Keep Soaring!

Image
He gives power to the weak and strength to the powerless. Even youths will become weak and tired, and young men will fall in exhaustion. But those who trust in the LORD will find new strength. They will soar high on wings like eagles. They will run and not grow weary. They will walk and not faint. — Isaiah 40:29-31 (NLT) Keep soaring with Jesus and you will find new strength. In the depths of your suffering, greater strength is developed. In the midst of your pain, you will gain power to rise up. As you continue to mount up with wings like eagles, your mess will become your message. Your tests and trials will lead to your testimony of what God has done. Keep soaring with the LORD and the land of your brokenness will be the place of your blessing. You will come out of the fiery furnace without even the smell of smoke on you. Keep soaring through the valley and onto the victory, we have in Jesus. Spread your wings and rise higher and higher toward the glorious destination the LORD has...

Commit Your Works

Image
Commit your works to the LORD [submit and trust them to Him], And your plans will succeed [if you respond to His will and guidance]. — Proverbs 16:3 (AMP) Whatever goals or plans you have made for the coming new year, may you submit them to the LORD. Then, let us remember not to run off and do our own thing and end up turning to Him to fix a mess. Instead, continually seek the LORD and ask for His help and guidance along the way. We can make our plans, but the LORD determines our steps (Proverbs 16:9 NLT). Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails (Proverbs 19:21 NIV).

Keep a Firm Grip

Image
All those prayers are coming together now so you will do this well, fearless in your struggle, keeping a firm grip on your faith and on yourself. After all, this is a fight we’re in. There are some, you know, who by relaxing their grip and thinking anything goes have made a thorough mess of their faith. — 1 Timothy 1:18-19 (MSG) Remember, we are engaged in a war. We are not fighting against flesh-and-blood enemies, but against evil rulers and authorities of the unseen world, against mighty powers in this dark world, and against evil spirits in the heavenly places. Therefore, put on every piece of God’s armor so you will be able to resist the enemy in the time of evil. Then after the battle you will still be standing firm. (Ephesians 6:12-13, NLT). Fight the good fight, finish the race, keep the faith. (2 Timothy 4:7)
