Manna for Your Morning

You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. — Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) We can have perfect and constant peace as we center our thoughts on the LORD (not our problems). Think about His faithfulness, His goodness and His mighty power. Stay mindful of our awesome God, and all the wonderful works He has done in our midst. May we be fully committed to the LORD and be completely confident that He is able to take care of everything that concerns us.

I listen carefully to what God the LORD is saying, for he speaks peace to his faithful people. But let them not return to their foolish ways. Surely his salvation is near to those who fear him, so our land will be filled with his glory. — Psalm 85:8-9 (NLT) The voice of the LORD speaks peace. God will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You (Isaiah 26:3, AMP). Our land is filled with His glory as we follow His ways of peace and grace, and allow His light to shine through us!

The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever leans on, trusts in, and puts his confidence in the Lord is safe and set on high.  — Proverbs 29:25 (AMP) The LORD is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? (Psalm 27:1) The fear of people and what they think, will hinder us from doing God's will. Let us put our trust in the Lord and keep it there. God is a shield to those who put their trust in Him (Proverbs 30:5). Do not be moved by what you can see, but by the God you believe in.
