Blessed is he whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. — Psalms 32:1 (NKJV) Not a single person on earth is always good and never sins. (Ecclesiastes 7:20 NLT) “But I did find this: God created people to be virtuous, but they have each turned to follow their own downward path.” (Ecclesiastes 7:29) “God overlooked people’s ignorance about these things in earlier times, but now he commands everyone everywhere to repent of their sins and turn to him. (Acts 17:30 NLT) Now repent of your sins and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped away. (Acts 3:19 NLT)  We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are. For everyone has sinned; we all fall short of God’s glorious standard. Yet God, in his grace, freely makes us right in his sight. He did this through Christ Jesus when he freed us from the penalty for our sins. (Romans 3:22-24 NLT)

This is what the LORD says: “Cursed are those who put their trust in mere humans, who rely on human strength and turn their hearts away from the LORD.” — Jeremiah 17:5 (NLT) “But blessed are those who trust in the LORD and have made the LORD their hope and confidence. They are like trees planted along a riverbank, with roots that reach deep into the water. Such trees are not bothered by the heat or worried by long months of drought. Their leaves stay green, and they never stop producing fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:7-8 NLT) Set your affections on Yahweh. And keep your hope and your confidence in Him. ...our hope is in the living God, who is the Savior of all people and particularly of all believers. (See 1 Timothy 4:10) I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. “O taste and see that Yahweh is good; How blessed is the man who takes refuge in Him!” — Psalms 34:8 (LSB) Fear the LORD, you his godly people, for those who fear him will have all they need. Even strong young lions sometimes go hungry, but those who trust in the LORD will lack no good thing.
