Turn to the LORD

Image
“Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.” — Isaiah 55:6-7 (NLT) If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 NKJV) For as high as the heavens are above the earth, so great is His lovingkindness toward those who fear Him. As far as the east is from the west, so far has He removed our transgressions from us. (Psalms 103:11-12 NASB1995) “Now, therefore,” says the LORD, “Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning. So rend your heart, and not your garments; Return to the LORD your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; And He relents from doing harm.” (Joel 2:12-13 NKJV)

Call to Him

Image
“Thus says Yahweh who made the earth, Y ahweh who formed it to establish it; Yahweh is His name, ‘Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’” — Jeremiah 33:2-3 (LSB) “Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. Let the wicked change their ways and banish the very thought of doing wrong. Let them turn to the LORD that he may have mercy on them. Yes, turn to our God, for he will forgive generously.” (Isaiah 55:6-7 NLT) “How kind the LORD is! How good he is! So merciful, this God of ours!” (Psalms 116:5 NLT) “Let my soul be at rest again, for the LORD has been good to me. He has saved me from death, my eyes from tears, my feet from stumbling. And so I walk in the LORD’s presence as I live here on earth!” (Psalms 116:7-9 NLT)

Seek & Trust Yahweh

Image
“You can be sure of this: The LORD set apart the godly for himself. The LORD will answer when I call to him. Don’t sin by letting anger control you. Think about it overnight and remain silent. Interlude Offer sacrifices in the right spirit, and trust the LORD.” — Psalms 4:3-5 (NLT) Get rid of all bitterness, rage, anger, harsh words, and slander, as well as all types of evil behavior. Instead, be kind to each other, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, just as God through Christ has forgiven you. (Ephesians 4:31-32 NLT) Seek the LORD [search diligently for Him and regard Him as the foremost necessity of your life], all you humble of the land who have practiced His ordinances and have kept His commandments; Seek righteousness, seek humility [regard them as vital]. Perhaps you will be hidden [and pardoned and rescued] in the day of the LORD’s anger. (Zephaniah 2:3 AMP) ...you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. ...

Seek the LORD

Image
Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the LORD, and He will have mercy on him; And to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. — Isaiah 55:6-7 (NKJV) People in this world seek many things: love, fame, fortune, power, etc. However, when we abide in Yahweh, we have all that we need. Call upon Him while He is near. If you truly seek Him, He will be found by you. Let us seek Almighty God, and His will and walk in His ways, all of our days. In His presence is fullness of joy; At His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (See Psalms 16:11) “Behold, the days are coming,” says the Lord GOD, “That I will send a famine on the land, not a famine of bread, nor a thirst for water, but of hearing the words of the LORD. They shall wander from sea to sea, and from north to east; They shall run to and fro, seeking the word of the LORD, but shall not find it. (Amos 8:11-12 NKJV)

Be Aware

Image
And she said, “The Philistines are upon you, Samson!” And he awoke from his sleep and said, “I will go out as at other times and shake myself free.” But he did not know that Yahweh had left him. — Judges 16:20 (LSB) Samson did not realize that Yahweh had left him. What a sad situation. After being lulled to sleep with his head in the lap of Delilah, and having the seven locks of his hair shaved off, Delilah began to bring him down, and his strength left him. (See Judges 16:19) Today, we have the Holy Spirit of God dwelling inside of us and He promises to never leave us or forsake us. In Matthew 28:20 (NKJV), Yeshua says: “…and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Intentionally set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD our God. Seek Him, and you will find Him when you search for Him with all your heart. (See Jeremiah 29:13 NASB1995) Don’t let the things of this world, distract you and draw you away from Yahweh. Remain alert and aware of Satan and his devices.

Seek His Face

Image
When You said, “Seek My face [in prayer, require My presence as your greatest need],” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I will seek [on the authority of Your word].” — Psalms 27:8 (AMP) Seek Yahweh while He may be found; Call upon Him while He is near. Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; And let him return to Yahweh,
and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. (Isaiah 55:6-7 LSB) In Jeremiah 29:13 (NASB1995), the LORD says: “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.” So, set your heart to seek Yahweh because He is our greatest need. Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those rejoice who seek the LORD! Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face evermore! (1 Chronicles 16:10-11 NKJV) …they who inquire of Yahweh shall not be in want of any good thing. (See Psalms 34:10 LSB) And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O Yahweh, have not forsaken tho...

Long for the LORD

Image
Glory in His holy name;  Let the hearts of those who seek and require the LORD [as their most essential need] rejoice. Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. — Psalm 105:3-4 (AMP) Let not a day go by that you do not long for more of Yahweh, in your heart, in your mind and in your life. Like John the Baptist said in John 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” May we consistently inquire of Him and His will for us, and draw our strength from Him, for with Yahweh all things are possible.“...those who entwine their hearts with Yahweh will experience divine strength. They will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles, run their races without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up.” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31‬ ‭TPT‬‬)

Seek the LORD

Image
“But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.” — Deuteronomy 4:29 (NASB1995) From wherever you are today, seek Yahweh. The LORD is good to all, and His mercies are over all His works. (Psalms 145:9 NASB1995) The LORD sustains all who fall and raises up all who are bowed down. (Psalms 145:14 NASB1995) The LORD is righteous in all His ways and kind in all His deeds. The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth.” (Psalms 145:17-18 NASB1995)

Seek After God

Image
Seek the LORD, all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the LORD will protect you— protect you from his anger on that day of destruction. — Zephaniah 2:3 (NLT) May we purposefully and passionately pursue to know the LORD and be known by Him. “His purpose was for the nations to seek after God and perhaps feel their way toward him and find him—though he is not far from any one of us. For in him we live and move and exist. As some of your own poets have said, ‘We are his offspring.’” (Acts 17:27-28 NLT) To know Him is to love Him and trust Him. And as we get to know Him we are to become more like Him: loving, kind, generous and gracious. Second Corinthians 3:18 (AMP) says: we all, with unveiled face, continually seeing as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are progressively being transformed into His image from [one degree of] glory to [even more] glory, which comes from the Lord, [who is] the Spirit. “I will leave in your...

It Is Time

Image
Sow with a view to righteousness, reap in accordance with lovingkindness; Break up your fallow ground, indeed, it is time to seek Yahweh until He comes and rains righteousness on you. — Hosea 10:12 (LSB) It is time to seek and search diligently for the LORD day by day. Don't be hard-headed nor have a hard heart. “…God overlooked and disregarded the former ages of ignorance; but now He commands all people everywhere to repent [that is, to change their old way of thinking, to regret their past sins, and to seek God’s purpose for their lives], because He has set a day when He will judge the inhabited world in righteousness by a Man whom He has appointed and destined for that task, and He has provided credible proof to everyone by raising Him from the dead.” (See Acts 17:30-31 AMP) Now set your heart and your soul to seek (inquire of, require as your vital necessity) the LORD your God.” (1 Chronicles 22:19a AMP) Seek the LORD [search diligently for Him and regard Him as the foremost ne...

“The Battle is Not Yours”

Image
and he said, “Listen, all Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem and King Jehoshaphat: thus says the LORD to you, ‘Do not fear or be dismayed because of this great multitude, for the battle is not yours but God’s.”  — 2 Chronicles 20:15 (NASB1995) Upon being notified that a great multitude was coming to make war against them, Jehoshaphat was afraid and turned his attention to seek the LORD, and proclaimed a fast throughout all Judah. (2 Chronicles 20:3) In his prayer, he acknowledged that they were powerless before the great multitude who were coming against them. He admitted that they did not know what to do, but he stated: “…our eyes are on You.”  (See 2 Chronicles 20:12) Yahweh’s response was to let them know that the battle belonged to Him. Jehoshaphat and all of Judah worshiped the LORD (See 2 Chronicles 20:18) And God gave them a total victory. Not one of their enemies escaped. (See 2 Chronicles 20:22-24) When we don't know what to do, may we keep our eyes on Yahweh, wor...

Call on Him Now

Image
Seek the LORD while you can find him. Call on him now while he is near. — Isaiah 55:6 (NLT) Now is the time to seek YAHWEH. Instead of seeking the temporary things of this world, set your affections on our eternal God, Who continually lavishes His unfailing love upon us. At His right hand are pleasures forevermore. (See Psalm 16:11 NKJV) With a deep longing in your heart, seek Him and require Him as a vital necessity, and you will find Him when you search for Him with all your heart. (See Jeremiah 29:13 AMP) For the eyes of the LORD roam throughout the earth, so that He may strongly support those whose heart is completely His…” (2 Chronicles 16:9 NASB) Seek God and He will be found by you. He is not far from each one of us. (See Acts 17:27) The LORD is near to all who call upon Him, to all who call upon Him in truth. (See Psalm 145:18) Don't delay! Call upon Him now.

He Knows You

Image
O LORD, you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, LORD. — Psalm 139:1-4 (NLT) There is no need to try to hide anything from Him. Our Heavenly Father is intimately acquainted with all of our ways, and He still lavishes His love upon us. He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. (Ephesians 1:7 NLT) In 1 Chronicles 28:9 (NASB1995), King David instructed his son Solomon: “…know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.” May we heed his words of wisdom and seek to know YAHWEH more each day...

Seek the LORD

Image
Seek the LORD and His strength; Seek His face continually. — Psalm 105:4 (NASB1995) Instead of seeking riches, material goods, or any other comforts of this world, seek the LORD, and His will. You will seek Him and find Him, when you search for Him with all your heart. (See Jeremiah 29:13) The enemy sends all kinds of distractions our way, but let us seek Yahweh each moment of the day. He is with us and He will give us exactly what we need, the strength, the wisdom, the guidance, etc. Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. — Colossians 3:1 (NASB1995)

Seek Him

Image
O God, You are my God; I shall seek You earnestly; My soul thirsts for You, my flesh yearns for You, in a dry and weary land where there is no water. — Psalm 63:1 (NASB1995) Because His unfailing love is better than life itself, let us praise Him as long as we live. He will satisfy more than the richest feast. Because He is our helper, may we praise Him and sing for joy in the shadow of His wings. (See Psalm 63:3-7 NLT) And those who know Your name will put their trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not forsaken those who seek You. The young lions do lack and suffer hunger; But they who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. (Psalm 9:10 & 34:10  NASB1995) Amen.

Seek Him

Image
You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart. — Jeremiah 29:13 (NASB1995) Instead of seeking earthly riches or giving priority to other worldly pursuits, be intentional to seek Yahweh daily, and delight to know His ways. The worries and riches and pleasures of this life will choke the Word out of you and prevent you from being fruitful. (See Luke 8:11 & 14 NASB1995) Seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and God will take care of all the other things you worry about (food, clothing, etc.) For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. (See Matthew 6:31-33) Seek Him with a deep longing and require Him as a vital necessity (See Jeremiah 29:13 AMP) Strive to know El Shaddai, the all-sufficient One, on an intimate basis. “Worship and serve him with your whole heart and a willing mind. For the LORD sees every heart and knows every plan and thought. If you seek him, you will find him. But if you forsake him, he will reject you fore...

Lack No Good Thing

Image
Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing. — Psalm 34:10 (NLT) Taste and see that the LORD is good. Oh, the joys of those who take refuge in him! Fear the LORD, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. (Psalm 34:8-9) For the LORD God is our sun and our shield. He gives us grace and glory. The LORD will withhold no good thing from those who do what is right. (Psalm 84:11 NLT) If Yahweh is withholding something, chances are it is not a “ good ” thing for you right now. So continue to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. (See Matthew 6:33 NKJV) So do not consume yourselves with questions: What will we eat? What will we drink? What will we wear? Outsiders make themselves frantic over such questions; they don’t realize that your heavenly Father knows exactly what you need.  — Matthew 6:31-32 (NKJV)

Seek & Respond

Image
Seek the LORD, all who are humble, and follow his commands. Seek to do what is right and to live humbly. Perhaps even yet the LORD will protect you— protect you from his anger on that day of destruction. — Zephaniah 2:3 (NLT) As believers, we want to seek the will of YAHWEH and open our hearts to Him, as the utmost priority, each and every day. Always seek His will and His ways, in the situations you encounter. As children of the Most High God, we are to reflect His nature and character. After we seek Him, let us be sure to respond in obedience to His instruction. Don't have a hard heart that resists His guidance. And don't be like Jonah, who went in the opposite direction to get away from the LORD. (See Jonah 1:3 NLT)  Proverbs 16:3 (AMP) says: Commit your works to the LORD [submit and trust them to Him], and your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. The condition of our plans succeeding depend on our obedience to follow His direction. He knows the pl...

Seek the LORD

Image
Glory in His holy name; Let the hearts of those who seek and require the LORD [as their most essential need] rejoice. Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. — Psalms 105:3-4 (AMP) Seek the LORD while He may be found, call upon Him while He is near. (Isaiah 55:6 NKJV) …you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul. (Deuteronomy 4:29 NKJV) Second Chronicles 12:14 (NKJV) says King Rehoboam did evil, because he did not prepare his heart to seek the LORD. Let us choose life and prepare our hearts to seek the LORD and His will. He is our most essential need. And those who know Your name [who have experienced Your precious mercy] will put their confident trust in You, for You, O LORD, have not abandoned those who seek You. (Psalm 9:10 AMP) And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth...

Seek the Lord

Image
And He has made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the face of the earth, and has determined their preappointed times and the boundaries of their dwellings, so that they should seek the Lord, in the hope that they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; — Acts 17:26-27 (NKJV) We have all been appointed by God to be on the earth for such a time as this. May the world condition and the current circumstances of our lives, drive us to seek after God, and His Kingdom, first and foremost. His purpose was for every nation, culture, race and religion to seek after Him, the LORD, our Redeemer the Holy One of Israel. Acts 17:27 (VOICE) says: “ His purpose in all this was that people of every culture and religion would search for this ultimate God, grope for Him in the darkness, as it were, hoping to find Him. ” Without Jesus, the Light of the World, we are all in the dark. Let us actually make Acts 17:28 a reality, and live our lives in God, n...
