Manna for Your Morning

“This is what the LORD says— your Redeemer and Creator: “I am the LORD, who made all things. I alone stretched out the heavens. Who was with me when I made the earth?” — Isaiah 44:24 (NLT) But now, O Yahweh, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. (Isaiah 64:8 LSB) May we be soft and pliable in the hands of our Maker. Bend in the places where He says to bend. He will smooth out our rough places and straighten out the areas that need to be straightened.  Come, let us worship and bow down. Let us kneel before the LORD our maker, for he is our God. We are the people he watches over, the flock under his care. (Psalm 95:6-7 NLT) The LORD will accomplish that which concerns me; Your [unwavering] lovingkindness, O LORD, endures forever— Do not abandon the works of Your own hands. (Psalms 138:8 AMP)

How blessed is the man who does not walk in the counsel of the wicked, nor stand in the path of sinners, nor sit in the seat of scoffers! But his delight is in the law of the LORD, and in His law he meditates day and night. He will be like a tree firmly planted by streams of water, which yields its fruit in its season and its leaf does not wither; And in whatever he does, he prospers. — Psalms 1:1-3 (NASB1995) To be firmly planted and able to bear fruit, we need to meditate in the Holy Scriptures day and night.  Joshua 1:8  (NKJV) says: “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.”

For YAHWEH is always good and ready to receive you. He’s so loving that it will amaze you— so kind that it will astound you! And he is famous for his faithfulness toward all. Everyone knows our God can be trusted, for he keeps his promises to every generation! — Psalms 100:5 (TPT) The LORD is good to all, and His tender mercies are over all His works. (Psalms 145:9)  God is good and He does not change. (See Malachi 3:6) Like the father of the prodigal son, His arms are always open to receive you and draw you closer to Him. Oh, give thanks to the LORD, for He is good! His mercy is everlasting, and His truth endures to all generations. (See Psalms 100:5 & 118:1 NKJV) He is good and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon Him. (See Psalms 86:5) Oh, taste and see that the LORD is good; Blessed is the man who trusts in Him! (Psalms 34:8) Oh, that men would give thanks to the LORD for His goodness, and for His wonderful works to the children of men! (Psalm...

But I have this [charge] against you, that you have left your first love [you have lost the depth of love that you first had for Me]. — Revelation 2:4 (AMP) “Yet even now,” declares the LORD, “Return to Me with all your heart, and with fasting, weeping and mourning; and rend your heart and not your garments.” Now return to the LORD your God, for He is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness and relenting of evil. (Joel 2:12-13 NASB1995)  In Ezekiel 36:26-27 (NLT), the LORD says: “...I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. And I will put my Spirit in you so that you will follow my decrees and be careful to obey my regulations.” Come. Let us return to the LORD wholeheartedly, with tender hearts that are responsive to Him. 

Don’t fret or worry. Instead of worrying, pray. Let petitions and praises shape your worries into prayers, letting God know your concerns. Before you know it, a sense of God’s wholeness, everything coming together for good, will come and settle you down. It’s wonderful what happens when Christ displaces worry at the center of your life. — Philippians 4:6-7 (MSG) Keep Christ at the center of your life. Treasure Jesus in the very core of your being. Center your mind on Him, and He will illuminate each and every area. His light will shine brightly and reveal all you need to know, when you need to know. He will show you the way to go. Proverbs 4:18 (NASB1995) says: the path of the righteous is like the light of dawn, that shines brighter and brighter until the full day. Many in the crowd spread their garments on the road ahead of him, and others spread leafy branches they had cut in the fields.
