For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. “And He said to them, “Why are you troubled? And why do doubts arise in your hearts?” — Luke 24:38 (NKJV) Why are you troubled? In John 14:27 (TPT) Yeshua said: “I leave the gift of peace with you—my peace. Not the kind of fragile peace given by the world, but my perfect peace. Don’t yield to fear or be troubled in your hearts—instead, be courageous!” “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.” (John 16:33 NASB1995) Have no doubt. ...despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. And when John had heard in prison about the works of Christ, he sent two of his disciples and said to Him, “Are You the Coming One, or do we look for another?” — Matthew 11:2-3 (NKJV) John the Baptist baptized Yeshua. In John 1:15 (NASB), he testified about Him. And in Matthew 3:17 (NKJV), he was there when the Father’s voice came from heaven, saying, “This is My beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.” What caused him to doubt if Yeshua was really the One? Did being imprisoned lead him to question the validity of what he previously knew to be true? James 1:6 says: he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. He is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. (See James 1:8)  Never let your current circumstances, no matter how dismal, lead you down the path of questioning the truth (the Word of God). Peter said to Him, “Lord, if it is You, command me to come to You on the water.” And He said, “Come!” And Peter got out of the boat, and walked on the water and came toward Jesus. — Matthew 14:28-29 (NASB1995) Peter got out of the boat when Jesus commanded him to come. As we listen for and follow the commands of our Lord and Savior, we will have our own walking on water experiences. However, we have to be willing to get out of the boat, our comfort zone and all that is familiar. No excuses. If He calls us to go out into the deep, may we carry out His instruction. When Peter saw the strong wind and the waves, he was terrified and began to sink. “Save me, Lord!” he shouted. They have seen the works of the LORD, and His wonders in the deep. — Psalm 107:24 (NLT) Don’t fall for the distractions of the enemy. He brings drama in your life to get your eyes off of Jesus, then you start following Jesus at a distance (like Peter). This leads to doubt, a disconnection and detours away from the good plans our heavenly Father has for you. Instead, go deeper in God, and be devoted to Him with all your heart. Press into His Presence. Press into praise & worship and His Word.  In Luke 5:4 (NLT), Jesus told Simon, “ Now go out where it is deeper, and let down your nets to catch some fish .” Today, Jesus calls us to go deeper. We are not to passively linger on the shores, as a spectator. When we plunge into the depths of His Presence and faithfully follow where His Holy Spirit leads, we experience His peace, and joy. We engage with His power, and see the miracles of hearts and lives being changed to the glory of God. Even when building a house, we have to dig dee...

I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you should go; I will counsel you with My eye upon you. — Psalm 32:8 (NASB) We can bumble around in confusion and doubt or we can ask God to guide us in wisdom, truth and knowledge. He knows what is best and He sees the whole picture. Let us make our ears attentive to wisdom and incline our hearts to understanding (Proverbs 2:2), for our generous God is ready to share His wisdom with us. James 1:5 says: … if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all generously and without reproach, and it will be given to him. I have heard “ When the student is ready to learn the teacher appears .” For the LORD gives wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding. He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk in integrity, — Proverbs 2:6-7 (NASB)

Never doubt God’s mighty power to work in you and accomplish all this. He will achieve infinitely more than your greatest request, your most unbelievable dream, and exceed your wildest imagination! He will outdo them all, for his miraculous power constantly energizes you. Now we offer up to God all the glorious praise that rises from every church in every generation through Jesus Christ—and all that will yet be manifest through time and eternity. Amen! — Ephesians 3:20-21 (TPT) Never doubt the Most High God or His mighty power. He is ABLE! James 1:6 says, he who doubts is like a wave of the sea, driven and tossed by the wind. Being undecided makes you become like the rough seas driven and tossed by the wind. You’re up one minute and tossed down the next. (James 1:6b TPT) Stand strong in your commitment and loyalty to God. Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” — John 8:12 (NASB) For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light (Ephesians 5:8) When we follow Christ and live in the light, we no longer have to stumble around in darkness, doubt and confusion. We have the Word of God, illuminating truth and wisdom. As children of light,  we no longer have to be tossed to and fro by the waves of adversity,  but we are stable and confident to stand strong. As we continually follow Jesus, we have the Light of life within us, to lead and guide us along, through each season of life. The life of the godly is full of light and joy, but the light of the wicked will be snuffed out. — Proverbs 13:9 NLT)

Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, the power, the glory, the victory, and the majesty. Everything in the heavens and on earth is yours, O LORD, and this is your kingdom. We adore you as the one who is over all things. — 1 Chronicles 29:11 (NLT) Let us adore (love and respect deeply) our God. He is the Most High God, above all. He is above your earthly circumstances. He is above all sickness and disease. He is above all fear and doubt. He is the One true God. He is Almighty God, nothing is too difficult for Him. Be a God-worshiper and proclaim His praises, at all times. And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out and say, “Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me!” Then many warned him to be quiet; but he cried out all the more, “Son of David, have mercy on me!”  — Mark 10:46-48 (NKJV) When you cannot see which way to go, or have a dark cloud of doubt and confusion obstructing your view, call out to Jesus. He is near. His ears are always open to hear your voice. Like Bartimaeus, ignore those who tell you not to call upon God, cry out for Him even more. Our mighty God is faithful, He will answer. He is able and willing to take care of all that concerns you. The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. — Psalm 34:17 (NKJV)

And without faith living within us it would be impossible to please God. For we come to God in faith knowing that he is real and that he rewards the faith of those who give all their passion and strength into seeking him. — Hebrews 11:6 (TPT) In Matthew 3:13-14, when Jesus came to John at the Jordan to be baptized by him, John tried to prevent Him, saying, “ I need to be baptized by You, and are You coming to me? ” But after John was imprisoned, he began to doubt. John the Baptist, who was in prison, heard about all the things the Messiah was doing. Meanwhile, Peter followed him at a distance and came to the high priest’s courtyard. He went in and sat with the guards and waited to see how it would all end. — Matthew 26:58 (NLT) When Jesus was arrested, Peter followed Him at a distance. This separation was followed by Peter denying three times that he even knew Jesus, to the point of cursing and swearing (Matthew 26:74). If we follow Jesus at a distance, we allow room for doubt. Distractions will come and cause us to detour off the path of everlasting life. Let us faithfully, follow Jesus closely. Live in the light and enjoy intimate fellowship with Him. Don’t get sidetracked, and all will end well for you. Jesus is the way! Avoid evil and walk straight ahead. Don't go one step off the right way. (Proverbs 4:27 GNT)

“While the earth remains, Seedtime and harvest, Cold and heat, Winter and summer, And day and night Shall not cease.” — Genesis 8:22 (NKJV) This Scripture speaks of three seasons. A season of planting seeds, a season of harvesting, or gathering in the fruit that has been produced. And in between those two seasons, there is the season called TIME. How long? Only God knows. Some call this a time of waiting, but there are still things to do while you wait. If you have planted seeds of faith, the seed must be watered by speaking God’s Word over it. We have to keep weeds of doubt from growing, by guarding our heart and our ears to negative worldly opinions. (If it's not the truth of God's Word, it's an opinion.) “Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh; is anything too difficult for Me?” — Jeremiah 32:27 (NASB) It is He who made the earth by His power, Who established the world by His wisdom, and by His understanding He stretched out the heavens. When He utters His voice, there is a tumult of waters in the heavens, and He causes the clouds to ascend from the end of the earth; He makes lightning for the rain and brings forth the wind from His storehouses. (Jeremiah 51:15-16 NASB) He counts the stars and calls them all by name. (Psalm 147:4 NLT) He gives food to the wild animals and feeds the young ravens when they cry. (Psalm 147:9 NLT) Our heavenly Father who raised Jesus from the dead, moves in our lives too. If you ever doubt God’s ability to handle your situation, just take a minute to ponder the greatness of our God and all the wonderful works He has done. Stop talking to God about your problem and start telling your problem about your mighty God!

If people can’t see what God is doing, they stumble all over themselves; but when they attend to what he reveals, they are most blessed. — Proverbs 29:18 (MSG) God has a purpose and a plan for every day that you are alive on the earth. Let there be no confusion, for he who doubts is like a wave of the sea driven and tossed by the wind. (James 1:6).  In Jeremiah 29:13 (NASB) the LORD says, “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” May we continually seek God and His will for our lives and attend to what He reveals. Our Pastor is teaching us to “find God in everything and take Him everywhere.”

For we live by believing and not by seeing. — 2 Corinthians 5:7 (NLT) GOD’S WORD Translation says: “Indeed, our lives are guided by faith, not by sight.” (2 Corinthians 5:7 GW). Faith assures us of things we expect and convinces us of the existence of things we cannot see. (Hebrews 11:1 GW). May our faith in God and in His Word guide our lives, because it is impossible to please God without faith. (Hebrews 11:6) May faith guide what we choose to think about, what we believe, what we say and all of our actions. Doubt and unbelief lead to anxiety, worry, and fear. Imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises (Hebrews 6:12 NKJV). Live by believing. Believe that God loves you. Believe that He wants the best for you. Believe that all God’s promises in His Word are yes and amen, for you.

Lift up your heads, O you gates! And be lifted up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in. Who is this King of glory? The LORD strong and mighty, The LORD mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O you gates! Lift up, you everlasting doors! And the King of glory shall come in.  — Psalm 24:7-9 (NKJV) Was this psalmist telling us to lift up our heads because we are in a state of slumber? Let us arise, for the glory of the LORD is shining on us. If your head is hung low today, look UP. Let us open the gates of our hearts that the King of glory may enter. Don't let the bars of doubt and fear keep Him out. May we open the gates of our eyes and see the beauty of the LORD. May we open the gates of our ears to hear His still small voice. Turn a deaf ear to all the voices in the world clamoring for your attention and tune in to the voice of the Most High God. Hit the stop button on the chatter in your mind that causes doubt and fear. Recognize that He is a great and mighty God, full of grace, mercy and compassion. Acknowledge His Presence in your life. When you go through the floods and the fire, He is there. Understand that even when the world shuns you, our heavenly Father loves and cherishes you. He continually draws us closer to Him. When you give attention to our great God, everything else comes into proper perspective. He is exalted above all else. Draw near to the Lord and hear His Word. His Word will give you peace. The Word of God will revive you (Psalm 119:25) and give you strength (Psalm 119:28).
