Peace at ALL Times

Image
Now may the Lord of peace Himself grant you His peace at all times and in every way [that peace and spiritual well-being that comes to those who walk with Him, regardless of life’s circumstances]. The Lord be with you all. — 2 Thessalonians 3:16 (AMP) Don’t be anxious about things; instead, pray. Pray about everything. He longs to hear your requests, so talk to God about your needs and be thankful for what has come. And know that the peace of God (a peace that is beyond any and all of our human understanding) will stand watch over your hearts and minds in Jesus, the Anointed One. (Philippians 4:6-7 VOICE) “If you bow low in God’s awesome presence, he will eventually exalt you as you leave the timing in his hands. Pour out all your worries and stress upon him and leave them there, for he always tenderly cares for you.” (1 Peter 5:6-7 TPT)

Turn to Him

Image
The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things; and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, — Acts 17:24-26 (NASB1995) Yahweh gives to ALL people. Every good thing given and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shifting shadow. (James 1:17 NASB1995) He determined our appointed times, giving each person a time and place to live and thrive. We are here for such a time as this, called according to His purpose and plan. “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. (Acts 17:27 NLT) “ God overl...

Call on The Name

Image
For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek, for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him, for “Whoever calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.” — Romans 10:12-13 (LSB) …this is what was spoken by the prophet Joel: “‘In the last days,’ God says, ‘I will pour out my Spirit upon all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy. Your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams. In those days I will pour out my Spirit even on my servants—men and women alike— and they will prophesy. And I will cause wonders in the heavens above and signs on the earth below— blood and fire and clouds of smoke. The sun will become dark, and the moon will turn blood red before that great and glorious day of the LORD arrives. But everyone who calls on the name of the LORD will be saved.’” (Acts 2:16-21 NLT) “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among mankind by which we must be save...

Look to the LORD

Image
As for me, I look to the LORD for help. I wait confidently for God to save me, and my God will certainly hear me. Do not gloat over me, my enemies! For though I fall, I will rise again. Though I sit in darkness, the LORD will be my light. — Micah 7:7-8 (NLT) In any and all circumstances, look to the LORD for help. Though we experience every kind of pressure, we’re not crushed. At times we don’t know what to do, but quitting is not an option. We are persecuted by others, but God has not forsaken us. We may be knocked down, but not out. (2 Corinthians 4:8-9 TPT) In the midst of all the challenges we go through in this life, our mighty God is with us. He is El Elyon, the Most High God. He is above our enemies, and over every trial, and temptation. His power finds its full expression through our weakness. (2 Corinthians 12:9 TPT) Yahweh is able to give us beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; (See Isaiah 61:3) And He has provided...

The Work of His Hand

Image
But now, O LORD, You are our Father, We are the clay, and You our potter; And all of us are the work of Your hand. — Isaiah 64:8 (NASB) In Revelation 22:17 (NLT), the Spirit and the bride say, “Come.” Let anyone who hears this say, “Come.” Let anyone who is thirsty come. Let anyone who desires drink freely from the water of life. When we come to the LORD, may we present to him a heart that is open and pliable. Let your heart be molded by His love, gentleness, kindness and compassion. May it be filled with His peace, patience, goodness, and faithfulness. Receive the joy of His Presence. With our heart in the hands of the Potter, we will be the unique masterpiece He created each one of us to be.

Great & Marvelous

Image
O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is Your name in all the earth! — Psalm 8:9 (NASB) The great I AM, is the One true and living God. Blessed be the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth. Great and marvelous are His works. He set the sun, moon and stars in place. He knit each and every person together in the womb of their mother. He knows each person by name and knows the number of hairs on our head. God is intimately acquainted with all our ways. He desires continual fellowship with His children and wants us to reflect His glory on the earth. He created each one of us with a purpose and a good plan for our lives. He wrote all our days in His book before we drew our first breath. That means He has already gone into your future and made a way for you. Amen.

Be a Light-Bearer

Image
“ You are the light of the world. A city set on a hill cannot be hidden; nor does anyone light a lamp and put it under a basket, but on the lampstand, and it gives light to all who are in the house. Let your light shine before men in such a way that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in heaven. ” — Matthew 5:14-16 (NASB) ...because, although you were once the personification of darkness, you are now light in the Lord. So act like children of the light. For the fruit of the light is all that is good, right, and true. Make it your aim to learn what pleases our Lord. (Ephesians 5:8-10 VOICE) Be that illuminating light. Let your light shine everywhere you go, and light up the darkness that is in the world. Then Jesus again spoke to them, saying, “I am the Light of the world; he who follows Me will not walk in the darkness, but will have the Light of life.” — John 8:12 (NASB)

Trust Completely

Image
Trust in the Lord completely, and do not rely on your own opinions. With all your heart rely on him to guide you, and he will lead you in every decision you make. — Proverbs 3:5 (TPT) The Word of the LORD stands forever. Trust God completely. He is faithful to fulfill every word He has spoken. The word which goes out of His mouth will not return to Him void, without accomplishing what He desires, and without succeeding in the matter for which He sent it. (See Isaiah 55:11). For thus the Lord God, the Holy One of Israel, has said, “In repentance and rest you will be saved, in quietness and trust is your strength.” (Isaiah 30:15a NASB) O LORD of hosts, how blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation].  — Psalm 84:12 (AMP)

Trust Him at ALL Times

Image
O LORD of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. — Psalm 84:12 (AMP) Commit yourself to God. For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (Psalm 84:11 NLT) God’s glory is all around me! His wrap-around presence is all I need, for the Lord is my Savior, my hero, and my life-giving strength. (Psalm 62:7 TPT) Trust in Him at all times, O people; Pour out your heart before Him; God is a refuge for us. Selah. (Psalm 62:8 NASB)

His Name will be Called...

Image
For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,  Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. — Isaiah 9:6 (NASB) Jesus is Wonderful Counselor. Before you text a friend, talk to Jesus and listen for His answer. Jesus is Mighty God. Nothing is impossible with God. (Luke 1:37) Jesus is our conquering King. He has gained the victory for us, Christ is Eternal Father. In John 10:30, Jesus said,  “I and the Father are one.” Our Lord and Savior is also the Prince of Peace, and He has given it to us. Call on His name today. “ Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.] ” — John 14:27 (AMP)

"Who do you say that I am?"

Image
And He said to them, “But who do you say that I am?” Peter replied, “The Christ (the Messiah, the Anointed) of God!” — Luke 9:20 (AMP) Who do you say Jesus is? In John 6:67, Jesus asked the twelve disciples, “Are you also going to leave?” Simon Peter answered, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You [alone] have the words of eternal life [you are our only hope]. We have believed and confidently trusted, and [even more] we have come to know [by personal observation and experience] that You are the Holy One of God [the Christ, the Son of the living God].” (John 6:68-69 AMP) Believe and confidently trust in Jesus. Let us earnestly and diligently seek the Lord. He is our only hope.

True Joy & Contentment

Image
…You direct me on the path that leads to a beautiful life. As I walk with You, the pleasures are never-ending, and I know true joy and contentment. — Psalm 16:11 (VOICE) We find true joy and contentment when we continually walk with the LORD, each day of our lives. May we fix our gaze upon Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior, the eternal King of kings. In Philippians 4:11-13 (VOICE), the Apostle Paul says, “… I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances. I know how to survive in tight situations, and I know how to enjoy having plenty. In fact, I have learned how to face any circumstances: fed or hungry, with or without. I can be content in any and every situation through the Anointed One who is my power and strength. ” Amen.

Be Deeply Rooted

Image
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. — Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT) May we be deeply rooted and securely grounded in Jesus and the love of God. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. (Ephesians 3:17 NLT) Your roots nourish the rest of your body. If your roots are in an environment that is not conducive to growth, it will cause you to be weak and die spiritually. Being deeply rooted in Jesus gives us the nourishment to grow strong, thrive and bear much fruit. Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin], having been deeply rooted [in Him] an...

He is Faithful

Image
Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. — Hebrews 10:23 NKJV) God is faithful [He is reliable, trustworthy and ever true to His promise—He can be depended on], and through Him you were called into fellowship with His Son, Jesus Christ our Lord. (1 Corinthians 1:9 AMP) …He who promised is reliable and trustworthy and faithful [to His word]; (Hebrews 10:23b AMP) …the Master never lets us down. He’ll stick by you and protect you from evil. (2 Thessalonians 3:3 MSG) When people let you down, the Lord is by your side and He will strengthen you. So now we must cling tightly to the hope that lives within us, knowing that God always keeps his promises! (Hebrews 10:23 TPT) Cling tightly to the living hope we have in Jesus. Count on this: God is faithful and in His faithfulness called you out into an intimate relationship with His Son, our Lord Jesus the Anointed. — 1 Corinthians 1:9 (VOICE)

Continue to Follow

Image
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. — Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT) The choice to follow Christ is a moment by moment decision. Let us make a dedicated decision to continually follow Christ Jesus, our Lord and Savior. When we build our lives, with Him as the foundation, our faith will grow strong. The Amplified Bibles says, “Therefore as you have received Christ Jesus the Lord, walk in [union with] Him [reflecting His character in the things you do and say—living lives that lead others away from sin],” (Colossians 2:6) Amen. Now that you have welcomed the Anointed One, Jesus the Lord, into your lives, continue to journey with Him and allow Him to shape your lives. — Colossians 2:6 (VOICE)

Name Above Every Name

Image
Being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. For this reason also, God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow, of those who are in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and that every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. — Philippians 2:8-11 (NASB) J.E.S.U.S. What a beautiful name! Jesus is Lord of lords and King of kings (Revelation 17:14). His name is above every other name. His name is greater than anxiety, worry and fear. The name of Jesus is over all sickness and disease. The name of Jesus is greater than the rulers and principalities of darkness. Demons tremble at His name. Call on the name of Jesus, our Savior! His name is full of life, peace, and power. His name contains healing, hope and love. Therefore by Him let us continually offer the sacrifice of praise to God, t...

The Day the LORD has Made

Image
This is the day the LORD has made; We will rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NKJV) Every day of your life was written in His book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (Psalm 139:16) The LORD already has a solution for every situation that arises today. Our heavenly Father has a plan for your life. We can rejoice and be glad because it is a good plan. Submit to the leading of the Holy Spirit and His plan and purpose will prevail in your life. No human wisdom or understanding or plan can stand against the LORD. (Proverbs 21:30 NLT)

The Foundation of Wisdom

Image
Fear of the LORD is the foundation of wisdom. Knowledge of the Holy One results in good judgment. — Proverbs 9:10 (NLT) Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life. If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. (Proverbs 9:11-12a NLT) Wisdom begins with a reverential fear and respect for the LORD. The foundation of wisdom is to honor the LORD by putting Him first in all that we do. So you should look for the LORD before it is too late; you should call to him while he is near.  (Isaiah 55:6 NCV) Let the wicked abandon their way of life and the evil their way of thinking. Let them come back to God, who is merciful, come back to our God, who is lavish with forgiveness. (Isaiah 55:7 MSG) “This is God’s Message, the God who made earth, made it livable and lasting, known everywhere as God: ‘Call to me and I will answer you. I’ll tell you marvelous and wondrous things that you could never figure out on your own.’ — Jeremiah 33:3 (MSG)

Live in the Light

Image
In the past you were full of darkness, but now you are full of light in the Lord. So live like children who belong to the light. Light brings every kind of goodness, right living, and truth. — Ephesians 5:8-9 (NCV) With the Lord’s authority I say this: Live no longer as the Gentiles do, for they are hopelessly confused. (Ephesians 4:17 NLT) Let us live as children of light. Do not be bitter or angry or mad. Never shout angrily or say things to hurt others. Never do anything evil. Be kind and loving to each other, and forgive each other just as God forgave you in Christ. (Ephesians 4:31-32 NCV) In Luke 6:35-36 (NCV), Jesus said: “ But love your enemies, do good to them, and lend to them without hoping to get anything back. Then you will have a great reward, and you will be children of the Most High God, because he is kind even to people who are ungrateful and full of sin. Show mercy, just as your Father shows mercy. ” As we live our lives in the light and love of Jesus, we will dr...

Keep Following

Image
And now, just as you accepted Christ Jesus as your Lord, you must continue to follow him. Let your roots grow down into him, and let your lives be built on him. Then your faith will grow strong in the truth you were taught, and you will overflow with thankfulness. — Colossians 2:6-7 (NLT) Following Jesus is a choice we make each moment of the day. May we continually follow Him and let our roots grow deep into Him. Then our faith and trust in Him will grow, and our hearts and mouths will overflow with thankfulness for all He has done and is doing. “Choose for yourselves this day whom you will serve... As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” (Joshua 24:15)
