“Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.” — John 15:4-5 (NASB1995) Yeshua is the true vine, and His Father is the vinedresser. (See John 15:1) In John 15:2 (TPT), Yeshua says: “He cares for the branches connected to me by lifting and propping up the fruitless branches and pruning every fruitful branch to yield a greater harvest.” Yahweh takes care of the branches, that are connected to the vine. Our part is to stay connected to Yeshua. Then, we are able to live and bear good fruit in abundance. He is the source of life. In Him we live and move and have our being. (See Acts 17:28 NKJV) Apart from Him, we wither and die. Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever You had formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God. — Psalm 90:1-2 (NKJV) No matter what generation you belong to, Yahweh invites you to come and abide in Him. It's a continual and open invitation. Let us make the LORD our refuge, even the Most High our dwelling place, each and every day. (See Psalm 91:9) Don't come to Him as a visitor on Sunday mornings and then go on your way. Stay and fellowship with Him throughout the week. Psalm 91:1 (AMP) says: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will remain secure and rest in the shadow of the Almighty [whose power no enemy can withstand]. And Jesus says: “All that the Father gives Me will come to Me, and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out.” (John 6:37 NKJV) May we walk so closely with Him, that we remain in His shadow, all of our days. Amen.

Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me. — John 15:4 (NKJV) When we remain in Jesus, there is a sweet and glorious exchange. In John 16:33, Jesus said, in Him we may have peace. As we lay all our cares at His feet, we experience everlasting peace that is not shaken by the circumstances of this world. Psalm 16:11 says, in His presence is fullness of joy. As we remain in Him, He turns our mourning to joy. 1 John 4:16 (AMP) says, God is love, and the one who abides in love abides in God, and God abides continually in him. As we remain in His love, the love of God is perfected in us. (See 1 John 4:12) May we live in constant connection to the vine, and the fruit of peace, joy and love will blossom in our hearts and greatly bless those around us.

“ When you abide under the shadow of Shaddai, you are hidden in the strength of God Most High. He’s the hope that holds me and the stronghold to shelter me, the only God for me, and my great confidence. ” — Psalms 91:1-2 (TPT) How long will you waver between the world and the Kingdom of God? Choose to abide in El Shaddai, continually abide in His Word, and remain united in fellowship with Jesus. Psalm 84:4 (AMP) says: Blessed and greatly favored are those who dwell in His house and His presence.“When we live our lives within the shadow of God Most High, our secret hiding place, we will always be shielded from harm. How then could evil prevail against us or disease infect us? God sends angels with special orders to protect you wherever you go, defending you from all harm.” (Psalms 91:9-11 TPT)   For here is what the Lord has spoken to me: “Because you loved me, delighted in me, and have been loyal to my name, I will greatly protect you. I will answer your cry for help every time you...

“I am the Vine; you are the branches. The one who remains in Me and I in him bears much fruit, for [otherwise] apart from Me [that is, cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing. — John 15:5 (AMP) A branch that is cut off from the vine, withers and eventually dies. So our union with Jesus is vital, that means absolutely necessary or important; essential. We should not attempt to do anything on our own, because apart from Him we can do nothing. In Him we live and move and exist (Acts 17:28). Invite Him into every area of your life. Ask for His help and continually seek to do His will. He is the way, the truth and the life (John 14:6). When we abide in Him, we bear much fruit. May our daily prayer be:  “Father, not My will, but Yours be done.” Seek more of his strength! Seek more of him! Let’s always be seeking the light of his face. — Psalm 105:4 (TPT)

“ But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit. ” — Jeremiah 17:7-8 (NLT) When we trust the LORD, He is our hope and our confidence. No matter what kind of storm comes, He give us the strength to persevere and overcome. As we stay planted in the house of the LORD and continually abide in His Presence, we will never stop producing fruit. Your strength will come from settling down in complete dependence on God. Lord Yahweh, the Holy One of Israel, says: “Come back to me! By returning and resting in me you will be saved. In quietness and trust you will be made strong. But you refused.” — Isaiah 30:15 (TPT)

I have told you these things so that you will be whole and at peace. In this world, you will be plagued with times of trouble, but you need not fear; I have triumphed over this corrupt world order. — John 16:33 (VOICE) No matter what you are being plagued with, the name of Jesus is higher and greater. God highly exalted Him, and bestowed on Him the name which is above every other name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow. Jesus has taken away the power of anything in this world to defeat us. Amen! In Jesus, we can abide in perfect peace and rest assured that He has already given us the victory. Hallelujah! Jesus said, “ I’ve told you all this so that trusting me, you will be unshakable and assured, deeply at peace. In this godless world you will continue to experience difficulties. But take heart! I’ve conquered the world. ” — John 16:33 (MSG)

We know that our old sinful selves were crucified with Christ so that sin might lose its power in our lives. We are no longer slaves to sin. For when we died with Christ we were set free from the power of sin. And since we died with Christ, we know we will also live with him. We are sure of this because Christ was raised from the dead, and he will never die again. Death no longer has any power over him. — Romans 6:6-9 (NLT)  We were set free from the power of sin, to live with Christ. Let us live with Jesus and not just visit Him on Sunday morning. Abide in Him 24 hours a day, 7 days a week; continually talk to Him. Dine with Him daily. When we open the door, of our heart, He will come in to us and dine with us. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes. (Ephesians 1:4 NLT) Instead of getting tangled up and tied down to things of this world, we are to abide in Christ, above worldly circumstances. Don't miss out, make God the number one priority in your life. So we don’t look at the troubles we can see now; rather, we fix our gaze on things that cannot be seen. For the things we see now will soon be gone, but the things we cannot see will last forever.  — 2 Corinthians 4:18 (NLT)

In order to live the abundant and fruitful life He intended for us, we have to abide in Him. Your cell phone or any electronic device is useless, unless it has been plugged into an electric source and charged. And a believer who is disconnected from their Source is unable to perform and function as we were created to. Let us stay connected to Jesus, the Source of our life. As we remain engaged with Him, we have everlasting peace that is not moved by earthly circumstances. When we are plugged into His Presence we experience fullness of joy, ...

Come close to God, and God will come close to you. Wash your hands, you sinners; purify your hearts, for your loyalty is divided between God and the world. — James 4:8 (NLT) With the flurry of activity that comes during the Christmas season, remember to draw near to God and abide in Him. When we draw near to God, He draws near to us. He is good and He does good. The LORD is good to everyone. He showers compassion on all his creation. (Psalm 145:9) His nearness is our good. As long as we continually draw near to our Heavenly Father, we are good. And if we wander off...  The LORD is good and does what is right; he shows the proper path to those who go astray. (Psalm 25:8) But as for me, how good it is to be near God! I have made the Sovereign LORD my shelter, and I will tell everyone about the wonderful things you do . — Psalm 73:28 (NLT)

In Him, we are able to experience perfect peace. In John 16:33, Jesus said, “ These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world. ” As we abide in Him, we are able to walk in love, kindness, compassion and gentleness. When we remain in Him, His power is made available to us. It enables us to stand strong and exercise self-control. As we remain in Him, we live in strength and victory. “ Live in me. Make your home in me just as I do in you. ” (John 15:4a MSG)

‘May the LORD bless you and protect you. May the LORD smile on you and be gracious to you. May the LORD show you his favor and give you his peace.’ — Numbers 6:24-26 (NLT) He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. (Psalm 91:1 NKJV) Abide in the secret place of His Presence and there He will keep you and sustain you. Though you walk through the valley, you will not fear because He will protect you and guard you from the enemy. Abide in the secret place, and experience the blessing of His abundant favor, His unlimited grace and His everlasting peace.

“I can of Myself do nothing. As I hear, I judge; and My judgment is righteous, because I do not seek My own will but the will of the Father who sent Me.” — John 5:30 (NKJV) Even Jesus said He could do nothing by Himself. Why do we try to operate outside of God’s will? John 15:5 says, Jesus is the vine, we are the branches. Without Jesus we can do nothing. When we abide in Him, we bear much fruit. Let us have the same attitude of Christ: not our will, but His be done. We accomplish this as we abide in Him, that means staying connected to Him, like vines are connected to the branch. As we surrender, submit, and sacrifice (not the most popular words in the world today), we will abide in Him. The first step in this ongoing process is surrender, give up, raise your hands and give God the praise. Second is submit, cooperate with and participate in God’s plan. Therefore submit to God. And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. — John 14:16-17 (NKJV) John 16:7 (AMP) tells us that Jesus sent the Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby) to be in close fellowship with us. He wants to develop an intimate relationship with us. Because He dwells in us, we have overcome (past tense). You belong to God, my dear children. You have already won a victory over those people, because the Spirit who lives in you is greater than the spirit who lives in the world. (1 John 4:4 NLT) ‘Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit,’ Says the LORD of hosts. (Zechariah 4:6 NKJV)

The eternal God is your refuge, and his everlasting arms are under you. He drives out the enemy before you; — Deuteronomy 33:27 (NLT) Our heavenly Father is our refuge, a secure shelter that protects us and keeps us safe when the enemy attacks. As we abide in Him, our battles belong to the LORD! And He always leads us in triumph in Christ. For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him. (Isaiah 64:4 NKJV). Take refuge in Almighty God.

For You have made him most blessed forever; You have made him exceedingly glad with Your presence. — Psalm 21:6 (NKJV) We are most blessed because we have been brought into the family of Almighty God and called children of God. We have the benefit of enjoying His Presence every moment of our lives. In His Presence we find gladness that exceeds our capacity to contain it, so we can let the overflow splash into the lives of those around us. His Presence brings us joy, when we realize that nothing can stand against us, as we abide in Him.

…but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. — Daniel 11:32 (NKJV) Our strength comes in knowing God and abiding in Hs Presence. When you know your God, you are confident that you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13 NKJV). When you know your God, in spite of all opposing forces which come, you will stand strong and give thanks to God, who gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 15:57 NKJV). Know that our God is good and He is working everything together for good in your life.

Lord, you have been our dwelling place throughout all generations. Before the mountains were born or you brought forth the whole world, from everlasting to everlasting you are God. — Psalm 90:1-2 (NIV) God has been our dwelling place, in all generations. Even before he made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in his eyes (Ephesians 1:4 NLT). Only in God, our heavenly Father, will we find true fulfillment and purpose in this life. The fullness of our peace and joy are wrapped up in His Presence. As we abide in Him, our spirits are truly made alive and set free. He alone is our living hope and this hope does not disappoint. Don't lodge with Him occasionally, as a visitor, come and stay, take up permanent residence in Him, as a member of God's family. It's where you belong!
