He Lifts Us Up

Image
“I waited patiently for the LORD to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along.” — Psalms 40:1-2 (NLT) When we find ourselves in a pit of any kind, we can count on Yahweh to lift us up and out. When you cry out to Him, He is faithful to answer. He will turn your mourning into joyful dancing. He will take away your clothes of mourning and clothe you with joy... (See Psalms 30:11 NLT). He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear and will trust in Yahweh. How blessed is the man who has made Yahweh his trust, and has not turned to the proud, nor to those who stray into falsehood. (Psalms 40:3-4 LSB) “O LORD my God, you have performed many wonders for us. Your plans for us are too numerous to list. You have no equal . If I tried to recite all your wonderful deeds, I would never come to the end of them.” (Psalms 40:5...

The King of Glory

Image
Lift up your heads, O gates, and be lifted up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is this King of glory? Yahweh strong and mighty, Yahweh mighty in battle. Lift up your heads, O gates, and lift yourselves up, O ancient doors, that the King of glory may come in! Who is He, this King of glory? Yahweh of hosts, He is the King of glory. Selah. — Psalms 24:7-10 (LSB) Open your heart to Yahweh and Yeshua the Messiah. Be filled with and led by His Holy Spirit. Open wide your heart and receive His unfailing love, His grace,  His mercy and His perfect peace. …you are a chosen family, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, so that you may proclaim the excellencies of Him who has called you out of darkness into His marvelous light; (1 Peter 2:9 LSB) “ Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of Yahweh has risen upon you. For behold, darkness will cover the earth and dense gloom the peoples; But Yahweh will rise upon you, and Hi...

Patient Endurance

Image
For you have need of patient endurance [to bear up under difficult circumstances without compromising], so that when you have carried out the will of God, you may receive and enjoy to the full what is promised. — Hebrews 10:36 (AMP) We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation. And this hope will not lead to disappointment. For we know how dearly God loves us, because he has given us the Holy Spirit to fill our hearts with his love. (Romans 5:3-5 NLT) Do not become spiritually dull and indifferent, lean on God with absolute trust and confidence in Him and in His power and by patient endurance you will inherit the promises. After you have suffered for a little while, the God of all grace, who called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself perfect, confirm, strengthen and establish you. To Him be dominion forever a...

Not Destroyed

Image
We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair. We are hunted down, but never abandoned by God. We get knocked down, but we are not destroyed. — 2 Corinthians 4:8-9 (NLT) We may feel battered and beaten up by the troubles and trials we face in life. But don’t get discouraged by the difficulties that come. Even when we don’t know what to do, we can be sure that YAHWEH has already made a way for us. And our heavenly Father never abandons us. He stands with us. What then shall we say to all these things? If God is for us, who can be [successful] against us? (Romans 8:31 AMP) No matter what has happened in the course of our lives, we are still here! YAHWEH has been faithful to bring us through it all. And oftentimes, what we have suffered has served to make us stronger and more resilient. Continue to fight the good fight. Finish the race. Keep the faith. (See 2 Timothy 4:7)

“My Lord!”

Image
“My Lord and my God!” Thomas exclaimed. — John 20:28 (NLT) Call on the name, Adonai, which means “my Lord.” In John 20:29 (NLT) Jesus replied to Thomas: “ You believe because you have seen me. Blessed are those who believe without seeing me. ” Don’t just know about God through what others tell you. Get to know Him personally, as your God. Follow Him and submit to Him with all your heart, mind and soul. The Lord God is my strength [my source of courage, my invincible army]; He has made my feet [steady and sure] like hinds’ feet and makes me walk [forward with spiritual confidence] on my high places [of challenge and responsibility]. (Habakkuk 3:19 AMP) O LORD, our Lord, how majestic and glorious and excellent is Your name in all the earth! You have displayed Your splendor above the heavens. — Psalm 8:1 (AMP)

Be Sure of This

Image
“ Teach these new disciples to obey all the commands I have given you. And be sure of this: I am with you always, even to the end of the age. ” — Matthew 28:20 (NLT) Be sure of this, Jesus is with us always, and the same power that raised Him from the dead resides in us. He is with us for a purpose. Let us be engaged and active ambassadors for Christ, and the Kingdom of God. We are called to do even greater works. In John 14:12 (AMP), Jesus said, “ I assure you and most solemnly say to you, anyone who believes in Me [as Savior] will also do the things that I do; and he will do even greater things than these [in extent and outreach], because I am going to the Father .”

Called Out

Image
And his fullness fills you, even though you were once like corpses, dead in your sins and offenses. But God still loved us with such great love. He is so rich in compassion and mercy. Even when we were dead and doomed in our many sins, he united us into the very life of Christ and saved us by his wonderful grace! — Ephesians 2:1, 4-5 (TPT) Because of God's great mercy, grace and compassion, He called us out of darkness, and into His marvelous light, and into a glorious life in Christ. You are God’s chosen treasure—priests who are kings, a spiritual “nation” set apart as God’s devoted ones. He called you out of darkness to experience his marvelous light, and now he claims you as his very own. He did this so that you would broadcast his glorious wonders throughout the world. For at one time you were not God’s people, but now you are. At one time you knew nothing of God’s mercy, because you hadn’t received it yet, but now you are drenched with it! (1 Peter 2:9-10 TPT)

Do you have a need?

Image
But seek God’s kingdom, and all your other needs will be met as well. — Luke 12:31 (NCV) Do you have a need? Strive for and actively seek the Kingdom of God above all else and He will give you everything you need. For the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. (Romans 14:17 NKJV) May we do what is right. When in doubt about what is right, choose love, life, and truth. Pursue peace with all people and experience a fullness of joy in the presence of God, that is not moved by circumstances. For the Lord God is a sun and shield; The Lord will give grace and glory; No good thing will He withhold From those who walk uprightly. (Psalm 84:11 NKJV)

Blessed & Greatly Favored

Image
“For the LORD God is a sun and shield; The LORD bestows grace and favor and honor; No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. O LORD of hosts, How blessed and greatly favored is the man who trusts in You [believing in You, relying on You, and committing himself to You with confident hope and expectation].”  — P salm 84:11-12 (AMP) The Lord is not a hard man as His servant stated in the parable of the talents (Matthew 25:24). Jesus said, His yoke is easy and His burden is light (Matthew 11:30). Our heavenly Father wants to bless His children. No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Our cup will overflow with blessings (Psalm 23:5 NLT). God will not only meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19), He will provide more than enough so you can be a blessing to others. And when you delight yourself in the LORD, He shall give you the desires of your heart (Psalm 37:4). He who did not spare His o...

In All Your Ways…

Image
Trust in and rely confidently on the LORD with all your heart and do not rely on your own insight or understanding. In all your ways know and acknowledge and recognize Him, and He will make your paths straight and smooth [removing obstacles that block your way]. — Proverbs 3:5-6 (AMP) Do you want the obstacles in your life removed? Seek to know the LORD, first and foremost, above all else. In all your ways, know Him, not just your going to church way, but in your everyday life way. In all your ways, be loving, forgiving, kind and compassionate. We acknowledge Him when we accept His way as the best way and put it into action. What little insight we think we have cannot begin to compare to God’s infinite wisdom. Recognize that He is greater than anything that attempts to block your path and rely confidently on the LORD. He is the only Way!

“Lord, I am coming.”

Image
My heart has heard you say, “Come and talk with me.” And my heart responds, “Lord, I am coming.” — Psalm 27:8 (NLT) Everything God does in our lives is to draw us closer to Him. Every challenge He allows strengthens us and makes us more like Him, so we can grow closer to Him and bring others with us; those who can relate to our struggles. God comforts us in all our troubles, so we can comfort those in any trouble with the same comfort God has given us. (2 Corinthians 1:4). Let us embrace each and every moment God gives us, on this earth, and take great delight in His Presence each step of the way. In the fullness of His Presence, we have all that we need. Amen!

Good to ALL!

The LORD is gracious and compassionate, slow to anger and rich in love. The LORD is good to all; he has compassion on all he has made. — Psalm 145:8-9 (NIV)  Sometimes when confronted with the issues of life, we can forget about the goodness of the LORD. Let us remember all His benefits. He opens His hand and satisfies the desires of every living thing (Psalm 145:16). He forgives all our sins and heals all our diseases. He redeems our lives from the pit and crowns us with love and compassion (Psalm 103:3-4). No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly (Psalm 84:11). Let's stand on His Word, not matter how the situation appears right now. Amen!

Perfect & Constant Peace!

You will guard him and keep him in perfect and constant peace whose mind [both its inclination and its character] is stayed on You, because he commits himself to You, leans on You, and hopes confidently in You. — Isaiah 26:3 (AMP) Is your mind inclined to have thoughts about the LORD or has something else captured your attention? Fix your thoughts on the LORD, and He will keep you in the gentle flow of His perfect and constant peace. The peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). No matter what circumstances are like on the outside, let His perfect peace rule in your hearts and minds, at all times!

Remember: He is With You!

“And remember that I am always with you until the end of time.”   — Matthew 28:20 (GW) After Jesus had been crucified and risen from the the dead, He met His disciples at the mountain in Galilee. Jesus came to them and said, “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” (Matthew 28:18). At the end of His instructions, He reminds them, “I am always with you until the end of time.” Whatever your current situation, Jesus has authority over it, and you are seated with Him in heavenly places. Exercise the authority you have in Christ. And remember: Jesus is ALWAYS with you!

By Your Side

I will bless the Lord who guides me; even at night my heart instructs me. I know the Lord is always with me. I will not be shaken, for he is right beside me. Psalm 16:7-8 (NLT) Listen to the LORD. His guidance is full of wisdom and truth. You will not be shaken, with Him by your side. Stand with our eternal God and you will not be swayed by situations that come and go. Instead of finding yourself "under" the circumstances, you will be strong and immovable.

Goodness, Peace & Joy

For the Kingdom of God is not a matter of what we eat or drink, but of living a life of goodness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. If you serve Christ with this attitude, you will please God, and others will approve of you, too. —Romans 14:17-18 (NLT) May we pursue a life of goodness, peace and joy. Let us sow seeds of goodness, peace and joy in abundance and we will reap a bountiful harvest. Amen. Love, Jackie

Redeemed from the Curse

Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree."  —Galatians 3:13 (NIV) We have been redeemed from the curse. Praise the Lord! In the place of death, He has given us eternal life. Instead of sickness, He has given us health. For poverty, He has made us rich. He has turned our sadness into everlasting joy and given us peace to replace fear. Let us be glad and rejoice in our redemption. Love, Jackie
