This is what the LORD says: “Don’t let the wise boast in their wisdom, or the powerful boast in their power, or the rich boast in their riches. But those who wish to boast should boast in this alone: that they truly know me and understand that I am the LORD who demonstrates unfailing love and who brings justice and righteousness to the earth, and that I delight in these things. He still loves His people with an everlasting love and His faithfulness continues throughout all generations; (See Psalm 119:90a NASB1995) His amazing love never fails. He draws us close to Him with lovingkindness. And I am convinced that nothing can ever separate us from God’s love. Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither our fears for today nor our worries about tomorrow—not even the powers of hell can separate us from God’s love. No power in the sky above or in the earth below—indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. — Proverbs 3:6 (AMP) Develop a close, intimate relationship with our heavenly Father. We get to know the LORD, as we spend time with Him, reading the Bible and praying (talking AND listening). As we read His Word, it reveals His character and nature and tells us how to walk in His ways. Acknowledge His greatness and Supreme authority over all. He is El Elyon, the God Most High and Elohim, the all-powerful Creator of the universe. He knows all and He already has a path marked out for you. Listen for God’s voice in everything you do, everywhere you go; he’s the one who will keep you on track. (Proverbs 3:6 MSG)  Don’t think for a moment that you know it all, for wisdom comes when you adore him with undivided devotion and avoid everything that’s wrong.  — Proverbs 3:7 (TPT)

“I will betroth you to Me forever; Yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness and justice,  in lovingkindness and mercy; I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, and you shall know the LORD. — Hosea 2:19-20 (NKJV) In order to get to know someone on a deeper, more intimate level, we have to spend time with them. As we spend time with our heavenly Father, we become intimately acquainted with the power of His love and faithfulness. God wants a covenant relationship with us that lasts forever, not a contract that can be re-negotiated and dissolved. May we steadily grow in the knowledge of God [with deeper faith, clearer insight and fervent love for His precepts]; (Colossians 1:10b AMP) “ Oh, that we might know the LORD! Let us press on to know him. He will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn or the coming of rains in early spring. ” (Hosea 6:3 NLT)

He wants us to know Him more than He wants burnt offerings (Hosea 6:6). Psalm 46:10 says, “Be still, and know that I am God!” If we don’t cease all our striving to do things in our own might, we will never know our God. Stop and acknowledge His mighty power and great wisdom. Be still and know that God is good and everything He does is good. Press on to know the width, length, depth and height of His amazing love and grace.
