Manna for Your Morning

“No weapon that is formed against you will succeed; And every tongue that rises against you in judgment you will condemn. This [peace, righteousness, security, and triumph over opposition] is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and this is their vindication from Me,” says the LORD. — Isaiah 54:17 (AMP) ‘Do not fear [anything], for I am with you; Do not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, be assured I will help you; I will certainly take hold of you with My righteous right hand [a hand of justice, of power, of victory, of salvation].’ (Isaiah 41:10 AMP) “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown. When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.” (Isaiah 43:2 NLT) When opposition, challenges and difficulties come, do not fear because the LORD our God, the Holy One of Israel is with us. He is mighty to save.

“Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint.” — Isaiah 40:30-31 (NLT) Do you not know? Have you not heard? The Everlasting God, the LORD, the Creator of the ends of the earth does not become weary or tired. His understanding is unsearchable. He gives strength to the weary, and to the one who lacks might He increases power. (Isaiah 40:28-29 NASB1995) Yahweh is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him. (Psalms 28:7 LSB) Yahweh will give strength to His people; Yahweh will bless His people with peace. (Psalms 29:11 LSB) Be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart, all you who hope in the LORD. (Psalms 31:24 NKJV)

Thus says Yahweh, your Redeemer, the Holy One of Israel, “I am Yahweh your God, who teaches you to profit, Who leads you in the way you should go. If only you had paid attention to My commandments! Then your peace would have been like a river, and your righteousness like the waves of the sea.” — Isaiah 48:17-18 (LSB) Elohim, our Creator, didn’t form us in the womb of our mothers and forget all about us. He wants to be involved in the details of our lives, and will lead us step-by-step, in the way we should go. Sometimes we are too busy running our own agenda to stop and seek God's will. However, He created us with plans for peace and well-being and not for disaster. He has purposed it and He will also do it. Draw near to Him. Faithfully follow Him, and learn His ways. May we be like Mary, who seated herself at the Lord’s feet and was continually listening to His teaching. (See Luke 10:39 AMP)  By You I have been sustained from my birth; You are He who took me from my mother’s womb;...

‘Do not fear, for I am with you; Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, surely I will help you, surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’ — Isaiah 41:10 (NASB1995) Have no fear for Yahweh is with when you pass through the waters, He will be with you; and through the rivers, they will not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched, nor will the flame burn you. For He is the LORD your God, the Holy One of Israel, your Savior; He makes a way through the sea and a path through the mighty waters. (See Isaiah 43:2-3a & 43:16 NASB1995)  The LORD is my strength and my shield; My heart trusts in Him, and I am helped; Therefore my heart exults, and with my song I shall thank Him. — Psalm 28:7 (NASB1995)

For I, the LORD your God, hold your right hand; it is I who say to you, “Fear not, I am the one who helps you.” — Isaiah 41:13 (ESV) The great “ I AM ” is the One who helps us. Elohim, Creator of the universe, and all it contains. He is the all-sufficient and all-powerful El Shaddai. He gives to all life, breath, and all things. (See Acts 17:25 NKJV) Nothing is too difficult for the LORD. God chose us to be in a relationship with Him even before He laid out plans for this world… (See Ephesians 1:4 VOICE) And He doesn't leave us as orphans. He promises to be with us always. When you pass through the waters, He will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you. (See Isaiah 43:2 ESV) Whatever you're going through today, you can confidently rely on His help. Amen.

Yahweh says, “You are my witnesses, my chosen servants. I chose you in order that you would know me intimately, believe me always, and fully understand that I am the only God. There was no god before me, and there will be no other god after me. I, only I, am Yahweh, and there is no Savior-God but me.” — Isaiah 43:10-11 (TPT) “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.” (Isaiah 43:13 NLT) “I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my glory to anyone else, nor share my praise with carved idols.” (Isaiah 42:8 NLT) Praise and worship the LORD. Anything or anyone we put before God is an idol. It could be sports, a spouse, children, money, fame, T.V., etc. If we serve our fleshly desires, instead of God, we are serving the idol of selfishness. Understand that He alone is God. He chose you that you would know Him intimately and always believe Him. May we set our affections on Him and utilize our time, talents and treasu...

This is real love—not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins. — 1 John 4:10 (NLT) When many of us think of the word: SACRIFICE,  I believe, our first thought is “ What do I have to give up? ” Instead of loss, I encourage you to think about what we have actually GAINED because of the ultimate sacrifice of Jesus: a more abundant life on earth and eternal life in His Presence. For God has proved his love by giving us his greatest treasure, the gift of his Son. And since God freely offered him up as the sacrifice for us all, he certainly won’t withhold from us anything else he has to give. (Romans 8:32 TPT) Real love leads to sacrifice. For the greatest love of all is a love that sacrifices all. And this great love is demonstrated when a person sacrifices his life for his friends. (John 15:13 TPT)  We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us. So we also ought to give up our lives for our brothers and siste...

O LORD of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation]. — Psalm 84:12 (AMP) Those who believe in God and rely on Him, are blessed and greatly favored. Commit yourself fully to the LORD. Confidently expect God to bring you through, whatever He has brought you to. Believe that He rewards those who earnestly and diligently seek Him. Hebrews 11:6 (NASB) says, …without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him. “You are My witnesses,” declares the LORD, “And My servant whom I have chosen, so that you may know and believe Me and understand that I am He. Before Me there was no God formed, and there will be none after Me.” — Isaiah 43:10 (NASB)

So he returned home to his father. And while he was still a long way off, his father saw him coming. Filled with love and compassion, he ran to his son, embraced him, and kissed him. — Luke 15:20 (NLT) The prodigal son demanded his inheritance and then journeyed away from home and wasted everything he had with loose living. When he came to himself and returned home. His father welcomed him with open arms, and told his servants, “We must celebrate...” This parable is just a glimpse of the kind of love our heavenly Father has for His children. God's love transcends all of our bad decisions and prideful attitudes. His love never gives up on us. The love of the Father is always calling us to come closer to Him. Let us release the things of this world. Return to Him in our minds, hearts and actions, and receive the unconditional love of Abba Father.

This is the day which the LORD has made; Let us rejoice and be glad in it. — Psalm 118:24 (NASB) Every day of your life was recorded in His book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. (Psalm 139:16 NLT) Nothing that has happened in your life took Him by surprise. He has you here for such a time as this. The LORD is good, and He does good; (Psalm 119:68 NKJV). So we can rejoice, knowing that He has a plan for our lives and His plan is good. He woke you up this morning because He has a purpose and a destiny for you to fulfill today. Let go of the past, stop fretting the future and embrace the wonder of today.

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” — Matthew 11:28-29 (NIV) If you are weary and heavily burdened, get away with Jesus. Give all your worries and cares to God, for he cares about you (1 Peter 5:7 NLT). Praise be to the Lord, to God our Savior, who daily bears our burdens (Psalm 68:19 NIV). Leave your cares in His mighty hands and live your life close to Jesus. In His Presence we have perfect peace, fullness of joy and pleasures forevermore. ...those who wait upon God get fresh strength. They spread their wings and soar like eagles, they run and don’t get tired, they walk and don’t lag behind. (Isaiah 40:31 MSG)

Cause me to hear Your loving-kindness in the morning, for on You do I lean and in You do I trust. Cause me to know the way wherein I should walk, for I lift up my inner self to You. — Psalm 143:8 (AMP) Each day the LORD pours his unfailing love upon us, (Psalm 42:8a NLT). He crowns us with lovingkindness and tender mercies (Psalm 103:4b NKJV). Because His lovingkindness is better than life, our lips shall praise Him (Psalm 63:3 NKJV). His lovingkindness and His truth continually preserve us (Psalm 40:11b NKJV). Because His love never fails, we can lean on Him and trust Him. Open your ear to hear His voice, He calls each one of us by name. Lift up your soul to the LORD and He will show you the way.

The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit, a broken and a contrite heart— These, O God, You will not despise. — Psalm 51:17 (NKJV) When something is broken, we tend to throw it away. However, God’s ways are higher than our ways (Isaiah 55:9). When our lives are shattered and our spirits broken, God picks up all the broken pieces. He washes them off and puts them back together. The Master molds our spirits, and gives them a new shape. He restores purpose for every piece. He makes us whole again and strengthens our spirits. When you are battered, bruised and broken, instead of growing bitter, receive the blessing of letting God make you even better.

All whom My Father gives (entrusts) to Me will come to Me; and the one who comes to Me I will most certainly not cast out [I will never, no never, reject one of them who comes to Me]. — John 6:37 (AMP) We may have been abandoned and rejected by a person, but Jesus says He will never reject those who come to Him. We can be assured of finding acceptance in the arms of Jesus. He wants us to come, just as we are. And as long as you keep coming to Him, He will keep holding on to you!

Hear my cry, O God; Attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I will cry to You,
 when my heart is overwhelmed; Lead me to the rock that is higher than I. — Psalm 61:1-2 (NKJV) When you are overwhelmed, look to the Rock that is above all. For who is God besides the LORD? And who is the Rock except our God? It is God who arms us with strength and keeps our way secure (Psalm 18:31-32). There is no other. He is our Rock of refuge, and our Redeemer. As long as He is our Rock and our salvation, we will never be shaken. Trust in the LORD forever, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is the Rock eternal (Isaiah 26:4).

LORD, you alone are my inheritance, my cup of blessing. You guard all that is mine. The land you have given me is a pleasant land. What a wonderful inheritance! Psalm 16:5-6 (NLT) You have stayed at the mountain long enough. Go in and take possession of the land the LORD has given to you. Do not be discouraged. Be strong and very courageous, for our heavenly Father is with you wherever you go and nothing is too difficult for Him. The land the LORD gives us is pleasant. If you are willing and obedient, you will eat the best from the land (Isaiah 1:19, GW). What a wonderful inheritance we have as heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ!

I remember the days of old. I ponder all your great works and think about what you have done. I lift my hands to you in prayer. I thirst for you as parched land thirsts for rain. Psalm 143:5-6 (NLT) Ponder all the wonderful works of the LORD. He commands the sun and fills the sky with clouds. He sends rain to the earth and makes grass grow. He gives food to cattle and to the little birds (Psalm 147:7-8). Think about all the great works the LORD as done in your life. Offer up a prayer of thanksgiving with a heart full of appreciation for God's active involvement in our lives.

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD,  "plans to prosper you and not to harm you,  plans to give you hope and a future. Jeremiah 29:11 (NIV) The LORD has good plans for you. Psalm 139:16 says, "all our days were ordained and written in His book before one of them came to be." So, when it looks like a situation is destined for disaster, know that God has already established a way out for you.
