Help in Time of Need

Therefore let us [with privilege] approach the throne of grace [that is, the throne of God’s gracious favor] with confidence and without fear, so that we may receive mercy [for our failures] and find [His amazing] grace to help in time of need [an appropriate blessing, coming just at the right moment]. — Hebrews 4:16 (AMP) Jesus is not out of touch with our reality. (Hebrews 4:15 MSG) He understands our weaknesses and He is always ready to help in our time of need. So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most. (Hebrews 4:16 NLT) Endure difficult circumstances, being confident that God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. (Psalm 46:1 NASB) Amen.

Ready Access

Now that we know what we have—Jesus, this great High Priest with ready access to God—let’s not let it slip through our fingers. We don’t have a priest who is out of touch with our reality. He’s been through weakness and testing, experienced it all—all but the sin. — Hebrews 4:14-15 (MSG) Once we have opened the door of our heart to Jesus, we gain 24-hour access to enter His Presence. We can humbly approach the throne room of God and meet with our Savior, the King of kings and the Lord of lords. What an honor! May we cling tenaciously to our absolute trust in Him as Savior (Hebrews 4:14 AMP) Worship and adore Him. In His presence, we are enveloped in His peace, and we obtain His protection and provision.
