Worthy is the Lamb!

Image
For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. — 1 Peter 1:18-19 (NLT) “ Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world! ” (John 1:19) He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, and by His stripes we are healed. (Isaiah 53:5) He was oppressed and He was afflicted, yet He opened not His mouth; He was led as a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He opened not His mouth. (Isaiah 53:7) Jesus came that we may have life, and have it abundantly. He made it possible for us to live a free and full life. Worship the Lamb of God for He is worthy of all our praises! And every creature which is in heaven and on the earth and under the earth and such as are in the sea, and al...

Saved & Free!

Image
He is so rich in kindness and grace that he purchased our freedom with the blood of his Son and forgave our sins. He has showered his kindness on us, along with all wisdom and understanding. — Ephesians 1:7-8 (NLT) For you know that God paid a ransom to save you from the empty life you inherited from your ancestors. And it was not paid with mere gold or silver, which lose their value. It was the precious blood of Christ, the sinless, spotless Lamb of God. (1 Peter 1:18-19 NLT) Jesus saved us from an empty, dead-end life, and gave us a life of freedom, full of peace, joy and purpose. He showered us with His lovingkindness and put us on the path that leads to everlasting life. Praise the name of the Lord!

Give Your Life

“...the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many.” — Matthew 20:28 (NKJV) Jesus was anointed to proclaim good news to the poor. He was sent to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners, (Isaiah 61:1). Our Lord and Savior gave His life to fulfill His mission. What are we willing to give to fulfill the call the Father has placed on our lives? May we model after Jesus and live a life of sacrifice, to serve those whom God has placed in our sphere of influence. We never know whose freedom is tied to our obedience, our willingness to answer the call.

It's Only by His Grace!

You are partners with Christ Jesus because of God. Jesus has become our wisdom sent from God, our righteousness, our holiness, and our ransom from sin. — 1 Corinthians 1:30 (GW) Everything that we have—right thinking and right living, a clean slate and a fresh start—comes from God by way of Jesus Christ (1 Corinthians 1:30, The Message). Let us not think more highly of ourselves than we ought to. It is only by the grace of God that we are who we are today. Jesus has become our righteousness and holiness. He paid the price for our sin and brought us back into fellowship with our heavenly Father. It is not something we could have done for ourselves. He has become for us wisdom from God. Thank you, Jesus!
