly activity than drawing near to Yahweh? Do you give more time, attention, or energy to someone or something, than you do to worshiping, thanking and praising, El Elyon, our mighty God? An idol can be TV, social media, a parent, a spouse or your child, a form of entertainment, sports, money, material possessions, any man-made traditions, the sun, moon, or stars, etc. …turn from these vain things to a living God, who made the heaven and the earth and the sea and all that is in them. (See Acts 14:15 NASB1995) May He occupy the primary place in our hearts and minds. “Turn to Me and be saved, all the ends of the earth; For I am God, ...

God’s Help

Image
Give us help against the adversary, for deliverance by man is in vain [a worthless hope]. With God we will do valiantly, for it is He who will trample down our enemies. — Psalm 108:12-13 (AMP) Human help is worthless. With God’s help we will do mighty things, for he will trample down our foes. Many put their hope in chariots, others in horses, but we place our trust in the name of the Eternal One, our True God. (Psalm 20:7 VOICE)  Your hope in the LORD will not be disappointed. …with God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26) The LORD is my strength and my song; he has given me victory. This is my God, and I will praise him! (Exodus 15:2a NLT)

His Love Never Quits

Image
Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. Give thanks to the God of gods, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. Give thanks to the Lord of lords, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. — Psalm 136:1-3 (NASB) Give thanks to the LORD and proclaim his greatness. Let the whole world know what he has done (1 Chronicles 16:8 NLT). God remembered us when we were down, His love never quits. Rescued us from the trampling boot, His love never quits. Takes care of everyone in time of need. His love never quits. Thank God, who did it all! His love never quits! (Psalm 136:23-26 MSG) Let your heart overflow with praise to the True God of heaven, for His faithful love lasts forever. — Psalm 136:26 (VOICE)

Come Closer

Image
Come close to the one true God, and He will draw close to you. Wash your hands; you have dirtied them in sin. Cleanse your heart, because your mind is split down the middle, your love for God on one side and selfish pursuits on the other. — James 4:8 (VOICE) Move your heart closer and closer to God, and he will come even closer to you. (James 4:8a TPT) So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. Quit dabbling in sin. Purify your inner life. Quit playing the field. Hit bottom, and cry your eyes out. The fun and games are over. Get serious, really serious. Get down on your knees before the Master; it’s the only way you’ll get on your feet. (James 4:7-10 MSG)

Drink from the Fountain of Life

Image
Your strong love, O True God, is precious. All people run for shelter under the shadow of Your wings. In Your house, they eat and are full at Your table. They drink from the river of Your overflowing kindness. You have the fountain of life that quenches our thirst. Your light has opened our eyes and awakened our souls. — Psalm 36:7-9 (VOICE) Let His strong love awaken your soul, and follow His light as He shows you the way. Come to God with an open heart and He will fill it to overflowing. We drink our fill with the abundance of His house; He allows us to freely drink from the river of His delights. There is no lack in His house. We may come with dry, empty cups, but once we drink of His Living Water our souls are satisfied. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows. Surely goodness and lovingkindness will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever. — Psalm 23:5-6 (...

Be Still

Image
“Be still, be calm, see, and understand I am the True God. I am honored among all the nations. I am honored over all the earth.” — Psalm 46:10 (VOICE) Cease striving and understand that the LORD our God is the one true God. He is the Most High God. Honor Him. Our heavenly Father is over all the earth. The Message Bible says to: “ Step out of the traffic! Take a long, loving look at me, your High God, above politics, above everything. ” (Psalm 46:10 MSG) He reigns over every situation in your life, over every mountain and over every valley. And He loves you. He is always with you, never to leave you nor forsake you. Surrender your anxiety! Be silent and stop your striving and you will see that I am God. I am the God above all the nations, and I will be exalted throughout the whole earth. — Psalm 46:10 (TPT)

Our Great King

Image
Clap your hands, all of you; raise your voices joyfully and loudly. Give honor for the True God of the universe; Here’s why: The Eternal, the Most High, is awesome and deserves our great respect. He is the great King over everything in this world. — Psalm 47:1-2 (VOICE) “As for God, His way is blameless; The word of the LORD is tested; He is a shield to all who take refuge in Him. (2 Samuel 22:31 NASB) A day in His courts is better than a thousand outside. (Psalm 84:10) He is full of grace and truth. (John 1:14) The LORD is gracious and merciful; Slow to anger and great in lovingkindness. (Psalm 145:8) Your unfailing love, O LORD, is as vast as the heavens; your faithfulness reaches beyond the clouds. (Psalm 36:5 NLT) “Trust in the LORD forever, for in God the LORD, we have an everlasting Rock . — Isaiah 26:4 (NASB)

Adore Him

Image
Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O LORD, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. — 1 Chronicles 29:11 (NLT) Let us adore (love and respect deeply) our God. He is the Most High God, above all. He is above your earthly circumstances. He is above all sickness and disease. He is above all fear and doubt. He is the One true God. He is Almighty God, nothing is too difficult for Him. Be a God-worshiper and proclaim His praises, at all times. Here’s the story I’ll tell my friends when they come to worship, and punctuate it with Hallelujahs: Shout Hallelujah, you God-worshipers; give glory, you sons of Jacob; adore him, you daughters of Israel. He has never let you down, never looked the other way when you were being kicked around. He has never wandered off to do his own thing; he has been right there, listening. — Psalm 22:22-24 (MSG)

It’s a Fact!

Image
But in fact, I am filled with power, with the Spirit of the LORD … Micah 3:8 (AMP) For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind. (2 Timothy 1:7 NKJV) We are filled with power, with the Spirit of the LORD, like the prophet Micah. It’s a fact! When we walk on the path God puts before us, being led by His Holy Spirit within us, we walk in His peace and in His power. He enables us to do all that He has called us to do. “ The things which are impossible with men are possible with God. ” (Luke 18:27) He empowers us with inner strength through His Spirit. (Ephesians 3:16) As for us, we shall walk [securely] in the name of the LORD our [true] God forever and ever. (Micah 4:5b AMP)

Magnify Him with Thanksgiving

Image
And give thanks for everything to God the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ. — Ephesians 5:20 (NLT) I am thankful that there is one true God, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6). Nothing is too difficult for Him. We can be thankful that He adopted us and brought us into His family, never to abandon us. He is with us always and forever. He completes us. His strength, fills in our weaknesses. His Presence enables us to go from poor and pitiful to powerful and prospering. His Spirit working in us, transforms us from victim to victorious overcomer. In the midst of challenges, we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. (Romans 8:37). Praise the name of God with a song, and magnify Him with thanksgiving. (Psalm 69:30)
