We are all subject to fall, in some way. However, we do not have to stay down. Proverbs 24:16 says: …a righteous man falls seven times, and rises again. He will lift you out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He will set your feet on solid ground. (See Psalms 40:2 NLT) No matter how dark and deep the pit, Yahweh is able to lift you out. Proverbs 16:18 (AMP) says: Pride goes before destruction, and a haughty spirit before a fall. Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God (See 1 Peter 5:6), and follow His direction for your life. Yes, the LORD will give what is good; And our land will yield its increase. Righteousness will go before Him, and shall make His footsteps our pathway.  — Psalm 85:12-13 (NKJV) Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, and comes down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow of turning (James 1:17). We have all received from our heavenly Father that which is good and perfect. Let us walk in His footsteps and pay His goodness forward to others.
