My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. — Psalms 5:3 (NKJV) Don't fall for the distractions of the enemy and put your confidence in the government, a political party, a secret society or a religion. Our salvation and deliverance is about Who we know and accept. Look with great expectation, to our Heavenly Father and our Savior, Jesus Christ. I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. (Psalm 121:1-3 NLT) Yahweh himself will watch over you; he’s always at your side to shelter you safely in his presence.” (Psalms 121:5 TPT) He will guard you and guide you along the right path.  Unto you I lift up my eyes, O You who are enthroned in the heavens! Behold, as the eyes of servants look to the hand of their master, and as the eyes of a maid to the hand of her mistress, so our eye...

Give heed to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. — Psalm 5:2-3 (NKJV) The thief comes only in order to steal, kill and destroy. (See John 10:10a) The dark deeds of the enemy can make us feel down in the dumps, discouraged, and depressed, if we let him steal our joy and confidence in the LORD. Instead of giving in to the schemes of the enemy, look up with eyes of faith, and see the light of the LORD. Lift up your eyes and see the goodness and faithfulness of our great God. No matter how circumstances may appear, God is still working for your good. I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! He will not let you stumble; the one who watches over you will not slumber. — Psalm 121:1-3 (NLT)

Look Up

So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. — Colossians 3:1-2 (MSG) I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. (Psalm 121:1-3 NKJV) So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever. (2 Corinthians 4:18 NLT) Set your mind on things above, not on things on the earth. — Colossians 3:2 (NKJV)

Keep a Proper Perspective

So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. — Colossians 3:1-2 (MSG) After the crucifixion and burial of Christ, the Believers were discouraged, defeated, and hopeless. They could not see past Friday, to the glory of Sunday and the empty tomb. If we are more plugged in to the negative news of this world, instead of the Good News we have in Jesus, the Living Word, our outlook becomes dark and gloomy. If we rely on the Word of God instead of a doctor’s report, we will maintain our peace and a proper perspective. To keep a proper perspective, look up to Almighty God and look in His Word which stands forever. What looks like failure, is just a temporary spot on the way to your promise land. It’s ...

Higher than I

Image
From the end of the earth I will cry to You, when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For You have been a shelter for me, a strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings. Selah — Psalm 61:2-4 (NKJV) I will lift up my eyes to the hills— from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. (Psalm 121:1-2) For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are His ways higher than our ways, and His thoughts than our thoughts. (Isaiah 55:9) Our help comes from the LORD, the rock who is higher than I. He is higher than the circumstances we face today. He is higher than the doctor’s report. He is above any schemes of the enemy. Look up and call upon the LORD, our helper. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. (Psalm 5:3 NKJV)

The Right Perspective

So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective. — Colossians 3:1-2 (MSG) Keeping the right perspective in life, is so important. Instead of looking around at the circumstances, let us look up and stay focused on our great God, and all that He is doing in our lives. As we look to Him, with eyes of faith, He comes to our aid. As long as our eyes are fixed on the immediate earthly realities, we stay trapped by the limitations of our humanity. When we look to our heavenly Father, we open ourselves up to His faith filled world of unlimited possibilities. With God all things are possible. (Matthew 19:26) No matter what your current situation may be, never lose sight of the fact that God has a plan a...

My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. — Psalm 5:3 (NKJV) At a recent safe driving class, the instructor said, we tend to follow where our eyes go. Maybe that is why the Word of God tells us to look up. Why look up? Because that is where your help comes from. Psalm 121:1 says, “ I will lift up my eyes to the hills— from whence comes my help?”  Look up in expectation of an answer. Watch and wait for Him to speak to your heart (Psalm 5:3b AMP). Look up in expectation of seeing Him move on your behalf. Looking at circumstances may cause you to look down. But You, O LORD, are a shield for me, My glory and the One who lifts up my head. (Psalm 3:3 NKJV)

Look Up!

Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from his perspective.  — Colossians 3:1-2 (MSG) I look up to the mountains— does my help come from there? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth! (Psalm 121:1-2 NLT). Take your eyes off of earthly circumstances and put them on the LORD, our helper. When we see things from His perspective, our mountains will appear as molehills and the giants before us will dwarf in comparison to our great God. When we see things from His perspective we realize what seems impossible, is possible. With God all things are possible! My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up.  (Psalm 5:3 NKJV)

My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. — Psalm 5:3 (NKJV) When you don’t know where to go, turn to the LORD. When you're uncertain of what to do, look to the LORD. When you're at a loss for words, speak the Word of God. Lay your requests before the LORD and wait expectantly. Watch and wait for Him to speak to your heart. When we call upon Him He is faithful to answer. When they call on me, I will answer;  I will be with them in trouble.  I will rescue and honor them. (Psalm 91:15 NLT)

Keep Looking Up!

Give ear to my words, O LORD, consider my meditation. Give heed to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for to You I will pray. My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; in the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. — Psalm 5:1-3 (NKJV) May the LORD not only hear your voice every morning, but throughout the day as well. Let praises, and thanksgiving, continually flow from your mouth. When life circumstances try to get you feeling down and dejected, look up to the LORD and call to Him for help. If God is for us, who can be against us? (Romans 8:31)

He Lifted Me Out!

Image
He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. — Psalm 40:2 (NLT) If your life seems to be in the pit, look up! God is with you, and He is mighty to save. He is a shield for you, your glory and the One who lifts up your head (Psalm 3:3 NKJV). Declare Psalm 121:1-2 (NKJV), “I will lift up my eyes to the hills—from whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, who made heaven and earth.”

I will Look Up!

My voice You shall hear in the morning, O LORD; In the morning I will direct it to You, and I will look up. — Psalm 5:3 (NKJV) Daily enter the throne room of God, with your heart as the living sacrifice. Let it be your voice the LORD hears every morning, giving thanks for another day and laying your requests and concerns before Him. When you don’t know what to do, look up, look to our mighty God and listen for His still small voice. He knows the solution to every problem. He has the answer to every question. And He will provide the direction and guidance that is needed for every situation you face. Amen!
