Armed with Strength

Long for the LORD

Glory in His holy name;  Let the hearts of those who seek and require the LORD [as their most essential need] rejoice. Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. — Psalm 105:3-4 (AMP) Let not a day go by that you do not long for more of Yahweh, in your heart, in your mind and in your life. Like John the Baptist said in John 3:30, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” May we consistently inquire of Him and His will for us, and draw our strength from Him, for with Yahweh all things are possible.“...those who entwine their hearts with Yahweh will experience divine strength. They will rise up on soaring wings and fly like eagles, run their races without growing weary, and walk through life without giving up.” ‭‭(Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31‬ ‭TPT‬‬)   

Seek the LORD

Seek and deeply long for the LORD and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. — Psalm 105:4 (AMP) The LORD is compassionate and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in lovingkindness. (Psalm 103:8 NASB) How blessed is the man whose strength is in the LORD. They go from strength to strength. (See Psalm 84:5-7) …the lovingkindness of the LORD is from everlasting to everlasting on those who [reverently] fear Him, and His righteousness to children’s children, (Psalm 103:17 AMP) Now set your heart and your soul to seek the Lord your God. They who seek the LORD shall not be in want of any good thing. (See Psalm 34:10)

Feast on His Faithfulness

Keep trusting in the Lord and do what is right in his eyes. Fix your heart on the promises of God and you will be secure, feasting on his faithfulness. — Psalm 37:3 (TPT) The LORD is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. (Psalm 100:5) Seek and deeply long for the Lord and His strength [His power, His might]; Seek and deeply long for His face and His presence continually. (Psalm 105:4 AMP)

Seek the LORD

Psalm 143:8 (NKJV) says, “ Cause me to he ar Your lovingkindness in the morning, for in You do I trust; Cause me to know the way in which I should walk, for I lift up my soul to You. ” May you hear His unfailing love each morning and follow His guidance every day. Praise the LORD! For he has heard my cry for mercy. The LORD is my strength and shield. I trust him with all my heart. He helps me, and my heart is filled with joy. I burst out in songs of thanksgiving . — Psalm 28:6-7  (NLT)

His Grace is all You Need!

Each time he said, “My grace is all you need. My power works best in weakness.” So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. — 2 Corinthians 12:9 (NLT) We’ve been surrounded and battered by troubles, but we’re not demoralized; we’re not sure what to do, but we know that God knows what to do; we’ve been spiritually terrorized, but God hasn’t left our side; we’ve been thrown down, but we haven’t broken. (2 Corinthians 4:7-9 MSG) In the midst of troubles and trials, admit your weakness and rely on the power of Christ to work through you. God already knows how to handle every challenge that confronts you, and He has not left your side. Amen.

Perfect Peace

You will keep in perfect peace all who trust in you, all whose thoughts are fixed on you! — Isaiah 26:3 (NLT) No peace? Fix your thoughts upon the LORD. He keeps in perfect and constant peace the one whose mind is committed and focused on Him. Fix your thoughts on His power and His ability to handle everything that concerns you. Meditate on His abundant compassion and kindness, to protect you as a loving Father. Take comfort in His Presence. He is always with you. Trust Him to guide you along on the path He has for you, and true peace will be yours. He will give you peace at all times and in every way as you continually fix your thoughts on Him.

Seek the LORD

(Psalm 34:4 NASB) Look at him; give him your warmest smile. Never hide your feelings from him. When I was desperate, I called out, and God got me out of a tight spot. (Psalm 34:5-6 MSG) When you are faced with challenges, look to our Champion, Jesus, the King of kings and Lord of lords. Honor his holy name with Hallelujahs, you who seek God. Live a happy life! Keep your eyes open for God, watch for his works; be alert for signs of his presence. (Psalm 105:3-4 MSG)

Boast in God

Through You we will push down our enemies; Through Your name we will trample those who rise up against us. For I will not trust in my bow, nor shall my sword save me. But You have saved us from our enemies, and have put to shame those who hated us. In God we boast all day long, and praise Your name forever. Selah — Psalm 44:5-8 (NKJV) Let us not put our trust in our abilities or resources. It’s by His power that resides in us and works through us that we are able to accomplish anything. John 15:15 says apart from Christ we can do nothing. If we boast, may we boast in God alone, all the day long. The Message Bible says, “All day we parade God’s praise…” (Psalm 448a). My soul makes its boast in the LORD; The humble and downtrodden will hear it and rejoice. (Psalm 34:2 AMP)

Tune In

…by giving himself completely at the Cross, actually dying for you, Christ brought you over to God’s side and put your lives together, whole and holy in his presence. You don’t walk away from a gift like that! You stay grounded and steady in that bond of trust, constantly tuned in to the Message, careful not to be distracted or diverted. — Colossians 1:22-23 (MSG) If you ever feel like your life is falling apart, know that in Christ, our lives come together perfectly. Just as we make sure we are on the right channel to view our favorite television show, let us stay tuned in to what our mighty God is doing in our midst. He is a great big God and He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us, (Ephesians 3:20, NKJV).

Say “YES!” to God

So let God work his will in you. Yell a loud no to the Devil and watch him scamper. Say a quiet yes to God and he’ll be there in no time. — James 4:7-8 (MSG) Say “no” to the devil and his lies. Don’t fall for his tricks, distractions and temptations. When we cry out to God, He hears us and comes to the rescue. Just as a loving parent listens for the cry of their child, our God loves and us and keeps watch over us. Say “yes” to God, His ways and His will. Resist the devil and submit to our heavenly Father. He only wants the best for you. And He is able able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, (Ephesians 3:20 NIV).
